With the eye of contemporary cultural studies and the voice of a true lifelong Turtles fan, Rosenbaum argues that the Turtles’ continuing success isn’t mere nostalgia, but rather the result of characters, and a franchise, that mutated in a way that allowed the to survive and thrive in a post-modern world.

On an adventure, four mutant turtle brothers discover they possess mystic ninja powers. Not only did they discover ninja powers, but they also saved four sisters held captive by Baron Draxum. There is another snapping turtle named Jamey who wears a red mask, a spiny softshell turtle named Cheyenne who wears a purple mask, a turtle named Jesse who wears a blue mask, and another ornate box turtle named Tasneem who wears an orange mask. A hidden magical realm lies beneath the sewers of New York City, and the eight turtles work together to uncover it. They are rising up against evil and paint the city green with each other they discover their Destiny and Rise Cowabunga!!

Young teenager, Kylee, is on a stupid and dangerous mission. With the help of her best friend Rebecca (who's with her in spirit), she's determined to find the legendary Comic book, Tv heroes; the Teenage Mutant Ninja turtles. A crazy feat, she knows. Only a crazed fan who's in need for a fine reality check would do this sort of thing! Though.....surprisingly enough....she actually finds them-as they were depicted in the stories!....though-they aren't exactly teenagers any more That was shocking enough to her, but however she truly got Raphael to train her is forever beyond her grasp. Later on Rebecca ships herself to New work and ends up being trained by Michelangelo! As sisters in training, around the most danger prone of men-what could possibly happen that would endanger their lives? *As some of u may kno, my friend, beautifulgeek, is writing a Tmnt fanfic in my honor.
