To increase their popularity, ACTS unveils a contest for college students to spend a year abroad: on the moon. The opportunity appeals to Grace, a poor student who isn't well-travelled but is good at proving her worth. When she wins a place on the Lunar Voyage, it quickly occurs to her that perhaps the contest wasn't one at all, and ACTS has a specific plan for her and the other winners.
