When Hare realizes that there's no convincing her friends to keep trying, she turns to another group of dragonets to ask them for help. Flame hates the prophecy. He hates his stupid fate and the stupid NightWing that threw him into this mess. When he finds out the prophecy was fake all along, he's more than happy to give up. He wants nothing more than to go home and see his mother, especially after all that's happened. But Hare manages to be convincing enough, and the last thing he wants is to have to live in fear of losing his mother to the war. Both groups of dragonets have lived their entire lives in a lie, but one will end the war and make Pyrrhia the continent it was before. The Darkest Days [A Wings Of Fire Fanfiction] by redstorm3759

Nightfighter is a strange NightWing, he has light blue eyes and most importantly, the powers of the NightWings lost centuries ago. He has both mind reading and prophecy telling. He attends Jade Mountain Academy meeting Moonwatcher, another mind reader. He meets new friends, his winglet. He soon finds out about dark secrets along with his newly found friends. Death follows, with a great danger lurking above them. Will Nightfighter and his friends survive? Or will they die trying? If you haven't read the books yet, this might be a bit confusing because this takes place first in book six and takes some information from book 7. Most of this book was made before book 9: "Talons of Power" so I might get some stuff wrong. Wings Of Fire and it's characters does not belong to me but to Tui T. Sutherland, all rights are hers. The only characters I own are my characters in this story. Do not use any of my original characters (OC) for any of your uses without my permission. Cover art is by Sahel The Sandwing, all credit goes to her. There is the youtube video of her making this drawing in the prologue. Definitely recommend reading the entire trilogy because plotholes will be explained. A big twist at the final book too.

NOTE: The following is a fanfiction inspired by Tui T Sutherland's "Wings of Fire" saga. "Wings of Fire" does not belong to me, and much of the material included in this story is fanon, not canon, though several canon characters will be making appearances throughout the story. Taking place during the events of "Book 1: The Dragonet Prophesy" and the War of SandWing Succession, this is the story of Lemming. Lemming is a young IceWing of middle class rank, who has been a loyal soldier on Blaze's side in the war for a couple years. She's small for an IceWing of her age, but has been able to use this to her advantage to become a successful soldier and survive in the war. However, after a battle takes a turn for the worse, Lemming is left as one of the few survivors and imprisoned in the SkyWing arena. This new world is more brutal than the battles she'd fought in the war, and the SkyWings don't kill for necessity -they kill for entertainment. Can Lemming survive in this new kill or be killed world, or will she be just another body to be swept from the arena sand? NOTE 2: Some of the wording and phrasing of Pt4 comes straight from "The Dragonet Prophesy". That wording was created by Tui T. Sutherland, not me, though I am using it for descriptive purposes in those specific scenes, which first appeared in "The Dragonet Prophesy". All chapter cover artwork made and designed by me.
