Scott Hoying has to spend the summer before his senior year of high school with his aunt in Bloomington, Illinois, while his mom is on a work trip in Europe. It's a big difference from his hometown of Arlington, Texas and he's admittedly not thrilled about the situation. That is, until he meets Mitch Grassi, the brown-eyed, cute, city boy, who lives down the street. Mitch introduces Scott to the hidden beauties of Bloomington, takes him into the daunting, yet incredibly exciting city of Chicago that's just a short train ride away, and opens him up to a life and part of himself that he didn't know was there. Through it all, Scott may even be starting to fall for Mitch, but as the summer flies by, what will happen when he has to go back to Texas?
