My heart pounds so loud it forces me to open my eyes. I can't tell whether I'm more tired from Your touch, your voice, your laugh. You are evil to me now. A monster in the dark too big to fit under my bed. Invading the spaces that I wanted to hold close, my skin and my family. You didn't rape me, but the thought that you have the capacity physically and emotionally makes me need to stay half the universe away from you. I don't know how your mind works, but I know how your hands do. I know that your ears are deaf to the words "No.", "Stop" and panicked "What are you doing??"s. I know that your lips laugh a laugh that means you think you're doing nothing wrong. And I don't know how to make you get just how wrong it was. And I'm forced to relive the after-effects of your touch over and over.

This is a compilation of very short stories.

So I gave myself a New Years' resolution/challenge. For each day that passes, I have to write at least 500 words in a short story form. Now, I can skip one or two days, but I have to carry those 500 words to the next day. These short stories range from literally everything. I'm not putting a TW on all the chapters because there are too many. Read at your own risk. I'm starting off with prompts from Reedsy in order to get into the flow.
