Just because you admire the fire does not mean you were made to burn in it. We are not meant to set ourselves alight for everything we adore. "Strings" is a collection of poems about invisible threads-those that bind us to memory, to love, to grief, and to the people we become while learning to let go.

MELANCHOLY | MAY GARNER | AVAILABLE ON AMAZON!    This melancholy drips from my fingertips so slowly you begin to forget I ever existed. All of me - the parts of flesh you never quite learned to love slips quietly down the drain. I am waiting for the day your fingers unscrew the pipes, dig through the mess, scrape your heart against rust, just to find me again, so we can do it all over. Here, in these pages, I find myself. In ink pressed against my flesh, I whisper the sadness, the heartache, the decay meant for all the unspoken.    A Poetry Collection by May Garner. Original poems regarding real life experiences. A world of poems captured in a single book, written by a girl who played every role: the academic achiever, the loyal friend, the eldest daughter, and more. She was always the one chosen for the top rank, yet she was never the one chosen by love. This collection is a bridge across the years, composed of verses that trace a haunting evolution where the innocent wonders of childhood slowly sharpen into the cold realizations of the real world. Yours truly, RosePoet (Note: These entries are not arranged in chronological order; however, I have included dates to serve as a guide to navigate the journey through time.) A collection of poems written in each piece like a petal that reveals soft confessions, hidden aches and language of silence. The silence that lingers in nights, and in the feelings that are too fragile to be spoken aloud. Photo that has been used were not mine!!

A collection of poems that had the potential to be loved, yet remained unnoticed. Poets don't just write - they bleed, piece by piece, into the paper. They breathe life into words and call it poetry. Writing is filled with what-ifs, maybes, and endless confusion. Yet a poet continues - to write, to bleed, to stay honest. Poets are known for writing about love, but in truth, they write what they secretly crave - and when asked why, they learn to lie. This book is a place where overthinkers can breathe, where tired minds can rest, and where those carrying too much can finally pause.

To the girl I love Secretly, You are my sunshine. You are my hope and dreams. You are my peace, my light. You are my soft place to fall with. You are my everything. My dear Lili, I can't promise to love you forever But surely I can love you eternally. /2019Sept05/ ---------------------- As soon as I laid my eyes on her, I know it was love at first sight. I don't know her name, I don't know anything about her. But when our eyes met, she got me. I cant explain the feeling. It got me afraid and excited at the same time. How can I not be afraid? I fell in love with a person who I just saw on my news feed? Her picture suddenly pops up and when I saw her, I fell helplessly. Crazy right? But this, this makes me happy knowing that she exists. I love her from afar. And this is all I got for now. I'm taking this step to silently show my love for her. Only until when I am someone who can she be proud of. And I'm working on that. Somehow I'm wishing that this, could reach her. ------------ REMINDERS: First: English is not my first language so please expect for grammatical errors and please bear with it. Second: This work will be set of poems (free verse or rhymed) and MAYBE some sort of love story telling. (all about her of course) Every bit of words to be publish purely comes from my heart, my soul and comes from my mind. Third: I'm open to any types of criticism but I'm not pleasing everyone. Find it corny, find it crazy it's up to you. And if you don't believe me then I wont force you to. ----------- That would be all! Thank you.

There was a time when I believed every feeling could be translated into words Then I met your eyes Since then, every poem has been an unfinished attempt to explain what it feels like to lose yourself in a gaze and call it salvation Dedication: For the eyes that taught me that some feelings are too sacred for language

My poetry collection Pt. 2 is a continuation of my thoughts, emotions, and experiences. Each poem explores themes like love, loneliness, healing, faith, identity, and the quiet moments that shape who we are. Some poems were written during difficult times, others during moments of hope and growth. Together, they tell more pieces of my story and the way I see the world. All poems in this collection are @AleighaMarieXOXO original works. No copying or plagiarism is acceptable. This collection is still growing, and I continue to add new poems as inspiration strikes. If even one poem helps someone feel understood or less alone, then sharing my words is more than worth it.
