Poetry for the Attys This is a collection of poetry I wrote over the last few months. Each poem is special to me in one way or another... Each tells a story. It was interesting to write in forms and styles I hadn't even known existed till I decided to enter this competition. Good luck to everyone.

Le palais du sultan est témoin des histoires d'amour de deux sœurs, princesses et filles du sultan d'une contrée d'Arabie nommée Al-Himad, qui désire les marier chacune à un prince.

L'histoire d'Ali, beau jeune homme bagarreur, turbulant et mauvais garçon malgré sa générosité et son grand coeur, qui vit seul chez son méchant beau-père pauvre et violent. Ali aime vadrouiller dans les rues sales de Bagdad avec son ami Hakim et à cause de leur pauvreté, les deux amis n'hésitent pas à voler les marchands, et ils sont souvent poursuivis par les gardes du sultan.
