She puts out flyers for a job, a maids job. This will help their familia in her mind. These maids will take care of Casita and the small chores around Casita. A 15 year-old girl who lives a shallow, and dark life, and a boy who lives in a kaleidoscopic and intoxicating delight met; slowly, they unraveled things beyond the agonizing retribution and soul-crushing legacy. The 'wealthy' family had sternly decided to leave the Philippines and move to Colombia. The family's matriarch, whom the Madrigal's matriarch's acquaintance, will finally meet again after a long period of time. This story is a magical realism that takes place in the early 1950s, with a sense of the author's personal experiences.

Camilo slowly falls in love with a girl from town, Estella Alvarez! A stubborn girl who is tough on everyone, but has a soft spot for Camilo :) Estella's parents leave her with her younger brother as they go on a business trip. She was never familiar with the Madrigal family, she had only talked to each individual member around 3 times her whole life. She had always lived in the town of the Encanto What would happen with her now being alone there?
