Ten years have passed since she left, and now the Madrigals are faced with a new challenge, one they never expected. All of a sudden, two new doors appeared, seemingly out of nowhere, with no five-year-olds around to open them. The grandkids convinced Bruno to have a vision which showed a seemingly five-year-old and a seemingly thirteen-year-old opening them and receiving gifts. Now the Madrigal grandkids are set on a quest to find Mirabel and the two girls, but when they do, they face new challenges again. Ones they don't seem to overcome easily.

"Mi Carámbano" is an Elsa x Isabela Madrigal fic taking place during the events of the first 'Frozen' movie & one year before 'Encanto'. -------- Isabela Madrigal was blooming flowers for the town when & an odd wind pattern picked up her flowers. She became distracted by it & followed. Isa's youngest sister, Mirabel, had also seen the patterns. Their abuela witnessed Isa pushing off chores to 'dilly-dally' with her sister & now angrily trailed after them. A few strange magical moments later- Isabela, Mirabel, & their abuela were pulled to a land foreign to them. Flags of indigo & emerald waved high & mutterings of coronation ran thick. Officials flooded the docks, gates opened, & the festivities didn't end. Excitement was so heavy that none noticed three faces being dropped off by a... water horse? Though bells rang & people cheered, Elsa was petrified. Her social life had been sorely limited for the past thirteen years, & today it all changed. She refused to let her people, & her sister, down. She rehearsed time & time again, but couldn't restrain the ice. What if they all saw? What if she's not ready? What if Isabela & Elsa meet, learning all the things they have in common? I'm doing my best to still highlight those separate stories as well as aspects of Isa's heritage, and a story of wlw love.
