In a story filled with prohibition, criminal activity, and finding love in the shadiest of places, the two find themselves completely and utterly enamored with another. The more Vinnie sticks around Allen, the more her life changes... for better or for worse.

"Brandy for the Parson, Baccy for the Clerk" is a quotation from Rudyard Kipling's "A Smuggler's Song", a description of the over-romanticised smuggling communities of the 19th century. In my tale Coastguard John Hinkley is stationed at a remote location on the north east coast of England where smugglers and coastguard officers trade with cutlasses and muskets. When a dead body is found John must seek out the perpetrators, and his investigation brings him up against unexpected adversaries. The Admiralty's Revenue Men, ruthless smugglers, informants and corruption, even the Dignitaries and Nobility are brought together in this story which takes much from the reality of the time. This story will be published in Chapters. The date of the release of each new chapter will be noted at the end of the last currently available Chapter.

While real nations will be renamed, with additional lore added on to the world and certain historical details removed or altered, they will be identifiable.
