This play follows the life of a boy, a misunderstood genius who stumbles upon the answer. His relationship with the older characters highlights a generational gap by outlining the different reactions the characters have to the same core events. As the play unfolds, the events coalesce to give a clear picture of a world in the throes of a World War. Set in Australia in 2038, with humanity engaged in a World War: "The Phantom War". In an age where information is currency, no one knows who they are fighting. Unexplained deaths and disappearances are common place in every corner of the world. The authorities are baffled and at a loss. The aggressors appear and disappear at will. The boy's character develops as he attempts to persuade those around him of his discovery, at the same time grappling to understand the broader ramifications himself. The play, essentially a dystopian text, will test your memory, fire your imagination and give you pause to reflect.

The little girl walked up to the abandoned old house that has belonged to five families before. At least one person from each family had gone competely insane due to unknown reasons. How she knows this? It comes to her in voices. Voices that tell her things. Voices that tell her what to do, and she listens to all of them. She has been forbidden to come here without an adult. Her parents won't let her out of the house until she's nineteen exactly, they don't even let her go to school. Each of those five people had a favorite place in tht mansion. One loved the art room, one loved the kitchen, one loved the yard both front and back, one loved the library, and the last one loved the dining room. Those people lost their minds and killed themselves in those favorite spots and their spirits lived on in the house. Each from different time periods. Her barefeet walked along the long driveway as untrimmed trees passed by separated evenly, but she payed no attention at all, she was listening to the voices. Every child around here had those kind of voices, but they soon out grow them. If they don't they go to a mental hospital. When her small feet touched the first splintery stair, it made a creaking sound. The second they touched the second stair though, she was thrown back by an invisible force. " Go away and never ever come back." an unknown voice said to the bleeding girl. " Ugly girl, go away." another voice said laughing. That was the day she swore she would never go back there ever again, never in a million years, she told her self. But little did she know, this house would become a big part of her life when she's nineteen. And that little girl, is me. There's just one problem.......

"I don't want to die," I look up into Aaron's dark, puffy eyes. He's been crying. "I don't want to leave yet." "You're gonna be okay," He closes his eyes to prevent tears from spilling out. "You are gonna be out of here in no time." "If you are so sure I'm gonna be okay, why are you crying?" I say through my sobs. "Because it hurts to see you in so much pain," He squeezes my hand and blinks away his tears. Sage Delacruz is just a normal 15-year-old girl. She goes to school. She's learning to drive. She is living out her life. Until one day, everything changes.

Working at a Day Care Center was a piece of cake. I mean, how hard can that be? Money can make you do things that you never expected. Like working at a Day Care Center was one for me. It isn't easy trying to Cope with the old man and the old lady quarrel over the rent and at the same time manage children who aren't ready to listen, but the pay is good and I need that- desperately. My life was regular until I made a HUGE mistake. A stupid DVD player displaying explicit content. "Are we committing infidelity?" "Practically no, since I'm a widower." "Hush." I place my finger on his now red lips and hush him. Luke opens his mouth slowly, startling me as he bites the edge of my finger. - Elizabeth Jane Taylor - Luke Rodger William
