Backwards Stories

It all goes backwards. It starts from the end and moves to the beginning. At least, that's the case for Everly.

Kevin Smith thinks that saying "I love you" can be one of the hardest things to say. But, after a broken family, the worst best friend and a broken heart, Kevin starts to feel like he isn't even alive anymore. But, after an accident, Kevin tells his story backwards from Day 365 to Day 1 to see where it went all wrong and where it all started as he realizes too that maybe three words could have saved his life no matter how hard they were to say and to see if the stars did shine out to him like he thought they would

We were asked to write an unusual imaginative autobiography in class. I took the most unusual approach, starting the story from my death.

This is just a collection of random really short poems I wrote. Some of them kind of follow a story, but only kind of. A lot of them are about either the impossible or lemons. I'm kind of obsessed..... Anyway, enjoy!

Large ideas sometimes have limits, these are my larger ideas, that just didn't seem to work, so we're made into a much shorter story. Hope you enjoy.

Her name is Eliana, but sometimes it's Jimena or Natalie, but Eliana is her favorite. She has dark eyes, and dark hair, and dark olive skin. Her features are of the sort where no one can quite place them. She could be from the far-east or the jungles of the south or even the ice covered north. The ambiguity suits her. The bright yellow is a remembrance of an old life. One filled with bright colored scarves and skirts, loud music, crystal balls, perfume oils, and midnight bonfires. Her favorite life. A life behind her, now.
