His parents take him to the doctor who tells them to go to Cook Children's hospital. There they do many tests and are told Hot shot has Ewing Sarcoma a type of bone cancer and needs treatment. Hot shot is brave and ready to face it head on. There at the hospital he makes friends with four other kids his own age who have the same type of cancer. They decide to fight their cancer together and become the best of friends. They are determined to win too! (Humanized)
