Hot shot starts to grow into a very happy and healthy five year old. Hot shot loves to run, jump, climb and play. However when in June, Hot shot starts to feel unwell. Hot shot has a horrible headache, he is vomiting, he is tired all the time and he is cranky. His parents take him to Cook Children's hospital ER because they are worried about him. Then Hot shot has something called an MRI. The MRI reveals Hot shot has a brain tumor the size of an apple. Hot shot gets some other tests done. Then Hot shot is diagnosed with Choroid Plexus Carcinoma a type of brain cancer. Hot shot is going to be brave and fight his cancer. Hot shot soon makes friends with four other kids his age in the hospital with the same type of cancer. They decide to fight their cancer together. Hot shot is determined to kick cancer's butt! Hot shot is admitted to the hospital to get the holes closed. Hot shot is ready to be brave and face the heart surgery. Hot shot makes friends with four other kids who also need heart surgery.
