There he gets an MRI which reveals a brain tumor in his left pariental lobe near the frontal lobe and a biopsy reveals it is ATRT a type of brain cancer. Hot shot makes friends with five other kids his age with the same cancer who were also just diagnosed. Three boys, Hoist, Medix, and Wedge and a girl Whirl.
