Unreality is a mysterious phenomenon that appears to take place when mentally unstable individuals project the contents of their subconscious onto reality, distorting the very fabric of space and transforming the surrounding environment into a perilous mindscape which reflects their innermost thoughts and feelings. An organization was created to deal with such incidents, and Virgil is one of its agents. He keeps a carefully cultivated solitary lifestyle, but his self-inflicted isolation is challenged when he meets Ariadne, a girl coping with sorrow and grief after the loss of her twin brother. The two begin to form a bond, but as Virgil comes across more and more cases of unreality, his own psyche starts to unravel, forcing him to confront his own mental scars and deep-seated feelings of alienation.

To everyone else, he is the perfect student: polite, intelligent, and on the fast track to a future he's supposed to want. But this is just a role he plays. A mask to hide the truth. At 21, he moves to the historic university city of Pécs to start his life, but he's already a ghost. He is a detached spectator in his own story, watching himself perform the part of 'The Son' and 'The Student' with a cold, clinical precision. Haunted by the shadows of a father who left and a mother he can't help but hurt, his new life is not one of freedom. It's a life of financial spreadsheets, missed parties, and the crushing weight of a poverty that isolates him from a world he can't afford to join. The city's ancient streets and bustling lecture halls are just a backdrop. His real world is the four walls of his sterile dorm room, the bitter static of phone calls home, and the pages of a black notebook-the only place he is honest. He watches, he records, and he asks himself one question: How long can you perform a life before you are completely disqualified from living one?

This was originally going to be the sequel to A Daughter of Gotham where Nadia was the Riddler. Instead of riddles, she would leave poems at the scene of her crimes, with clues to her identity. She would never be caught, but Bruce would know. I decided not to write the story, but here are the poems.

He watches people. Their smiles. Their kindness. Their honesty. He believes silence keeps him untouched-until someone looks back. Someone sees through the mask he never thought he wore, forcing him to question what remains when you observe life instead of living it. A psychological coming-of-age story about identity, quiet alienation, and the danger of being invisible for too long. Some masks hide you. Others erase you. A slow-burn psychological story intended for mature young adult readers. This is a slow, introspective story. It focuses on psychology, silence, and subtle moments rather than action. If you enjoy stories that make you uncomfortable in a quiet way-this is for you. #1 in silence #1 in perception

What does it mean to feel like a stranger in your own life? To carry a quiet ache that weighs heavier than your own bones? To watch days blur into numbness, waiting for a sky that never seems to answer? This is the raw, unspoken space where disconnection settles deep-where existence feels borrowed, and every breath is just... surviving. But what happens when that ache becomes a whisper? When the walls of the familiar start to crack? This is the trembling edge where courage takes root-where the fear of staying becomes louder than the fear of falling. Where the choice to feel-to run, to laugh, to savor light and shadow-becomes an act of quiet rebellion. This is a journey through two landscapes: One of profound alienation. One of radical belonging. For anyone who's ever felt invisible-and dared to claim their place in the sun anyway.

The Stranger (French: L'Étranger [letʁɑ̃ʒe], lit. 'The Foreigner'), also published in English as The Outsider, is a 1942 novella written by French author Albert Camus. The first of Camus's novels to be published, the story follows Meursault, an indifferent settler in French Algeria, who, weeks after his mother's funeral, kills an unnamed Arab man in Algiers. The story is divided into two parts, presenting Meursault's first-person narrative before and after the killing.Camus completed the initial manuscript by May 1941, with revisions suggested by André Malraux, Jean Paulhan, and Raymond Queneau that were adopted in the final version. The original French-language first edition of the novella was published on 19 May 1942, by Gallimard, under its original title; it appeared in bookstores from that June but was restricted to an initial 4,400 copies, so few that it could not be a bestseller. Even though it was published during the Nazi occupation of France, it went on sale without censorship or omission by the Propaganda-Staffel. Considered a classic of 20th-century literature, The Stranger has received critical acclaim for Camus's philosophical outlook, absurdism, syntactic structure, and existentialism (despite Camus's rejection of the label), particularly within its final chapter. Le Monde ranked The Stranger as number one on its 100 Books of the 20th Century. In Le Temps it was voted the third best book written in French in the 20th and 21st century by a jury of 50 literary connoisseurs. The novella has twice been adapted for film: Lo Straniero (1967) and Yazgı (2001), has seen numerous references and homages in television and music (notably "Killing an Arab" by The Cure), and was retold from the perspective of the unnamed Arab man's brother in Kamel Daoud's 2013 novel The Meursault Investigation.
