May nahiram na guitar si Zeki.
Magaling naman siyang kumanta, nakahiligan niya ang pag tugtog noong high school pa kami dahil napabarkada siya kila Franco at Bern na parehong nasa iisang banda.
But, I never heard of him singing for a woman except for me and my mother. Ngayon ko lang siya nakitang kinakantahan ang isang babae.
He started strumming the guitar while looking at Becca's pair of hazel brown eyes.
Just a smile and the rain is gone,
can hardly believe it.~
He's manly voice fill the entire beach along with the waves of the calmest sea.
I keep smiling from ear to ear dahil kinikilig talaga ako sa kanila. Damn dude, they're drownly in-love with each other!

Nakisabay na rin ako sa pagkanta ng mahina dahil hindi ko na mapigilan.
I accidentally glance at Shawn whose looking at me.
Ngumiti ako sa kanya at ganoon rin siya. He didn't take his eyes off of me kahit pa sa peripheral vision ko lang siya tinitignan.
Muli akong napatingin sa kanya nang bigla siyang tumayo. I can no longer focus on singing along dahil sa kaba especially when he sat beside me.
Ang lapit lapit niya! I can literally feel his heat.
"Wear this." He handed me his sweatshirt.
"How about you? malamig." I said still hesitant.
Umiling siya at inipit ang takas na buhok sa tenga ko. "I'm used to it." He winked at me kaya sinuot ko ito.
It's a bit big on me. Lampas sa denim short ko ang haba. I feel warm now.
"Mukhang may nag kakamabutihan dito ah," wika ni Rebecca sa tabi ko. I didn't even notice na tapos na palang kumanta si Zeki dahil my whole attention was on Shawn.
"I'm courting her." Diretsong wika ni Shawn.
At ikinamula ito ng mukha ko.
I heard Zeki's loud laugh. "After thousand of years. FINALLY!" He teased.
Natatawang umiling si Shawn.
"Yeah, finally." He smile. I blush.
Ilang sandali pa ay naunang magpaalam ang mag asawa dahil aniya'y makikipag video call pa daw sila sa helper na naiwan para sa mga bata.
Naiwan tuloy kaming dalawa ni Shawn.
Magkadikit sa isa't isa na para bang nasa MRT kami at kailangang siksikan dahil wala nang space.
Ang luwag luwag pa naman ng upuan na inuupuan namin.
"So," I said unsure of what I am going to say.
"Hmmm?" Hinihintay niya ang susunod na sasabihin ko.
I pick a stick near the wooden fire and draw stars on the sand before I continue what I was about to say.
"Just want to ask you about the rejection. I mean you know, before." I asked biting my lower lips.
He intertwined our fingers before he answers me.
"I never rejected you." Panimula niya.
"You never heard any rejecting coming from my mouth Pen. I didn't speak a single word when you told me about your feelings for me." He said.
"Shawn, your silence told me that you don't care and that you don't like me." Pag angal ko.
"Is that how you understand silence?" He asks.
Tumango ako. "Silence means rejecting without speaking."
I couldn't continue because I was bothered by his amuse and adoration stare all on me.
"Hey, look at me." He held my chin and made me face him.
"What?" Masungit kong tanong.
"My silence that time was because you made me speechless."
"I could not speak a single word because I was afraid." Tahimik akong nakikinig sa kanya.
"There are lot of thoughts coming across my mind that time. You were too young back then, I was afraid that what you feel towards me is just an infatuation." Pinaglalaruan niya ang kamay ko.
"But it wasn't!" Angal ko.
"I'm glad it wasn't." He said.
"So, crush mo na din pala ako noon pa?" Curious na tanong ko sa kanya.
"Hindi kita crush." He answered.
May kumirot sa puso pero pinilit ko pa ring ngumiti.
"The first time I saw you, I knew I love you already. I was young when I felt love. I was clueless tho." Dagdag niya.
His words gave me butteflies.
"Not saying a single word doesn't mean I didn't feel the same way Penny."
"The first time that I visit your place was when Zeki invited me to play football. You were playing with your dog in your garden and that was the first time I saw you. The first time my heartbeat went crazy."
"Simula nung araw na yon, I've always been watching you from afar. I watch you grow as a person and I love every single bit of it." Pagpapatuloy niya.
His words touches my soul.
"I even have my ways to block all your suitors. No matter how hard I remind myself that I don't own you." He chuckle. Like he just remembered something.
What he's been telling me now made me speechless. Hindi ko inasahan ang mga ito. All along I thought he doesn't appreciate my feelings for him.
"It was painful seeing you stepping away from me. Ignoring me. Not paying attention to me anymore." This time, nakatingin na siya sa akin.
"I waited for the right moment for us," he whispered.
"The wait was worth it. I will do anything to have you now, whatever it takes." He kissed my hand.
Gusto kong tumalon talon at halikan siya. Why the hell am I acting like one of those teenagers I've seen on tv!
Sandali akong napatigil nang may marealize ako.
"Wait, kaya ba hindi natutuloy sa panliligaw ang mga manliligaw ko noon dahil tinatakot mo?" Hindi makapaniwalang tanong ko sa kanya.
Nagkibit balikat lang siya.
"Yeah." He said playfully.
I roll my eyes and laugh at him.
"Grabe ka! Kaya pala."
"Akala ko may mali sa akin!" I said.
He laugh at what I said. "Baby, you are the person closest to perfection."
Tumingin ako ng malalim sa mga mata niya at ngumiti ng buong puso.
"I love you." Wika ko at agad na namula.
He just stared at me while smiling like crazy with amusement visible in his eyes.
"Should I take that as a yes? Tayo na ba?" He asks, a bit nervous.
Napatawa ako.
"Yes Shawn. I want be your girlfriend, I'm saying yes to you." I said while looking deep into his soulful eyes.
I snap a finger in front of his face. "Hey!" I said.
He blink twice and held my cheeks using his hands.
"Can you please say it again?" Desperado niyang sabi.
I bit my lower lips. "I know it's fast. I-I don't like wasting chances. So it's a yes. I'm your girlfriend now." I said.
He kissed my cheek and hugs me tight.
Kumawala ako sa kanya at hinalikan ko siya sa pisngi pabalik.
'Gosh! my childhood dream came true!' I blushed.
"Do it again." He said.
Napakunot ang noo ko. "Do what?" I asked him.
He pointed his right cheek.
"Kiss me again, here." Aniya.
Natatawang nilapit ko ang mukha ko at hinalikan siya roon pero bago ko pa siya tuluyang mahalikan ay humarap na siya sa akin.
Causing the two of us to kiss each other in the lips! Nanlaki ang mga mata ko.
"Oh my gosh!" Bulalas ko pagkatapos ng halik.
"Oh my gosh!" He mimicked me.
Sinamaan ko siya ng tingin which only made him chuckle.
He gesture me to sit on the wooden chair between his legs.
Hesitant ako nung una pero tumayo rin at umupo roon.
His arms snake around my waist and his chin rested on my shoulder.
"I want to ask you something," wika ko.
He look at me and waited for me to say it.
"On my graduation day. In Cebu, were you there?" I asked, a bit shy.
He held my left hand. "I was there."
Sa gulat ko ay napalingon ako sa kanya.
He kissed my hair.
"I was near the entrance door clapping along the crowd. I'm so damn proud of you but I didn't let you see me because Zeki told me how much you hated me." He sadly said.
Inexpect ko ang sagot niya pero hindi pa rin ako makapaniwala.
"Did you receive my gift?" He asked.
"The big box?" I asks him.
He nodded.
"So ikaw nga talaga yon?" I asks him again, naninigurado.
He nodded. "So ako ang kismet mo?" Tanong ko ulit.
'Gusto kong kiligin ngayon, bakit ba?!'
"Yeah, you are." He said.
Grabe, napaka surreal ng gabing ito.
We stayed a little longer before we decided na pumasok na sa cottage namin dahil mas lumalamig at lumalalim na ang gabi.
We slept together that night. On the same bed.
The next day, kumatok kami sa kabilang cottage para yayain na silang umalis. Only to find out na mas nauna na pala silang umalis!
"THE TRAITORS!" I roll my eyes.
"Ma'am ang sabi nila mag e'extend pa raw po kayo ng isang araw rito. They already paid for it." The man on the front desk said.
Napalingon ako kay Shawn na may kausap sa telepono. Napalingon siya sa akin nang mapansin niya ang pag tingin ko sa kanya.
He putted him phone down bago lumapit sa akin.
"What's wrong?" He asked.
"What are we gonna do now?" I asks him.
"Cuddle?" He said playfully kaya sinuntok ko siya ng bahagya.
I sigh and roll my eyes. "I'm being serious!"
"Okay, okay! I love you." My eyes widden when he gave me a quick kiss.
"Well, sayang naman ang binayad nila. Let's just stay here for one more day." He said.
Sandali akong napaisip bago tumango.
Tinulungan niya akong maibalik namin ang mga gamit sa cottage at nag padeliver ng breakfast dahil pareho kaming gutom.
Ilang sandali pa ay may kumatok na sa pinto. Shawn was the one to open the door and received our food.
Napatingin ako sa ticket na nakasama sa pagkain namin.

"A party?" I asked while eating.
"Yeah." He said.
Napangisi ako nang may maisip akong kalokohan.
"Let's join!" I said.
Napakunot ang noo niya habang tinignan ako. "You're kidding right?" He asked.
Umiling ako at ngumiti. "Nope!"
He sigh before slowly nodding his head.
"Okay. Don't do anything bad or else.."
"Or else what?" Hamon ko sa kanya.
"You'll be wearing my t-shirt and boxer for the rest of the night." He said.
napatigil ako sa pagsubo at bagyang kinabaha.
"Your t-shirt huh, sure." Tapang tapangan kong sagot sa kanya at nagpatuloy sa pag kain.
He chuckle and started eating his food.
Titig na titig siya sa akin habang pareho kaming kumakain.
I choke when a picture of me in bed with Shawn came across my mind.
