You ask and you shall receive, I hope you guys enjoy! Also her swimming outfit above. She's gonna be wearing the same navy blue blindfold on her eyes again, at Kyoshi. Also I managed to get the scar in. You can kinda see it.

----------------

Lyra's POV

"Is she alright?" Aang asked.

"I'm sure she's fine." Katara answered.

"Aang, Sokka, Katara?" I questioned sitting up.

Instantly I connected with the water molecules around me.

I groaned my memory unclear

"What happened?" I asked as I pushed myself up.

As I pushed myself up, Aang lunged at me.

He hugged me tightly around my midsection, and I was reminded of how much of a kid he truly was.

"Are you alright? We were so worried!" Aang cried as he buried his head in my shoulder.

I smiled.

"I'm fine, I must've hit my head when I fell." I answered.

"No, you don't have a bump on your head." Katara answered.

I shook my head, as Aang finally let go of me.

"I do." I winced touching a red bump on my forehead.

"It's just fading." I finished.

I moved my hand over the bump using waterbending to help lower inflammation.

"How did you do that?" Katara asked amazed.

I shrugged.

"Instinct, I guess. It just felt natural." I said nonchalantly.

----------------

It was nightime as we flew over the ocean, Katara, and Sokka had fallen asleep and I had noticed Aang had not. I had just pulled on my blindfold having solace knowing it was on.

"Anyway, what'd I miss?" I asked Aang quietly, trying to sound cheerful.

Aang sprung up on Appa's head. Off the edge of the saddle. He took a rigid breath prepared to share their findings when I caught on.

"Ah, you found out... It'll be okay though. I promise." I assured Aang as I placed a gentle hand on his forehead.

He hugged me tightly as I sat beside him.

Tears streamed down his face as I tried to assure him.

"It'll be okay, Bud..." I assured him trying to soothe him as best I could.

I rubbed his back gently.

He eventually stopped crying and his eyes drew closed as he relaxed against me.

I frowned bringing my hand to his head feeling the arrow tattoo, I smiled softly remembering how quickly he had picked up on what I could do. It was monumental is contrast how stuff had happened in the south.

Appa stopped at a small quiet island as I gave him some water which he lapped up eagerly.

He soon fell asleep.

Leaving me to wonder what the stars looked like.

I felt something move in my gut that longed for me to swim beneath the waves, and I stepped forward, towards the waves that lapped on the beach shore.

Asura followed behind me but stopped and lapped up water but spat it out upon realization that it was salty.

I surrendered removing the pouch of berries hidden beneath my waistband from the air temple patches which I had collected on our way up. Which Asura took happily and went back to sleep.

Despite the fact that it was cold I removed my clothes to reveal the swimwear beneath.

I decided to go barefoot.

I stepped closer to the sea, hearing it's call.

I plunged below the surface and found myself oddly able to breath beneath the tides.

In fact it felt better to breath beneath the waves. Like I'd been born with fish gills.

My eyes expanded as water surrounded me everywhere.

I could see each fish in my radius.

Unlike my vision above the surface I could see for several miles.

I assumed because of the larger amount of water molecules around me.

I swam until the sun just had begun to rise, and I felt the warmth of it on my back.

I heard my name called as I brought my head above the suface.

"There you are!" Katara shouted, sounding relieved.

My breathing resumed as normal, as I swam towards Katara and left the water though I hadn't wanted to.

"I was worried when I couldn't find you." Katara stated.

"I just went for a swim." I smiled, thinking it harmless I said squeezing the water from my hair.

Katara definitely sounded angry the next time she spoke,

"You are blind! And you may as well be helpless! What if you had been pulled away by some dangerous creature?!" Katara yelled brutally.

My smile dropped and I grew angry,

"I'm not helpless, Katara. I may be blind, but I can waterbend!" I yelled back waking Aang and Sokka. But in the heat of the moment I could care less.

Katara fumed,

"Fine, drown for all I care!" She yelled angrily at me waving her arms around.

My heart stopped as I glared in her direction, hurt.

I growled fiercely at her as I stomped towards the shocked duo,

"the ocean is probably the safest place for me anyways!" I stated sending a medium ball of icy ocean water at her.

She cried out in suprise as I wiped away tears I had failed to prevent, fell.

I ran towards the bison and grabbed my clothes and pulled the water from my swim suit.

I changed quickly and curled in the corner of the bison's saddle.

Sokka tried to approach me and I glared towards him too.

"You think I'm helpless too?! I'll show you!" I barked at him, still hurt by Katara's words.

I was scared he'd say the same. He walked away silently.

I tossed the stuff I had grabbed back on Appa.

I pulled my knees to my chest hoping to allow some amount of comfort in the moment.

We took off early into the morning as the sun finished its greetings.

Sokka had apparently ripped his pants the night prior.

I still felt down, but covered the hurt with a happy mask. Bottling it until I should come need of it.

"You have no idea where you're going do you?" Sokka asked Aang as Katara repaired his pants.

"Well- I know it's near water." Aang smiled and continued to stare forward into the endless water.

"Guess we're getting close then." Sokka groaned.

Aang looked to Katara smiling excitedly.

"Momo, marbles, please." Aang asked the lemur which grabbed the two marbles from his clothes.

"Hey Katara, check out this airbending trick!" Aang grinned, as the marbles repelled the water vapor making me unable to see well.

Katara didn't even glance in his direction, Focused on fixing Sokka's pants.

"That's great, Aang." She stated as Aang frowning in disappointment.

"But you didn't even look." Aang stated.

Katara looked to him quickly,

"That's great!" Katara blinked trying to sound enthusiastic.

"But I'm not doing it now." Aang said.

Momo leapt from his shoulder and a weight fell to my left knee as the lemur licked my cheek.

"Stop bugging her, Airhead. You need to give girls space when they do their sewing." Sokka said.

I turned to him a look of disbelief on my face.

"You did not" I said.

May he rest in peace.

"What does me being a girl, have to do with sewing?" Katara questioned him.

Nope, nope, I'm out.

I moved up front with Aang trying to avoid the splash zone.

"Simple, girls are better at fixing pants then guys. And guys are better at hunting, and fighting, and stuff like that. It's just the natural order of things." Sokka stated.

Uh oh.

"All done with your pants and look what a great job I did!" Katara said enthusiastically and tossed the half sewn pants to Sokka.

Heh.

She tossed the pants to Sokka who caught them with his head.

I stifled a laugh but couldn't hold back my grin.

"Wait! I was just kidding! I can't wear these! Katara, please!" Sokka pleaded.

Aang chimed in beside me.

"Relax, Sokka where we're going you won't need pants!" Aang assured enthusiastically as Sokka slumped.

I gave a suprised cry as we fell downward suddenly.

Oh, we're at Kyoshi. Great.
