The God of Energy now only has two more weeks, and to her, there were no signs of Scaramouche enjoying his time in Liyue. They spent a lot of time together, and (Y/n) thought that he was not enjoying himself at all. She kept thinking and thinking, wanting to know what could possibly entertain this man.
For Scaramouche, he refuses to admit that he is enjoying this time in Liyue with (Y/n). He feels like if he were to admit it, he would be going back to the Tsaritsa empty handed, and he would have to face punishment. Punishment was not a good thing when it came to her Majesty. Half of him wanted to admit that he enjoyed his time in Liyue with (Y/n), and he wishes to stay with her and learn more about her as a person, and lie to the people back home and say that the Traveler is slick and he can't find them. But the other half of him does not want to face the Tsaritsa with nothing. No information, no locations, nothing.
"Scaramouche!" (Y/n) yelled from behind the teen, causing him to jump. "Ha! I got you!"
"(Y/n)! Do not do something like that to me ever again!" Scaramouche yelled, and kicked the girls butt, but that only made (Y/n) laugh even more. "What in the Tsaritsa's name do you think you're doing sneaking up on me?!"
"I wanted to see your reaction!" (Y/n) nearly fell on the ground, clutching her stomach. "I wish I could have had a painter paint your expression! I need to keep something like that!"
"Don't you dare!" Scaramouche yelled. He was a little happy they were currently at the Wangshu Inn, just staying there for a while before they go back to Liyue Harbor to enjoy some dishes from Chef Mao. Of course, this most likely meant (Y/n) was going to burn her mouth off like last week, but she enjoyed the thill of the spice. "I swear to the Tsaritsa you better not do that to me again! And don't you dare have a painter somewhere hiding to paint my face the next time you scare me."
"That is not a guarantee!" (Y/n) laughed more, falling on her back and laughed like crazy. "Oh gosh that was amazing!"
"Stop laughing at me you stupid women!" Scaramouche yelled, obviously frustrated with (Y/n)'s constant laughter. "You are so annoying! I'm going for a walk!" And he did just that. Scaramouch walked the long way down to the base of the Wangshu Inn.
(Y/n) had stopped laughing, catching her breath. She went to the kitchen area of the Inn, and made some Almond Tofu. Brining up the fresh plate of food, (Y/n) went to the top balcony, and set the plate down on the railing. "Oh Xiao! Get your butt over here!"
"Do you always have to yell when trying to summon me?" Xiao asked, appearing in front of the Almond Tofu plate and started eating. "I specifically told you to summon me with a calm, and not chaotic, way. You always just yell to the point the people at the bottom of the tree can hear you."
"Oh who cares?" (Y/n) asked, leaning against the railing and looked over at her friend. "I always greet my friends like this."
"So that Harbinger is a friend?" Xiao asked, looking over at the girl with a slightly unhappy face. "You should not trust the Fatui Harbingers. You know what they have done to Barbatos in Monstadt."
"I know..." (Y/n) remembered talking to Venti about what had happened to him when his Gnosis was taken away by force. "But Barbatos is doing just fine. He's making the most of his life, and there is nothing wrong with that. I'm just happy that he is enjoying himself in Monstadt."
"You are the God of Energy," Xiao said, continuing to eat the Almond Tofu. He'll admit, (Y/n) has a way with making food. "You really should be careful. If the Cryo Archon is planning on taking all of the Archon's Gnosis, you should be careful. You are part of the 8."
"Yeah," (Y/n) shrugged. "But it's only the 7 that are recognized. The Tsaritsa probably thinks I died or something, since I only met her 300 years ago. Either that, or she thinks I'm just a human."
"You really should be careful, Bia," Xiao said, putting a hand on (Y/n)'s shoulder in a comforting way. "You should be careful. If that Harbinger finds out that you are an Archon, you might have the 11 Harbingers on your tail. You would have to run from your new friend."
"I know Xiao..." (Y/n) sighed. "I know..."
"Where is (Y/n)?" Scaramouche asked Verr Goldet, the receptionist of the Wangshu Inn. He went looking for her after he had gotten back from his walk, but she was not in the same place. He also checked the top balcony, but he wasn't there either.
"Miss (Y/n) is currently on the roof," Verr Goldet said that so casually. "She likes to go up there to think sometimes."
"The roof?!" Scaramouche yelled, not expecting that. He thought she would just be near the lake or something, not the roof of the Wangshu Inn. "It's dangerous up there! Oh my gosh that women is an idiot!!"
"She will be fine," Verr Goldet tried to get the man to calm down, mostly because attention was being drawn to them. "She is up there with one of the Adepti. She will be perfectly fine."
"An Adeptus?" Scaramouche raised an eyebrow. He ran up to the top balcony, and stayed quiet, trying to hear everything that they were saying.
"How have you liked Liyue?" Xiao asked, knowing that it's been a while since (Y/n) had been to Liyue. She was mostly in her own nation, trying to keep the peace between the President and the people. Yeah, not a good president elected into office this year. She was also visiting some of the other Archons, but refused to visit the newest Cryo Archon.
"I like it, it certainly has changed over 50 years," (Y/n) laughed a little, remembering what the Harbor was like 50 years ago. Some of the people she's known are now adults, instead of being little kids flying with kites. "Chef Mao now has a daughter, Madam Ping is older, and a lot of the shops that were here are not here anymore."
"Have you visited Havria's domain?" Xiao asked. "I am sure if she was still here, she'd be the first person seeing you once you entered Liyue's boarders."
"I plan on visiting her once the end of the month comes, when the contract is over," (Y/n) sighed. "I'll have to get a glass jar and fill it with some salt."
"Rex Lapis forbade you from entering the domain, didn't he?" Xiao asked, only knowing a little bit of what had happened. Zhongli didn't want to talk to his Adepti about what had happened to Havria, mostly for the sake of (Y/n). "Have you tried breaking the seals?"
"Not really," (Y/n) sighed. "I just leave the jar of salt there. When I was still in my grieving period, I begged Morax to unlock the seal and let me see her. To let me see her body, but he refused because my emotional state was so bad. I'm kinda glad he didn't let me though. I probably would have taken out my anger on all humans."
"You are terrifying when angry," Xiao chuckled a little. "How close were you two?"
"Close," (Y/n) said, bringing her knees up to her chest. "Very close. I loved her like a sister. I witnessed her death, but I was useless to save her. She didn't want me to hurt her people, but with me not, she died."
"I am sure she loved you like a little sister too," Xiao patted (Y/n)'s head softly. "If you ask me, I think she died happily knowing that you kept your promise in her last dying moments."
"I guess so..." (Y/n) sighed. "I should go back inside. Scaramouch will be back any minute, and I haven't told him about me being Bia, the Energoi Archon."
"Alright," Xiao said, getting off the roof and landed on the railing. "If you need to talk, you can always summon me, but you have to bring Almond Tofu."
(Y/n) laughed, and got off the roof too and landed on the railing as well. "Thanks Xiao."
"There you are," (Y/n) said, finding Scaramouche at the base of the Inn. She sat down at the table he was sitting at, a spare cup of tea for (Y/n). "Why you down here? I thought you'd be looking for me."
"I was, but I gave up and decided to get some food," Scaramouche lied. He didn't want (Y/n) to know that he had listened to her and Xiao's conversation. Part of him wanted to report this information to the other Harbingers or the Tsaritsa, but the other half of him did not want to put (Y/n) at risk. Listening to her talking about losing her sister figure, it hurt him. Just what was this girl doing? "You should eat too. We haven't eaten since breakfast, that was around 7. It's noon."
"Ok mom," (Y/n) said sarcastically, and started drinking some of the tea. "How was you walk?"
"It was fine," Scaramouche just sipped his tea. "Getting away form you was amazing."
"Rude!" (Y/n) laughed. "You are so mean to me."
"Interpret it however you want." Scaramouche just continued to sip his tea.
"Hey Scaramouche, is there anything you wanna do tomorrow?" (Y/n) asked. She wanted to know what entertains this guy. If she knew what he liked, she'll be able to adjust their activities and make the contract in her favor. "You can chose."
"I have heard that there is a god where Qingce Village is. His body is underground. I would like to investigate it," Scaramouche said. He head heard the rumors about Chi, who was a dragon, was struck down by Rex Lapis and was buried. He was curious to know if he could find the bones or anything else from Chi's body. "I am curious to know if the body is still there."
"Somewhat..." (Y/n) thought. She remembered a large orange sphere, but she couldn't remember much about him. That was a fight between him and Rex Lapis. "I heard about it too. I'm curious as well."
"Then we shall head to Qingce Village in the morning," Scaramouche said, and brought over one of the waiters. "Let us eat, then we can spend the rest of the time here planning out our next adventure."
