"Tokoyami-" Hawks turn to his young protege
"You're going patrolling with Crow and Raven tonight, ya hear?"
"Understood-" He nodded
"And you Komei-" He then turned back to the pinkette
"I'm taking you on your first flight-"
Her eyes widened watching the pro hero's sly expression.
'Flight?'

Rooftop
"A-Are you s-sure about this?" Komei stuttered following the pro hero out of the door to the roof of the agency
"It's kinda windy..." She looked over the edge of the building
Wow, they were pretty high up.
"What's a matter?" Hawks turned
"Ya scared chickie??" He teased raising an eyebrow
"NO, I'M NOT!" Komei retaliated
and when she did... the girl quickly slapped a hand over her mouth as Hawks stared at her blinking
'You idiot!!!'
'Screaming at the number three like that!'
'Stupid stupid stupid!!!'
"Humph..." Komei bit her lip nervously evading his gaze
"Here ya go-" He took off his visor offering it to her
"Tonight you have the special honour of being me-" The hero toothily smiled as she hesitated to take it.
"Trust me, once you get up in the sky..." He looked up to the stars
"You'll never want to come down..."
Staring at the yellow tinted visor now held in her hands, she accepted beginning to slowly put them on
"Ah, look at you!" He winked as the girl's heart nearly exploded.
"It suit ya chickie-dee, now come here-" He opened his arms motioning with his fingers to come closer
"Alrighty then, hold on tight-" The pro hero stood behind her, grabbing the girl from underneath her arms. Komei's body was tense when she felt her feet lift off the ground.
"You see? It's not that bad-" He hovered over the spot at least six feet in the air trying to make the pinkette more comfortable
"N-No..." The girl admitted looking through his visor as the wind began to pick up
'So I'm seeing what he sees...'
"Wow." She blushed
Komei watched as Hawks flew them across the city. They weren't that high. Well, for him at least.
He began to point out his favourite places in Kyushu as they proceeded to fly over the sights. Such as his favourite places to go, restaurants, parks and so on.
The pro hero's rambling was enough to distract the girl. The more he talked the more relaxed she felt. Slowly, slowly, Komei began to feel enticed by the nights sky. It was truly... amazing.
"This is... so p-pretty-" The pinkette whispered in awe.
Hawked smiled humming in reply.
Operation recruiting new chicken nugget: Success.

The Next day
"W-What?!?"
"You're leaving me here?!?"
"Once you can handle my feathers chickie, then you'll be able to face me-" Hawks hovered over the pinkette letting his wings flap as she looked up with a face of disapproval
"Besides-" He landed on the ground
"I have a work study to get on, sorry but-"
"You can't have ALL of my attention~" He slyly teased her her cheeks began to flame
'Damnit he knows'
"See ya in a few!" and with that, the pro hero flew off.
Komei dramatically sighed as she sat on the dirt battle field. Looking up, there were about 15 feathers lined across the field.
"Okay, gotta catch some feathers..." She got up getting in position
"Can't be that difficult right?"
WRONGGGG
They...
They were just too fast.
How could she ever keep up?
It was now evening and the pinkette looked like she could've been hit by a truck.
So... tired...
but she had online classes to attend... and continue her provisional license training in Kyushu...
'Oh man...' She laid her head on the coffee table in distress
'Mr.Aizawa wasn't kidding...'
"Are you alright, Komei?"
The girl turned to the familiar voice.
"Tokoyamiiiiiii~~" She comically cried as waterfalls shot out of her eyes leaving the boy in a sudden state of panic
He was holding a mug in his hands wearing a knitted sweater.
Is there anything I may be able to help you with?"
"Mr. Aizawa said my absences would be excused, but I rather not fall behind-" The boy pulled out a chair sitting next to the pinkette as he looked over to the lesson on her computer
"T-Thanks T-Tokoyami-" She sniffled wiping her tears with her sleeve as she sat up
"Why of course-"
...
and from around the corner, a certain winged hero heard the whole thing.
He smiled leaning back against the wall hearing the U.A students speak.
Definitely two heroes in training he was absolutely thrilled about mentoring.

Later that night, Somewhere else...
In a dark alleyway, the winged hero landed scarcely trying to evade the public eye. His attitude quickly changed as he walked through the shadows ultimately reaching his destination. The blonde stopped in front of the rusted door, hands in his pockets watching the raven haired villain lift his back off the brick wall seemingly waiting for his arrival.
"So, did you get the girl?"
"Ehh, I'm working on it-" Hawks replied in a lax manor, half his body shadowed by the darkness
"U.A's has their students on a tight leash especially what happened after Camino-" The winged hero's eyes narrowed
"You, out of all people should know that-" He teased as the scarred villain scoffed in annoyance
'Why the hell is he so hooked on Komei for?' The blonde thought
Hawks had to admit, he was interested in the girl since the sports festival... but he had ulterior motives when Aizawa spoke to him on the phone due to the league.
Learning Dabi's strange obsession with the pinkette, this could be his way in.
He needed them to trust him... to get entail.
The hero figured, if Komei was with him-- knowing where she was at all times... she would be safer. Hence the reason why he lied to the villain about her whereabouts. This was also his way to learn why the flame villain was so infatuated with the girl.
He wasn't the number three just for show.

A few days later
"GAHHH THIS IS UNREAL!!!" Komei spazzed missing every single feather
'I blink and they're gone!!! What the hell!' She laid down on the ground in defeat as the sun's rays were shining down on her
The girl was covered in dirt head to toe, bruises and cuts forming.
"Sleepin' on the job?"
Her eyes snapped open at the voice before she radically began to freak out. There was Hawks hovering over her in the sky, blocking the sunshine.
"Hey now-" He landed on the ground turning to her
"You can do it~" He flashed her a smile before aloofly walking back to the agency
'Hawks said I can do it...' Komei's eyes longed on his figure slowly disappearing
It's as if he lit a fire in her...
'THEN I CAN DO IT!'
"Okay... let's go round two!" She jumped up ready to go, full of adrenaline
This time the girl got closer to the objective. Instead of feeling the intimidation of all fifth teen, Komei focused her attention on one individual feather at a time.
That tactic worked for the most part... She was only a few centimetres away from striking one. Ah ha! Progress.

After extra provisional license training and online classes, the pinkette was completely wiped.
You could say she was definitely going plus ultra this week.
She just finished taking a nice warm shower and boy, did she need that.
Komei went down stairs to get a snack before calling it quits for the night. Too delusional to even function, she forgot her sweat bands on her nightstand exposing her scars.
"How'd you get those chickie?" Hawks came out of the blue grabbing her arm pulling her wrist softly up with a cocked eyebrow in curiosity
The pinkette froze on the spot as a pit dropped in her stomach.
"I-It's n-nnothing!" She snapped her arm out of his grasp trying to hide her scarred wrists underneath her arms
There's only one person he knew that could inflict damage like that...
"Komei-" Hawks' voice deepened and all of a sudden the atmosphere in the room shifted. He was usually very carefree. This was the first time she's ever seen the pro hero so serious before.
His glare was intense, it sent shivers down her spine.
"..."
"I told you it's n-nothing..." She evaded her gaze pouting
The hero rolled his eyes as he stood firmly, wings spread out blocking the hallway.
Komei sighed nervously.
"A-At the training c-camp..." She admitted giving into the intimidation
"The ambush by the league of villains..." The girl turned the other way, unable to face her mentor letting her hair shag over her eyes.
"You saw didn't you?" Her voice trembled
"It makes me s-sick-" She seethed
"Saying I'm like him..."
"And now I look like h-him..." The pinkette shook staring at her wrists unable to stop
Hawks' eyes widened as he watched the broken down girl.
His bird like eyes flickered into rage.
'Dabi did this...' The blonde clenched his fist so tight he almost broke skin.
He hurt his little chickie...
