It's a whole new world to me.. I've never seen this colorful side of the world before..
Izana said that, the festival was nothing like the National day or new year festival, but still there is plenty of things to see..
There were many unique foods and some people did tricks, danced and sang songs...
We also watched a play and cheered for someone who did some magic tricks...
We ate so many street foods and tried some games as well...
We laughed a lot..
How long has it been since I laughed so freely..?
After meeting the prince again, I was nervous and often couldn't sleep well at night... Because I kept thinking, what if I stuck on some trap again... What if I can't change my future.. What if all of that scary things happen again?
What will I do then??
That's why, I started to train really hard to the point that fall asleep the minute I lay down my bed, so that I don't have to think about useless things anymore...
"I'm hungry again.."
Izana said stroking his belly..
"Yes, Me too.."
"Okay, let's eat something delicious.."
Izana tried to go to a restaurant but I shook my head and pointed to the food stalls again...
"I don't have a problem but Are you okay with eating these again?"
"Yes.. As it came out like this, I want to eat dishes that I couldn't usually eat.."
I said happily..
We tried some street food and some traditional foods of the empire.. It was really delicious..
I brought a candy apple for dessert.. It looked quite testy that brought water to my mouth..
But when I tried to eat it, somehow it fell on the ground.. ('△｀)
Oh, that's too bad..! (ó﹏ò｡)
I looked at the dusty candy apple with a look of despair... Looking at me like that, Izana burst into a laughter..
I let it slip because he is my dear friend but then he laughed even harder and louder..
Damn!
Stupid Izana!
"Sorry, It was really cute..!!"
Izana said while brushing off his tears...
"What's cute!!"
"It's like a kid dropping their candy.. You looked like you are about to cry..."
I hurriedly denied but he continued to laugh..
"Why are you so sullen?"
He said barely managed to stop his laughter..
"It's a shame.."
"Come on!! I can buy you a thousand of it, if you want.."
"No, It's just a waste..."
I looked at the poor candy..
Well sometimes if you drop something that you are about to eat, you will experience a mental shock apart from financial damage..
Looking at the large candy that had fallen to the ground with eyes full of regret, I could hear Izana's voice...
"Little Anisha is so cute, what am I gonna do!!"
I looked at his face in surprise..
He was looking at me as if I were really cute..
What a strange person.. No one ever said I'm cute..
"Pfft!! Let's go, I'll buy it for you.."
"I won't eat.."
"Okay okay.. I'll stop teasing you... Come on.. Let's go, okay?"
He said patting my head..
I didn't answered and kept looking at the candy that fell..
Izana brought me ten candy apples.. It's too much for my hands..
After that, we went into a bookstore..
Unlike other places, bookstores were relatively quiet..
The bells chimed happily as we entered..
Such a neat and tidy store.. There are so many books stored beautifully..
Well, I've read most of the educational and informative books, which was displayed there.. So there was nothing new for me to read..
Izana was purchasing some books that his friend wanted..
So I went to the Novel section.. Most of the stories are about love or fairy tales..
Well, if it's the past me, I would've been really interested in it...but not anymore...
Now I don't give a shit about those things...
Love is nothing but an illusion..
I won't fell on that trap twice..
I have missed out a lot of precious things in life.. Because, I walked the path that wasn't meant for me..
As you live your life, there are many times where you may not realize just how many stars there are in the night sky, because it often gets hidden by all kinds of lights and neon sign illuminations...
My past life was like that too.. But now I planned on living a happy life, enjoying the little things I had been missing out...
While I was starting to grow anxious from my thoughts, Izana tapped my shoulder...
"I'm done.. Let's go.."
I only nodded in response and left the bookstore..
Walking the way something caught my eye..
'Wow!! This is quite neat and pretty...'
Silver-rimmed cuff buttons with a blue jewel in the center... I could picture my father wearing them and had no doubt they would look stunning on him...
'Oh, I could give these to him as a gift for letting me go out today... That should make him feel a little better..'
Beside that blue jeweled cuff buttons another one caught my eyes.. Crimson-rimmed cuff buttons with a yellow jewel in the center..
Ah!
That would suit Izana.. 🌼
I turned to the merchant, pointing to the cuff buttons without an ounce of hesitation...
"I would like to buy these, please.."
The merchant then placed the cuff buttons in wooden boxes before handing it to me, completing the transaction..
After receiving that, I turned to Izana and gave him one of the box..
His eyes widened and slowly he took the box...
"For me?!!"
He said with a soft smile..
"Yes! Thank you for the tour today.. I really enjoyed it!! I'm really grateful.."
"Why are you being polite, idiot? We are friends after all.."
"Hehee! Then, Thank you for being my friend.."
"Ayyy! Our Anisha is so cute!!"
"Ugh! Cut it out already..."
"Hahahaaaaa"
"But, dad will like it right? What do you think??"
I asked Izana while looking at the box in my hand..
"Don't worry.. He will love anything you give him.. Even if you give him a stone from road side, I think, he will still love it and frame it.."
Izana broadly smiled and give me a thumbs up..
"Hahahaa... You are really an idiot, Izana.."
"I hear that a lot..."
"Hahahahaaaa"
"Hahahahahaaa"
We smiled at each other and start to walk again..
He guided me around the town and showed me the stores, town square marketplace and public garden.. They were all very loud and colorful.. It was an enjoyable experience.. It seemed to be a very wonderful town.....and I enjoyed it so much..
The festival, foods, plays, games, jokes and laughs, fireworks everything....I enjoyed everything...
I wish I could visit here again..
I enjoyed a lot today..
