Peter was sliding his hand through his hair as he steps out of his room, closing the door as he stepped out. He had his hand in his pocket of the thin sweater he was wearing, holding the black small box in his sweaty hand. Peter turns back looking at Ava's door but he turns away. He felt too annoyed to even look back again and walked down the staircase, already hearing the group's conversation in the living room. Peter stopped when he heard his name pop up in their mouths.
Jessica:How's it going with you and Parker, Rand? Good?
Danny:It's fine
*he spoke casually as he pushed his hair behind his ear*
Luke:Where did you two even go before we met up?
Danny:Oh...he invited me to his uncle's grave
Luke:Not your parents?
Danny:I didn't ask, it's fine that way...not like I have anything nice to say about them
Sam:Hmp, Peter hardly talks about his uncle, what did he told you?
Danny:You know...the usual things that people say about their loved ones
Jessica:Does he not talk about his uncle Mary?
*she asks as she turns towards MJ sitting beside her*
MJ:Hehe...it's a bit complicated, I don't know if I'm being honest. His death was recent so it might still be difficult to talk about but...if he talked about it with Danny then he might be a bit more open with him
*she spoke with a bit of a sad tone and strained smile, Jessica was watching and she turns away then Sam spoke*
Sam:Ah that would make sense. Turns out Peter's crushing on you Danny, how embarrassing
*he said a teasing tone as he pokes Danny's shoulder. Danny blushed while Luke could only roll his eyes*
Luke:Does that mean that Peter didn't like you in the first place? He wasn't after your money was he?
Danny:Well a bit...he was after me for my looks and money but I'm not sure about how he actually feels about me
Trish:Uh what do you think then? He must like you for other reasons than your looks
Sam:True, plus if Petey only liked you for your cash then wouldn't he have asked money constantly already?
Jessica:I haven't heard Peter ask for money from him before so maybe you're right beansprout
Sam:Who are you calling beansprout?!
*he asked as he stood up defensively, he gotten his wrist grabbed and pushed back down on his chair by Luke sitting beside him*
Luke:Well at least Peter's being considerate with your feelings...I hope...you two can-...
*he was pausing his words feeling hesitant to talk*
Danny:What is it Luke?
Luke:I hope you two can...get well together or something
Sam:Aw is Luke giving his blessing to the couple?
Luke:Obviously I'm still against it...but if Peter won't hurt him anymore then I won't say anything to him either
Jessica:How long were you against it anyway? I thought you were fine with both of them together for a while now
Luke:It's just so Danny won't get mad at me anymore, you know how he is about Peter
*he gave a small glance towards Danny who just rolled his eyes as he looks away. Peter was still hiding in the staircase and felt the air turn hot around him*
Peter:(god I shouldn't have stayed and listened, imagine how awkward it will be now)
Jessica:What's taking Peter so long anyway? Is he still taking a nap?
*she asks that made everyone turn towards Danny, Peter blinked and he tightens his fist with the gift box inside his pocket nervously. He cleared his throat as he stepped down from the staircase and attention surfaced on him. A cold sweat ran down his face from the group's surprised expression*
Peter:(they're looking like they just committed a crime...)
*he approaches them as he looks at Danny who instead had a fond smile, he had the sudden urge to smile back and sit beside him*
So what were you guys talking about?
Sam:Huh, about you being a huge sleepy head, how many times have you slept the last few days?! You slept for hours yesterday!
Peter:How do you know if you were in your room the whole time? You were too mad to get out of the room!
Sam:U-uh...I just came down for a small snack and happen to see you two sleeping yesterday
*he quickly answered as he crosses his arms with a nervous expression*
Peter:Sure sure
*he rests his arm over Danny's shoulder and gotten a small chill from him*
Are you cold Danny?
Danny:I'm not...why do you say that?
Peter:Just asking since I felt a small chill by touching you...even your clothes are cold, did you step inside a freezer?
*he spoke as he cups Danny's face with his hands, instantly freezing his hands then it felt warm with Danny's red blush*
Danny:Heh I'm fine Peter, I just feel a bit cold right now
Peter:Cold? You don't even get cold though...
*Danny places his hands over Peter's as they were still cupping his face*
Danny:I'm fine I promise, I'll feel warm if you're with me
Peter:...ah?
(How can you say something so cheesy like that without looking embarrassed? With Aunt May in the kitchen and the others giving us eagle eyes...it must be nice that you're handsome)
*his face was red as he removed his hands from Danny's cheeks and quickly shoved them inside his pockets*
O-okay...so why are you here Jessica?
*he stuttered nervously as he asks towards Jessica who blinked out of her trance by staring at them*
Jessica:Me and Trish came since Dorothy doesn't celebrate Christmas and we had nothing to do
Sam:Why doesn't she celebrate Christmas again?
Jessica:Don't know. She just doesn't like the holiday for some reason
Trish:Yes and the house has been a bit empty so we came...
Jessica:Yeah, Mary invited us so I wanted to take up on her offer and come over to bother you guys
Sam:I feel like that's the only reason why you're still around us
Jessica:Obviously. Annoying you guys has been a fun hobby and sport for me
A young red headed girl by the name of Kristy Watson, had awkwardly approached them from the kitchen as May and MJ's family were placing served plates on the dining table. MJ looks at her from the couch and forms a wide smile and opened her arms out like she was asking for a hug.
MJ:Kristy! Come here!
All attention were on her which had made her feel embarrassed and her face going dark. Her face began to get a deeper shade of red when she notices Peter who was also curiously looking at her. She bit her lip as she approaches to MJ and MJ gave her a huge hug that made the others smile.
MJ:How my little cousin doing? You're not bored are you?
Kristy:Le-let go of me already MJ! I'm not a little kid anymore...I don't like hugs like this
MJ:Hm? You don't? We haven't seen each other for so long and this is your first Christmas with us without your parents...I can't believe a trip is more important than this
Kristy:L-let go!
*she moved around to break free from MJ's hug but she gave up when she sees Peter again and turns away. Peter notices this and looks at Danny confused and began to look at his outfit if anything was off*
MJ:Mnnggg, fine. What's up?
*she asks as she freed Kristy and sees Kristy begin to nervously fidget with her fingers*
Kristy:W-well food is...ready now...so you should...wash your hands already
Luke:Let's go guys, I'm hungry already
Jessica:Fine, come on Trish
*they all began to get out of their seats and began to walk towards the staircase as Kristy watched*
She was staring at Peter who was looking with Danny behind the others with a smile. Kristy decided to walk after them but stops when she receives a cold and threatening glare by Danny before he walked up the staircase, still following close with Peter. She gulped with her skin turning cold as she tightens her fist, Kristy quickly walks back to the dining table where her sick aunt was sitting in. Her aunt notices her sitting beside her and she faintly smiled.
"Is something wrong Kristy? Is Mary leaving you out?"
*she asks as she places her hand on Kristy's head, caressing her hair*
Kristy:She's just...so embarrassing, why doesn't mom and dad stay here with me? They go on too many trips...
"They...they go on trips because that's their jobs, they need to get money by going on business trips so they can take care of you...you have us to be with so you wouldn't be alone when they're gone"
Kristy:...I still kind of wish I went with them on one trip at least...
*she sadly spoke as she looks down to her plate on the table in front of her. MJ's mom didn't say anythjng from not having another sentence to say towards Kristy*
The teenagers were pushing each other in the bathroom fighting for the sink, Peter managed to get out as Danny was waiting outside and had already washed his hands. Peter glared at the group and he looks over at Danny, he had his direction down the hallway and was most likely looking at Ava's door. Peter slowly stood beside him and calmly bumps shoulders with him, instantly grabbing his attention.
Peter:If you want to talk with Ava then you should do it now...I don't know how long we'll be downstairs for
Danny slowly nodded with a small smile as he walks in front of Ava's door and began to knock. The door slowly creaked open and an arm had went out and grabs Danny's collar. Pushing him inside the room and instantly closing the door while Peter nervously laughed to himself. The others began to walk out of the bathroom and turns to Peter.
Luke:Where's Danny?
Peter:He's talking with Ava, he'll be downstairs in a minute
*he forms a small smile as Luke glares at him, he turns towards the staircase as he spoke*
Luke:Let's go down already guys
*everyone cleared their throat as they followed Luke down the stairs, Peter's smile fades and lets out a small sigh before he slowly followed behind them*
Danny had his back against the door with Ava's hand clenching at his thin sweater, pining him back. Danny kept his calm posture and grabs Ava's wrist as she kept tightening her grip on his sweater tighter with heavy breathing.
Danny:Ava...why are you-
Ava:Why? Why did you want to bother me? Didn't Parker told you already to leave me alone?
Danny:He did but he wanted me to-
Ava:I'm telling you the same thing that I told Peter...I'm fine and I don't want any of you to keep bothering me
Danny:Ava...is something wrong? Did something happen between you and your mom?
Ava:*she was silent as her upper lip trembled, Danny had removed Ava's hand from grabbing his shirt, he was holding her wrist and he spoke*
Danny:Ava, you should head back...
Ava:Head back where? They'll just kick me out again...
Danny:(her mom kicked her out? Why? She was accepting of Ava's amulet and having to stay low right? She looks like she was fine with everything...)
I don't know what you and your mom had talked about today but you should go back and try to explain things clearly...is it about your amulet again?
Ava:What else would it be about? They don't like the amulet...I remind them too much of my dad, why did you think they kicked me out for?
Danny:Ava listen, the amulet is-
Ava:Shut up...you took it away from me, you have it and I don't want it...for sure I don't
Danny:What...why don't you want it anymore? It belonged to your dad
Ava:That's why! That's the exact reason why I don't want it! I dealt with enough with the amulet...my mom had dealt with enough. They kicked me out because of how I am because of the damn amulet and that stupid god...just take it back
Danny:Back...? Back where?
Ava:To K'un L'un...just keep it away from me. I don't need it anymore...I don't want my mom to keep worrying about me and being reminded of my dad
Danny:Ava listen to me. If I take it back to K'un L'un then what about SHIELD? What about your costume and everything that you worked hard for? Why are you throwing everything away?
*his tone was louder as his spoke, Ava was silent with her head still hanging low, refusing to look at him in the eye to see his confused expression. Ava was silent until she finally spoke*
Ava:I'm quitting...I decided to leave SHIELD, and give up the costume
Danny was baffled.
Ava was leaving. Is it because of the amulet? It must be because of how badly the amulet affected her. Danny freed her wrist and now had an expressionless expression. He didn't know what to say.
Ava:You'll take the amulet away right? I don't need it anymore Danny...I'm...
*she tilted her head up as she slowly spoke but stopped in hesitation, Ava quickly turns away again when she first saw Danny's cold expression*
Danny:Okay...I understand. Does Peter know?
Ava:Yes...he didn't accept it easily as suspected
Danny:(I knew he wouldn't have...)
Okay...if that's what you want then I can't force you to join back, but...go see your mom and explain how you're done with the amulet...she doesn't need to worry about it anymore
Ava:...I will
Ava stepped back as she rubs her arm nervously, Danny grabs the door knob and turns it for the door to open. He steps out and he turns back and spoke.
Danny:Does the others know about you leaving?
Ava:...Peter told me that Fury didn't notified him, I'm guessing he didn't notified the others as well
Danny:(that's a bit weird, shouldn't Fury tell us that she quit the team?)
Ava:So yes...please tell them, I will decided whether or not I should stay here or move back with my mom
Danny:Okay Ava...we'll be waiting downstairs
*he forms a small warm smile towards Ava as she stared wide eyed. Danny closes the door behind him before he walked down the hall and heading down the stairsteps with his smile disappearing. He looks at the wild dining table and recieved eye contact with Peter, Danny forms his warm smile again as he approaches them*
Luke:Hey Danny, what took you so long?
Danny:I was having a small talk with Ava...she'll come down soon
*he spoke while he sat on his chair beside Peter, Aunt May spoke next*
Aunt May:How is she feeling? She haven't came down at all today
Danny:She's fine...she's going to get ready to come downstairs
*Aunt May slowly nodded and continued to speak with her friend May and MJ's mother*
Jessica:Tell the truth Rand, how is she holding up?
Danny:Honestly...she looked a bit awful when I saw her today
Sam:Obviously. Did you expect she would look like Emma Watson?
*he spoke before he took a bite from his food while Trish let out a small giggle*
Luke:What did you two talk about?
Danny:Nothing...too serious
*he spoke dragging off his sentence with short glances at Trish and MJ, they understood that it was personal second personas business so they nodded*
Peter:Hey Danny, when we're done can we talk privately?
Peter asks as Danny smiled with a nod. He could see Peter's nervous and anxious expression and he continued to eat . He looks up and notices Kristy staring at him as she sat beside MJ's mom. It looked more like she was staring at someone beside him and he notices that she was looking at Peter. Kristy sees Danny's cold eyes piercing through her that she quickly looks away with embarrassed blush on her cheeks.
They all looked at the staircase when they heard creaks coming down the stairsteps. Ava had stepped down her last step and had a warm grey jacket. She looks away from seeing both Peter's expression with suspicion and Danny's usual expression. Aunt May spoke first*
Aunt May:Are you here to eat with us Ava?
Ava:Sorry Mrs.Parker but...I'm heading back home with my mom and sister, they're probably waiting for me...
Aunt May:I see dear...let me give you a bag of food that I cooked today so you can eat it along with your mom
Ava:*she smiled faintly and nodded. Aunt May was already off of her chair to enter the kitchen and place food inside a plastic bag, Ava waited at the end of the staircase avoiding eye contact with her ex team members*
Sam:Ava! How are you feeling now?
*he was excited to see Ava, that it nearly made him jump off his chair. Ava blinked once before answering*
Ava:I'm fine
Sam:Hmm, what did you and Danny talked about?
Ava:Nothing important
MJ:Don't you want to eat with us for a short while Ava? It'll be hard to visit your family in the cold today
Ava:I know that...it's just...I feel like I should go quickly and maybe stay over the night and celebrate Christmas with my mom
Danny:She'll be fine guys, she'll come back home tomorrow
*he began to eat after he spoke. Peter looks away from Ava with a small pout and Aunt May walks towards Ava and hands her a plastic bag with containers of food inside*
Aunt May:Here dear, make sure to tell your mom that she can just warm up the food that I just gave you
Ava:I will
*she said softly as she smiled and looks at the group in the table*
I'll call one of you guys tomorrow to pick me up...bye
Sam:Bye Ava!
*he and the others waved as she walks out of the house, Jessica just placed her fork down on her plate*
Jessica:Wouldn't it take a few hours for her to go to her mom's place? I'm sure the trains are full and will take a while for her to get home
Sam:That's true...why won't you drive her home then? Since none of us here have a car
*Jessica was silent and she stood up*
Jessica:Okay, I'll drive her home
Trish:Uh Jessica...
Jessica:I'll come back Trish, it's only a half an hour ride to her place...if it's fine with me to excuse myself Mrs.Parker
Aunt May:It's alright Jessica, Ava must still be outside so make sure to wear a sweater
Jessica:I will
*she spoke with a small smile then walked out of the house as she took out her car keys from jnside her pocket. She closes the door behind her and was now standing on the porch. Ava was on the stone snow filled sidewalk and turns towards Jessica; who had now walked down the small stair steps*
Come on. I'll drive you so you won't end up freezing to death out here
Ava was silent but approaches Jessica and her car with her usual calm expression. Jessica began to start the car as Ava sat on the passenger's seat and the car began to move.
About 20 minutes has passed when Jessica and Ava were gone and the group had finished eating. Danny was done helping by cleaning the table with Sam and MJ, Trish and Luke were talking casually on the couch while Danny looks around. Not seeing Peter in the room. He asks towards MJ and Sam calmly.
Danny:Where's Peter? He wanted to talk to me when we were done eating
Sam:Oh Peter? I think I saw him go upstairs...maybe he went up to pee or something
MJ:Haha, he's probably on the porch outside...what were you two going to talk about?
Danny:I don't know, he wanted to talk to me privately...thanks for telling me where he is
*he gave them a closed smile before he walks towards the door that led to outside. MJ stares at Danny leaving out the door and turns away, Sam could already see the dark aura around her*
Once Danny closes the door behind her he could already see Peter in front of him; his body leaning forward to the porch and his arms resting on the wooden porch. Peter was quiet and didn't seem to notice Danny was behind him. He was deep in thought until he felt a pair of arms wrap around him from behind and a chin resting on his shoulder.
Danny:Hey love, why are you out here in the cold alone? You'll get sick again...
Peter:Hey Danny...I was just thinking about something
Danny:You did looked focused about something, what is it?
*he asks with a soft tone as he removed his arms from Peter and stood beside him with his arm resting on the porch as well; his attention still on Peter*
Peter:You talked with Ava didn't you? Did she tell you anything?
Danny:She did...she decided to leave the team, she told me that you know about it
Peter:I do, I just found out a while ago and couldn't tell the rest of you since MJ and my aunt was there
Danny:Same here...it's still hard to believe that Ava would leave so suddenly like this
Peter:I know. I was suspicious of it but she wouldn't tell me other than she quit SHIELD and Fury didn't told us...it's a bit weird why he wouldn't tell us
Danny:Is that why you left to SHIELD today?
Peter:I wanted to talk to the eye patch to clarify if what Ava said was true or not. He said it was but said she'll come back to the team soon and we should wait
Danny:What did he mean by that?
Peter:I don't know...he's making it look like leaving SHIELD is as easy as sending a text... Anyway, Ava will be alright if she takes time away from SHIELD and her amulet and just enjoy time with her family
Danny:About the amulet...she wants me to take it back to K'un L'un
Peter:Wha- why?
*he asks as he turns his head to face Danny*
Danny:The amulet came from K'un L'un and was robbed decades ago...the Elders and my master don't know alot about the amulet
Peter:...she's really thinking of going clean without powers and SHIELD...I can't help but feel amazed about her being the first to leave the group
Danny:Did...you also visit Harry?
Peter:*he was silent and he slowly nodded with hesitance*
He looked awful. He couldn't even breath for a short amount of time before scientists and Agent Carter had rushed in
Danny:...did Harry looked aggressive when you first saw him?
Peter:Yes. I think he's being forced to breath in gas that has been placed inside his cell...I know Fury wouldn't tell me the truth if I even bring it up
(Why should I bother with Harry again? He hates me now that he knows about me being Spiderman)
Danny:...how do you know it's gas?
Peter:I saw some gas particles and smoke inside his cell. He just suddenly have trouble breathing...
Danny:Did you see marks on his neck?
Peter:I did! They were popping up after Harry was breathing in the gas inside his cell...I don't know what they're trying to do with him
Danny:Although it does look bad, I can only assume that Fury is trying to help Harry
Peter:By making him breath in gas that is making him choke...sure, how helpful of him
*he spoke sarcastically as he places his elbow against the porch and rests his chin on his hand*
Do you...think you'll stay in SHIELD with the others?
Danny:Maybe. I don't know if I have a choice to leave or not, Ward did sign me up there for a reason...
Peter:(ay ay ay, I guess I wouldn't be surprised that you would still stay in SHIELD, I wonder how you'll act when I say that I plan on leaving soon...)
Hey Danny...I...
(God what's wrong with me?! It's just a few words! Why am I so scared to see his reaction?!)
U-uh...why do you like me anyway Danny?
Danny:Hm? Why are you bringing it up so suddenly?
Peter:I don't know. Why are you asking that instead of answering? It can't be that hard to answer right?
(God why did I ask that? It's even more embarrassing)
*he secretly panicked as he kept a calm expression on his face and was facing Danny, Danny looked silent and forms a small smile*
Danny:There are a lot reasons why I like you, do you want to hear them?
Peter:Just a few...what are they?
Danny:One reason is that you're pretty
Peter:I am?
Danny:You are, I tell you that all the time
*he rests his cheek on Peter's shoulder and Peter forms a small scoff*
Peter:No you don't...anything else?
Danny:You're selfless and helpful towards others...and how cute and smart you are
Peter:Ha ha...
(Why am I not surprised to hear that? I'm not-...what made him think that anyway?)
*he was quiet and had a sullen expression, he then blinked in realizing the small box in his pocket*
Oh right. I basically called you out here for another reason than Harry and Ava
Danny:What is it love?
*he asks with a gentle tone while he removed his cheek resting on Peter's shoulder*
Peter:Uh...I got you something, it's a small gift so maybe you won't wear it as often
*he spoke full of shakiness in his tone as he took out a small box from his pocket and hands it to Danny, with his head bowed down embarrassed. He retracted his hand when he felt the box lift off of his hand and he couldn't help but look up to Danny's reddened expression while looking at the box*
Danny:Peter...are you proposing?
Peter:Eh? N-no! Wh-why would I do that three weeks in the relationship?! Plus I'm not planning on marriage anyway so...! Uh just open it...
*he rests his hand on his forehead as he turns forward, Danny listened and opened the small box with his heart thumling loudly*
His eyes began to glow and widened a bit when he saw a watch with a thicker black strap with a silver case around the small clock unlike Peter's that was thinner and gold. Danny felt his lips slightly curve upwards into a warm smile when he removed the watch from its case and looks at it closely.
Danny:Did you get matching watches for us to wear?
Peter:...yeah, it's cheesy I know
*he quickly spoke; his face full of embarrassment while not looking at Danny*
Danny:It is cheesy, even I haven't thought of this yet
Peter:That's a huge lie! I know you thought of it!
*he spoke loudly while pointing his finger at Danny; who still kept his smile*
Danny:I really haven't thought of this yet love...is there a reason why you chose for us to wear matching watches?
Peter:*he was silent and he glued his lips together as his entire face went red and he turns away*
S-so what?! You don't want the present? Then I'll happily return it back to the place that I bought it from!
Danny:Haha you don't have to do that love...I like it
*he spoke low at the last sentence as he looks down to the watch, Peter felt speechless when he looks at him*
Did you use your actual money on this watch?
Peter:Obviously I did
Danny:You should have asked me for money
Peter:That'll be uncomfortable for you. I don't want to keep asking you for money
Danny:Isn't that why you wanted to date me? For money?
Peter:(ahh I guess I did said that...everything's becoming a blur to me now)
I only said that to see your reaction, I wasn't serious
Danny:Hehe I'm glad Peter
Peter:Yeah...whatever though

Danny:Since you bought it for me then can you put it on for me?
Peter:Oh....yeah okay
*he was embarrassed to look at Danny in the eyes so he nervously puts on Danny's watch on his right wrist. When he was done he felt Danny wrap his arms around him into a hug that was both tender and calming, it made him take a deep breath from the warm interaction*
Danny:Thanks love...I'll always wear it
*his tone was smooth but still deep, Peter blushed again as he hugs him back and felt Danny trembling*
Peter:Danny...are you cold?
Danny:I am
Peter:(what? Why is he feeling cold recently? He wouldn't feel it thanks to the glorious city in the mountains)
Do you want to head back inside? I wouldn't want you to have a cold since I just stopped getting sick a few days ago
*he pulled away from the hug and spoke towards Danny with a worried tone*
Danny:Yeah...thanks love
*he had a affectionate smile and wraps his arms around Peter's neck*
Peter flinches when Danny leans in and places his lips on his. Peter was wide eyed from the kiss of Danny's cold lips, he felt the cold breeze rush past him when Danny pulled back and had a bright smile on his face when he hugged him again.
Danny:I really like you...
Peter:Ah you do? Then where's my present?
Danny:I...I already gave it to you sweetie
*he kisses Peter's cheek and forms a small grin*
Is that enough?
Peter:As if! I wasted my money for your present and you won't even get me anything...what's the point of owning a company then?
Danny:Sorry love, I'll buy you more gifts later to make up for today
*he started to repeatedly kiss Peter's cheek as Peter blushed and rolled his eyes*
Peter:Fine...not like I wanted you to waste your money, let's get inside already before you start sucking my cheek off
Danny quickly nods and steps back from Peter. Right when Peter grabs the door knob Danny spoke with curiosity.
Danny:Why did you bought us matching watches? You could have picked matching sweaters, or clothes...is a watch supposed to mean something?
Peter:You already bought matching scarves a while ago, why can't I pick a watch?
Danny:I know that but isn't a watch a bit expensive? How did you manage to afford them?
Peter:Don't poor shame me Danny, I just thought that watches would look good on you...
Danny:It looks good on you too love
Peter:...thanks
*he said with a low mumble before he opened the door and both had walked in the warm living room where the others were*

The car ride between Ava and Jessica was silent with the only sound between them is the car heater. Jessica gazes at Ava who was looking out the foggy window, Jessica looks forward and spoke.
Jessica:Why do you want to see your mom right now? You should have waited till tomorrow
Ava:I just want to talk to her and see her
Jessica:Why? Did you get in an argument?
Ava:No...not really...
*she looks down to her lap and tightens her fist with the bag, she was starting to get anxious since they were turning the corner to Ava's house*

*she couldn't form a complete sentence when the car stopped and she looks up. She saw her house in front of her passenger window, she began to look hesitant*
Jessica:Hey, it's still a bit early before Christmas is over today. You should get inside and eat with your mom and siblings...they're probably waiting for you
Ava:Okay...bye Jessica
Jessica:Bye bye
*she spoke in a low childlike tone as Ava gotten off from the car. She watches Ava walk down the stone pathway that led to the porch; she starts her car again and began to quickly drive off*
Ava let out a deep breath that exited her mouth and she grabs the cold door knob. She turns it and she steps inside. She called out 'Mami' that sounded like an echo in the first floor. Ava closes the door and steps into the living room. The house was completely silent so she called again for her mom, 'Mami!'. No answer.
Ava peaks her head into the kitchen but it was empty, it was clean as always but the food on the dining table was still hot and the sink was empty with clean dishes beside it. She notices that something was wrong. Ava was frantically calling for her mom and sister, even her brother as she was looking in every room past the kitchen and in the first floor.
'MAMI! ¿Donde estas?!' she called out again as she ran up the stairs, she was about to trip but managed to push herself up despite the red marking on the palm of her hands by the stairs.
She stops at the top of the stairs and was breathing heavily in a panicked tone. She was fearing for the worse as she remained holding the bag tight in her hand. Her throat was getting clogged from heavy breathing and her heart beating loudly through her ears. She kept calling for a response but her tone was shaky that it sounded off key.
Ava's heart dropped codly.
Blood was leaking under the door of her room.
Ava was holding back any tears as she ran towards her room door, her arm trembling to open it. She was still calling for her mom as she opens the door. Her blood ran cold and the bag slid off her hands and fell on the puddly of blood, making the tops of the boxed food pop out and food spilling out.
Ava saw her sister, Awilda, lying in her own blood on the floor beside her bed.
She was filled with empty thoughts and when she slowly turned her head she saw her mom and her grandmother. They were both laying on their own blood in front of her wide opened closet. Her brother and her aunt's bodies was near the window that was only slightly opened, as if they were trying to jump out before they were attacked.
Ava was dumbfounded and she fell to her knees, hands still shaking terribly. Her skin was heavily pale with her eyes wanting to pop out, she reaches her shaking hand towards Awilda and draws it back from feeling her cold skin.
'Awilda? W-wake up...thi-this isn't- why...?'
She quickly crawed over to her mom and grandmother and she reaches towards her hand towards her mom's face, tryjng to touch her cheek.
'Mami...despierta...wake up, why won't you...? MAMI! Wake up!'
She began to shake her mom's corpse and she began to let out ugly sobs while still desperately calling for her.
'You're all I have left why won't you wake up...? Why....WHY ME?! SHIT! You're not gone! Don't leave me too...'
She was yelling and cursing as she repeatedly punched her fists into the ground furiously with tears running down her cheeks. She just felt her entire world crashing down as she sobbed and began to let out a loud wail.
'Mami...MAMI! POR QUE?! Why....! Awilda...Fillipo...tia...why did you all had to...why?! Ay mami....!'
*she was crying helplessy as she tightens her hand with her mom's cold hand, she kept calling out for her mom as she laid her head on her mom's body, making her tears soak in her clothing*
'Mami...why won't you wake up? I came back home...'
Then suddenly three shots came out.
Making her vision to go black.
She wasn't going to have a nice dinner with her family anymore.
