"Hmm, it seems like your body is taking well to these new stitches. I'll have to continue to use them." Dr Jaehyun hummed to himself as he wrote on his clipboard.
"Oppa, it's helping me recover much faster." She excitedly smiled up at him earning a chuckle from the male. He tapped his pen lightly on the board in concentration.
"Unfortunately your strength still hasn't returned, we'll have to start you on physiotherapy as soon as possible, we don't want your body to forget it's own movements and balance." He nodded seriously as he continued to write.
She sighed sadly and nodded slightly. Unfortunately it really was true, she could barely move a muscle. Her hands and legs were extremely weak and she was losing muscle rapidly. But being the optimistic girl she was she was determined to get better.
"Oppa, even if I have to be in a wheelchair for the rest of my life, I'm just happy to still be able to enjoy things even without using my legs." She smiled up at him. Her older brother truly didn't deserve such a sweet sister like her. He asked himself everyday why did a girl as kind, caring and sweet as her have to be taken away. A girl her age should be out with friends, finding love and living life to its fullest. But she was stuck here, in this stuffy hospital just waiting til day she wouldn't be able to function anymore. He gripped his clipboard tightly unknowingly.
"Oppa, you seem more tired lately." She frowned looking up at him concerned breaking him from his thoughts. She noticed the dark circles under his eyes and hazy gaze.
"Oh I've just got lots of new patients recently, it's a hard job Hana." He chuckled and ruffled her hair gently. He lied, he had been staying up for nights in the labs with other doctors and working with others overseas to help discover a cure for this rare disease that she and hundreds of others had. He worked tirelessly everyday and was determined to do anything to help his little sister. He had to.
"Alright, I'll get Sena to come in and then we can start working on your physio okay little flower?" He got up from his seat and pulled her in to kiss the top of her head gently.
"Okay Oppa." She softly said, smiling up at him. "Come visit me more okay? I miss you.." she pouted earning a chuckle from him.
"Are you sure you miss me with all your new boyfriends?" He teased smirking widely at her and she scoffed, blushing. He knew she wasn't able to throw a pillow at him this time but he couldn't help but tease her regardless. "Love you!" He shouted before leaving, she laughed and shouted back too.
"Love you too!" Knowing he heard her from the hallway.
Sena entered her room shortly after. "Alright, let's get you up and ready young lady." She wheeled her chair in and got her ready to start her long Physio sessions.

"Sena just said Hana is going to start physio today." Namjoon explained to the boys while he looked at his messages. Sena updates him on the regular about Hana's progress, he was very thankful for it. They were all taking a rest from dancing, except for Jungkook who only watched.
Yesterday he tried to be a hero and lift Hana from her bed but ended up straining his wrist again. He thought he could do it easily regardless. He hadn't worn a sling when he saw her to not cause a fuss, he didn't want her to worry. After the visit with Hana he dropped by to see Dr Jaehyun before they left.
Unfortunately for him he had heard quite a mouthful from Jaehyun for doing something he wasn't supposed to, but he was thanked in the end for wanting to help Hana out. Sadly, he had to listen to his doctor and he wouldn't be off his sling for a while.
"Sorry hyungs, I promise not to be so careless next time." Jungkook voiced, the older members giving a stern look of approval.
"Try not to be a hero next time Kook, ask one of us to help." Hobi said, leaving jungkook to nod.
"I was there but, I apologize too, I forgot about Kooks wrist." Taehyung confessed, rubbing the back of his neck guiltily.
"It's alright, just don't do it again okay?" Jin spoke and patted Jungkook on the shoulder. "And Tae, we need to always watch out for each other." Taehyung nodded.
Manager Sejin then walked into the room, the boys getting up to bow to greet him. "I have good news but maybe it's something you're not too happy with." Sejin spoke, it was so ambiguous, all of them were confused.
"In September you'll have to start prepping for your world tour for next year. The first concerts will be held in Seoul in December to kick start the tour, you'll have a break in November and January, and then you resume again in February in Japan."
"Wait but that means—" Taehyung spoke, but Sejin cut him off.
"Yes, unfortunately that means all of you will be very busy and probably won't be able to see Hana as much." Sejin sighs. He knew the boys wouldn't be happy with this news but this was the type of life they signed up for. "I'll see if I can do something but PD nim is still set on the dates. Please enjoy the rest of the summer til then." Sejin concluded and the others just bowed back respectfully, thanking him.
The boys were thoroughly unhappy with this but this was their job. With solemn faces they all thought about the circumstance, this only gave them little to no time with Hana.
"Hyung do you think we can possibly convince PD nim to postpone the dates a little?" Jungkook asked, pleading to be exact to Namjoon, but alas, Namjoon just shook his head.
"Sejin hyung said, he'd try but the dates have been set." He sighed and laid back on the floor, flopping an arm over his eyes. Namjoon wished too that he could do something about it but it was difficult to delay concert dates when multiple things have been planned for the exact date, it wasn't easy to postpone it. They all knew this.
"I'm going to work my hardest to make sure I can spend more time with Hana then." Jimin got up with resolve, Taehyung following suit.
"Yeah, you're right. For Hana." Jin got up and the rest followed, Namjoon the last. They placed their fingers together in a group cheer like what they do before their concerts to psych themselves up.
"Let's do our best for Hana, okay?" Namjoon announced, all of them nodding their heads in agreement.
"Bangtan!" They all shouted together.
For the rest of the week and a half, they worked really hard, from practicing the choreographs, voice training, photo shoots, publicity, they asked Sejin to cram it all within the following week.
Hana too was giving it her all, focusing on her physio and improving at a rapid rate. She was determined to return back to normal, she wouldn't let her ailments get the best of her.
By the middle of the following week, the Bangtan boys were thoroughly exhausted. They had done probably nearly as much when they were trainees and it was extremely tiresome. They collapsed on themselves but earned them two weeks of more relaxed schedules, and more off days for everyone. It was worth it.
Hana was nearly able to walk again, she could move her arms and lift things up again but it was still a struggle. She heard a familiar 'ding' which indicated a message on her phone, checking, she saw a message from Taehyung.
Taehyung: Hi Hana! Hope you are recovering well, I really miss you. Is it okay if I stop by tomorrow? I have a surprise for you that would cheer you up! 😬💜
Hana couldn't help but chuckle at his strange choice of emoji but it suited him well, she could finally text back with ease, her fingers now worked again.
Hana: Hi Tae Tae ! I miss you too ! Of course it's okay for you to come visit me, I can't wait for the surprise I wonder what it is.. 🤔 oh but don't tell me!
Taehyung: heeheehee you will love it for sure. Jin hyung made mandu tonight, I promised him I'd bring some for you tomorrow. Look forward to it 😬✨
Hana: I can't wait! 🥰 goodnight Tae, see you tomorrow
Taehyung: sweet dreams princess 😘 Dream about turtles and elephants 💜
Hana was thoroughly confused but broke out into a fit of laughter, she could never understand Taehyung but that was the charm of the boy, he was so cute and unexpected it made her laugh.
Hana: hope you dream about turtles and elephants too Tae! 💜
Taehyung grinned widely on his end, foundering about in happiness on his bed before he put his phone away and slept peacefully.
