~Jessie's P.O.V.~

        "Hey Jessie? Jessie!"

        "Five more minutes.." I mumbled.

"Hey, be glad we did not take that stupid alarm clock with us," reminded Lexi.

"True," I yawned and sat up.

"I'll wait for ya outside," Lexi said before flying out of the room. I stretched my arms and opened my new walk in closet. To be honest, this is kinda the room I've always wanted. Father never let me paint the walls, and it's such a coincidence that light blue is my fav color. I pulled out another white dress shirt, a more brighter purple plaid skirt, and tied my favorite crystal blue tie.  I put on my my golden locket that was still resting on the nightstand and put the white clip into my skirt's pocket.  I quickly brushed my hair and looked into the mirror.  When I was sure I was fine, I put on my black knee high socks and exitted the room.  Sting was already eating cereal.  He was wearing a men's white dress shirt, black dress pants, and a dark blue plaid tie.  He was wearing black socks, and his spiky blond hair was messier than usual.

"Morning," he greeted, his mouth full of cereal.

"Morning," I chuckled and sat down.  Lexi handed me a granola bar and I gulped it down in one bite.  When I stood up to throw the wrapper away, Sting looked at me wide eyed.  "What?  Do I have crumbs on my face?" I asked, checking my face for crumbs.

"No, that was just fast.." Sting said slowly  I rolled my eyes.

"Don't want to be late to school," I said.  That should be obvious right?  "Oh, and by the way, you need to comb your hair."  Sting dropped his spoon and let his hand run through his hair.

"Crap you're right!" he said, running back to his room.  I smiled.  He's not that organized is he?

"Jeez, how did he ever live alone?" sweatdropped Lexi.

"He's not alone," said Lector, who was rubbing his eyes.  "I remind him that everyday."  He yawned.  "But thanks for telling him."

"No problem," I grinned and ruffled his fur.  After locating the trash can, I started packing my bag for school today.  By the time I finished, Sting came out of his room.

"There, all better," he sighed happily and sat back down on the table.

"You realize that it's time to go right?" I asked.  His eyes widened in alarm and he glanced at the clock on the wall.  He then scowled at me.

"Don't alarm me like that!" he whined.

"I'm not..?" I said in confusion.  Calculating the distance between here and Saber Academy, it should take just ten minutes to walk to the school.

"What?  You just walk to school?" asked Sting.

        "Um, yeah."

        "Well...there's a bus for us.."  Seriously?  A bus?  T_T'

"The school's just ten minutes away.." I said slowly.

"Eh, well, you're taking the bus today," smirked Sting, getting up.  He took his bag and took ahold of my arm.

        "Wha, hey--"

"Bye Lector, take care of Lex for Jessie!" yelled Sting, dragging me towards the door.

"Oi, only I get to call her Lex!" I huffed as he pulled me all the way to the elevator.  He finally let go after he pressed the button for the ground floor.

"Jeez, what was that for?" I asked as I rubbed my wrist.

"Well, you said it yourself, we'll be late!" he smirked, making me scowl at him.  The elevator dinged and we got out.

"Ah, morning Jessie," greeted Grandfather.  "I should believe that Sting was nice to you?"  A sly smile creeped onto my lips as I looked at Sting.  He furiously shook his head in fear.  Be nice Jessie, or else you won't have a place to stay tomorrow.

"Yeah, he was nice," I shrugged.  Grandfather gave Sting a glare before nodding.

"Alright, well, have a good day at school!"

"Will do Grandfather," I said as we exitted the building.  The bus was already waiting for us.  Wait, already waiting for us?

"You're late, again," growled the bus driver to Sting as he boarded, but he didn't care.

"Hi to you too bus driver!" smirked Sting as he walked up the stairs.  Late?!

"Sumimasen for being late!" I apologized.  The bus driver sighed and gave me a thin smile.

"You must be new yes?  Well, thanks for atleast apologizing," said the bus driver.

"I promise I won't be late next time sir!" I said.  He nodded and gestured for me to keep walking.  That's when I realized that there were already people on the bus.  They were whispering and giggling at me.  The boys were looking at me with googly eyes while the girls scowled at me, well, all except one.  "Yukino!" I smiled and sat next to her.

        "Hi Jessie-san," she greeted.

        "You live in Saber Cavern?"

"Yeah, I'm the only girl living there.  What are you doing here?"

"I, um, needed a place to live and I'm living with Sting now.." I whispered, but some girls near us heard and their scowl deepened.  Well, I'm not having anymore friends soon...  Yukino smiled shyly.

"Well, I guess that means I'm no longer the only girl," she grinned.  I smiled, a little relieved.  Atleast that meant that Minerva wasn't here.  I heard the bus doors close and the bus started moving.

"So, what's your first class?" I asked.

        "Language Arts, you?"

"Sadly, history.." I sighed.  Don't get me wrong, learning about our magical heritage is great, but it's suuuuuuper boring.  Just then I felt something sticky hit the back of my head.  "The heck?" I growled.  I picked up the sticky thing, which turned out to be a spitball.

"Hey girly!  Why you gotta hang out with the outcasters?" laughed a boy.  His friends started laughing with him.  Orga was near them, but he scowled at them.

"Oi, she ain't so bad!" defended Orga.

        "Yeah!" agreed Rogue and Sting.

"I don't remember why Yukino or Jessie should be called outcasters," said Rufus.  The boys started laughing even harder.

"What?  Ya love her now boys?  Get a grip!" said another boy.  I snarled at looked up at the rear view mirror.  The bus driver looked at me through the mirror and nodded.  I nodded in thanks and cracked my knuckles.

"Excuse me for a sec Yukino.." I smirked before getting up in my seat and walking towards that group of boys.

"Hey look guys!  Girly's coming towards us!" said the first boy and stood up too.  "Whatcha gonna do?"

"This," I smirked and kicked him in the face, making his nose bleed.  He fell to his group of friends, who were now shaking in fear as I kept getting closer.

"Aw, only a nose bleed?  Jeez, I'm getting rusty," I sighed, adjusting my black flats.  Orga looked at me in surprise and I smiled back at him.  They tried to back away, but they were already at the back of the bus.  "Nuh uh uh, you don't get away with insulting my friends here.."  I roughed up him and his group of friends all the way until the bus stopped.

"We're here!" yelled the bus driver, mainly to me.

"Awweh, already?" I pouted, holding one of the guy's collar.  I let go of it and waited for everyone else to board, or should I say run, off the bus.  When they got off the bus, I went up to the bus driver and bowed.

"Thanks sir," I said.  "I'll fix and pay for any damages I might have done."

"Nah, don't worry about it, Jessie right?" he waved off.  I nodded.

"You sure sir?" I said.  "I know how to fix anything and I'm sure I can get a loan from my father.."

"No, I insist, and thanks," he winked.  I nodded, bowed again, and got off the bus.  Orga, Rogue, Sting, Rufus, and Yukino were waiting for me.

"That.  Was.  Awesome!" said Orga as the bus drove away.

        "It was nothing," I shrugged.

        "Nothing?  That was Minerva's boyfriend!"

"Ex-boyfriend," Sting coughed.  Rogue rolled his eyes while I looked at him with a smirk.

"You liiike Minerva don't you?" I smirked.

        "What?? NO!" he denied.

"Yup," said Rogue, Rufus, and Orga in unison.  "He's her new boyfriend."

"Boyfriend??" I said in awe.  So that's why she threatened me like that!  But I'm not in love with him or anything, I just see him as a friend, and I'm pretty sure he's not attracted to anything about me except my face, and perhaps other...parts...  His cheeks turned slightly pink.

"S-so what if I am?" he stuttered.  My smirk grew wider.

"It means that you ain't a player anymore!" I smirked.  It dissapeared though when I saw a flash of sadness go over his eyes, but no one else seemed to notice it but me.

"Well, we've gotta go or else we'll be late to class!" said Orga.  "See ya guys!"  With that, they all left, except for Sting.

"What's wrong?" I asked.  "Did I say something?"

"Can I ask you a question?" he asked quietly.  I nodded slowly.

"Do you think...I'm a terrible person?"  I looked at him weirdly.

        "Why would you ask that?"

"Because of what you said yesterday...about breaking all of those girls' hearts.."  He was actually thinking about that?  I didn't think I really got through to him.

"You're not a terrible person," I said firmly.  "Look, if you're a player, then you're only a bad person if you don't care about the people you hurt even if you know what you are doing.  You didn't know, so you're not."  I put a hand on his shoulder to comfort him.  "Now come on, we're gonna be late to history," I choked a bit when I said the word history.  God I hate that subject.  He weakly smiled.

"Thanks Jessie," he said.  I smiled warmly.

        "No prob; race ya?"

        "You're on."
