Vanessa's p.o.v.
"I like you."
Wait what?
My eyes widen and I'm at a loss for words.
He's joking right?
"Who doesn't?" I say, trying to lighten up the mood. "I mean it Vanessa. I like you." He repeats, even more seriously this time.
"As a friend right?"
I really don't wanna misunderstand. As much as this makes me happy, I don't wanna take it the wrong way.
"No. As more than a friend. I love you."
Okay..
Now I really don't know what to say-
"And what if I don't like you back?" I question and I saw hurt in his eyes, making me regret. "I don't care. I'll still love you. I want to let you know that." He says, wiping away the hurt as if it were nothing.
How can you mot fall for a guy this sincere?
I hug him tightly, making him almost fall back in suprise.
"I love you too, you enormous pain in the as*." I laugh a little and he hugs me back tightly with a smile.
He cups my face in his hands and leans in, his warm breath sent goosebumps to my skin.
Then he kisses me passionately and I respond as well.
After a few moments we both pull back. I was out of breath by then.
"Vanessa.."
Before he could say anything else, a loud squeal erupted the silence.
"Hey love birds! Finished with your moment?" It was Jasmine and Isabella.
Wait-
They planned this sh*t?!
Now I feel betrayed!
"You planned everything without telling me?" I glare and they smile sheepishly.
"Of course we couldn't tell you. You wouldn't have agreed. Plus, it's hard convincing yoir brothers." They say with a sigh.
I noticed my brothers only then.
They all stood behind them with glares on their faces.
And the glares were directed to Ashton.
If looks could kill, he'd be dead already-
"You guys agreed?" I question to none in particular. "For now.."
Ashton grinned and gave Isabella and jasmine a thumbs up.
Guess all that's finally over.
"So are you and jasmine a couple too then? Otherwise Ashton and I won't get together." I say firmly and I saw Ashton pout.
"Please tell me they're a couple.." he whined like a child.
"Yeah. We are. I finally got her to admit it." Romeo brags and I saw Jasmine punch him in the stomach.
"Shut up."
We all laughed at them. All of us except Ethan and Jason of course.
They still remained as cold as ever.
Making them laugh is gonna be a tough mission..
"Can we go home now? It's getting late and I'm hungry." I grumble and everyone rolled their eyes.
"Fine." Then they walk to the car and i follow after them.
"Hey. Don't you have anything to say?" Ashton says, catching up to me.
"No?" I say but it comes out more as a question than anything else.
Did I forget something?
"You said we could become boyfriend and girlfriend if Jasmine and Romeo were together!" He huffs and I roll my eyes.
How could I develop feelings for a child?
"I never agreed. That's just one of the requirements." I shrug.
"Come on!"
"Fine." I give in. "We're officially boyfriend and girlfriend."
Ashton grins like a child that just got candy.
"How are you gonna tell your mum? I'm not sure if she'll be happy." I couldn't help but question. He just rolled his eyes.
"She'll be happy if it's you. You're practically like her daughter." He grumbled slightly. "I'm starting to wonder if I'm really her son."
I burst out laughing and felt warmness fill me.
"So, when do you wanna meet her?"
"Not sure. Maybe tomorrow or something." I shrug my shoulders. "I mean, you just need to tell her that we're boyfriend and girlfriend now. There's not much to tell."
"She desperately wants to meet you. Your name is the only name I hear in the house!" He waves his hands in the air.
"Fine. I'll come by maybe tomorrow. Not sure if my brothers will like the idea of it though."
"Thanks." He sighs in relief.
"No promises." I say sternly and he nods.
Soon we reached the car, which wasn't Parked too far.
I got in the back seat and waved to Ashton.
"See ya." I smile and he returned it with a bigger one.
Then we drove off towards home.
Ashton's p.o.v
I watched as they left and smiled to myself.
Then outta nowhere I fist pumped the air.
I'm glad I confessed. Should've done it a long time ago.
I got into my car and drove home, thinking of how to tell my mum everything.
I know that she might be cool with it but she may interrogate Vanessa.
Once I arrived home, I entered the house and saw mum at the table.
She made some food and looked like she had been waiting long.
Shit. .
Was I out that long?
"What took you so long?! The foods already cold!" She sighs, exasperatedly.
Well that answers my dumb question-
"Some stuff happened." I say, avoiding her eyes.
"Like what?" She narrowed her eyes at me.
What's the easiest way to say this?
"Vanessa and I were spending time togather and I confessed." I say quickly and she immediately jumps up.
"And what happened?"
"We're together now." I say with a proud look.
"For once I'm proud of you son." She says, wiping away a fake tear. I glare at her, irritated.
"By the way, your father said he's coming tomorrow." She beams and I groan. He only decides to show up now?
That as*hole...
Spending most of the year abroad.
I'm really starting to wonder whether he lives there and not here.
"What time?" Nonetheless, I was kinda happy that he's coming. I still need to introduce him and Vanessa..
Well f*ck.
"Not sure. Maybe by morning or something."
I nod and sit at the table.
I then start to eat my food and talk to mum aboit random stuff.
Henry's p.o.v
Why is that boy always with Vanessa?
He can't be her brother..
Maybe he is?
I mean, they seem pretty close..
I was currently lying down in bed, with today's events still going through my mind.
Maybe I shouldn't really worry.
I'll try telling Vanessa what I wanted to say tomorrow.
With that, I fell asleep.
