BEFORE ALL FOR ONE fell during the battle with Allmight, he took time to speak with Tomura regarding the future. "I believe you will gain my position of your own hard work and choices, try as many times as you need. I will always be here for you."
Leaning into the man's patting hand Tomura sighed, "master-"
Silencing his protégé's worries, All for One continued, "I saved your colleagues and the Bakugo boy you believe is very important. As well, as the lovely (y/n) who I'm sure you haven't forgotten about...
I know you will make the right choices, remember will always be here for you"

Stepping into the fight, Tomura was left in disarray. What now?

It had been a week since All for One had fallen and Allmight retired, leaving the whole world of Heros and Villans in confusion.
Officially (y/n) was still considered a hostage and a student of UA but, due to her lack of family and loss of public support, no one is really pushing to get her back.
After the battle between Allmight and All for one, half of the ward was destroyed, thousands left dead or injured, no one was in a rush to continue the fight.
(Y/n) thought of this as a positive, no one was wanted to hunt her down, which means she can spend more time with Tomura.
Alas, he did not view the situation the same. The defeat and capture of his Sensei was a devastating blow to the league and to Tomura, he tried his best but he felt the grief pool in the front of his mind.
Sighing she sat alone with her thoughts, the Main Members of the LOV currently were in a safe house collecting Intel and doing damage control.
Fighting to get more members with powerful quirks, and to secure the Nomu's that the league still owned was a tough battle. Especially because most of the information Tomurs needed, was seized right up with All for one.
(Y/n) tried to offer support, but things like this seemed to work themselves out with him, mostly like because he doesn't let anyone in close... What am I supposed to do? I want to help him, bring him comfort, but I can't even get alone with him!
Frustrated at her own inability just made (y/n) have an overload, deciding she needed a break she took the opportunity to finally get to know the league's members.
Her eyes scanning the room she started to cross off the list, already talked with Toga, Big Magne and Compress... The only person that seems to be available is... Dabi.
Standing and thinking to herself she weighed the idea in her mind. She could form a new friendship and because they share a quirk it could be very beneficial.
Collecting her past assumptions, she threw them away and stepped forward to travel to new horizons.
Waving her hand slightly, she gave him a soft smile, "Hi, my name is (Y/N)... you're Dabi right?"
His interest was peaked the moment he laided eyes on her in the forest. Her quirk and appearance seemed so familiar he couldn't put his finger on it... so to say he had anticipated this introductory conversation was an understatement.
"It is sweet cheeks, what do I owe the pleasure?"
Sarcasm was the name of the game, his voice seeped in derision. Ah... maybe this was a mistake.
"Well I just wanted to introduce myself, after all we're going to be working together from now on..."
Fidgeting and scratching her cheek and looked away anxiously. After all not villains are like Tomura or Toga... some don't want to be saved.
"Well (y/n) it's nice to meet you... I suppose we will be seeing more from each other."
She felt his eyes scanning her body, this really was a mistake, "Yes well, I think I should go-".
Dabi hadn't meant to be creepy. He supposed he was interested in her, in ways other than relationships, so he struggled to find the right words.
"Hold on... why don't we go on a walk or something? Let's get to know each other..."
He watched as she bit her lip and mulled over the idea in her head, "okay but, no funny business. I'm already with someone."
He had smiled at that statement, "okay (y/n), no funny business. Purely serious business."
She had shared that smile to but, being around him made her feel uneasy... maybe I should just give him a chance.
"Alright I'll follow you!"

Tomura hated the hungering desire that consumed him, he hated that it made him feel so good... he hated that it made sense to just run away from it all to be with her.
He thought bringing her to be with him would fix it, but with in fact it drove him right over the edge.
It was constant, only way he seemed to be able to focus was when she wasn't there. It tore him to the bone, especially when he knows all she wants to do is comfort him.
Looking away from his work, his eyes narrowed at his outside view, "what are they doing together?"

"So tell me about yourself Sweet Cheeks... what made you join the villains?"
She smiled nervously, "Well I suppose love... sounds silly huh?"
Love? Dabi's eyes frowned... was it handy man?
"No it's not silly at all, but you gave it all up for someone? Weren't you supposed to be an accomplished hero?"
She dazed off into space with that statement, "I suppose in another life... but I followed my heart. I don't really care for material objects and personal status symbols, I just wanted to be happy and share that happiness with another."
"Ah, so your the sentimental type?"
Blushing rose she moved her eyes away, "I guess I am, I just don't know what I would do without him... it feels like he's what holds me to the ground."
Dabi snickered at that statement, "so your a romantic to..."
"Yup! What gave me away?"
Sharing a smile, (y/n) decided she needed to learn more about him.
"What made you join the league?"
Dabi looked away, he always felt uncomfortable talking about his past. It just made old memories resurface that he had thrown away.
"Personal reasons... my family I suppose."
Personal reasons, well I guess we all have fucked up families...
"I get it... my family wasn't to great either."
Staring into the stars, (y/n) thought of everything she was thankful for, her friends, Tomura, having clean air to breath and a roof above her head... despite the poor situation, she felt bliss.
Looking at her, he focused on her (e/c) eyes, with the tiniest speck of gold.
