Warning: This chapter might rot your teeth.

Can came out of the bathroom amidst a cloud of steam and approached Tin who was attempting to proofread an assignment that was due for submission the next week. His attention was immediately drawn away from the dry subject of the International Monetary Fund to watch Can's approach. One of the many things he loved about Can was how he seemed not to realise just how gorgeous he was, and never more so half naked like he was now.

Can reached for the computer mouse, closed Tin's document, and pushed the keyboard out of the way. He then inserted himself between Tin and the desk and sat himself on top of it. He leant back slightly, supporting his weight on his arms and opened his legs in blatant invitation.

Tin gulped and briefly reconsidered that perhaps Can did know his own attraction after all, at least when it came to how Tin saw him. He stood, heart going wild in his chest, and filled the space between Can's legs with himself. Can's gaze flicked to his lips and before Tin had chance to think Can had sat upwards, wrapped his left hand around the back of his neck and pulled him in, kissing him firmly on the mouth

"Ren is fast asleep and the door is locked," Can said into Tin's mouth and pulled him back in for an opened mouthed kiss that went from zero to desperate in seconds, fingers in hair and the feeling of never wanting it to end. Can scooted forwards to the edge of the desk, wrapping his legs around Tin's waist, his hardness pressing into Tin's stomach, constrained only by his towel.

Tin wanted to see him, to take the heavy weight of his cock in his hand and coax him to come all over his fist. Without breaking the kiss, he inched back a little and slid his hand inside the towel which immediately fell away. Can's cock bobbed free and proud, red at the tip and already leaking. God, he was just so—fuck. Tin's mouth went dry at the sight, like he'd never seen him naked before, all pale and lean, his nipples pink and inviting, stomach flat and his cock utter perfection. Tin would never tire of the vision.

Can hooked the forefinger of his left hand into one of Tin's belt loops and pulled him closer, fumbling with the button until Tin pushed his hand away and did it for him, stepping out of his trousers, boxers and socks all in one go, letting Can pull his t-shirt over his head.

Tin aligned his body with Can and scooted him back up, stalling when Can kissed him again, their cocks pressed together between their bodies and Tin's last coherent thought abandoned him. Licking his palm, he wrapped his hand around both of their cocks, finding a rhythm that complimented their breathless kissing.

After a while he pulled back, breaking the kiss, staring down at his hand and the tips of their cocks as he moved his fist around them, then staring at Can whose gaze was fixed on Tin's fist, his cheeks flushed. After a minute, their eyes met and remained locked as Tin picked up his pace, his breathing speeding up, heart pounding out of his chest. Can's legs curled tightly around the back of Tin's thighs and when one of Can's fingers traced the top of Tin's thigh and parted his cheeks to skate over his hole Tin nearly lost it, letting out a loud groan that had Can's expression turn wicked.

"Faster, Tin," he said, eyes still on Tin's. "Gonna come, can't—" He didn't break eye contact as he came, shooting all over Tin's chest. Tin stroked him through it and as Can's breathing began to slow he pushed Tin's hand away and took Tin's cock in his own smaller hand.

Just a couple of strokes and Tin could feel his own orgasm building, rising through him slowly, letting him chase it, almost, just out of reach until Can circled his hole again with his spare hand and that was all Tin needed, spurting between them and adding to the mess Can had already made.

Tin dropped his head forward onto Can's shoulder.

Can laughed and said, "Another shower. Then sleep."

Tin thought that was an excellent idea.

:::::

"Tin?" Can said, turning onto his side to look at his profile. "Ma broke things off with Vit. She wants me and Ren to move home."

Tin went cold at Can's words. After everything they had just been through, after they'd just made love, Can was leaving him?

He pushed himself up onto his elbows and looked at Can whose eyes widened at the sudden movement. "I can't do this," Tin managed, climbing out of bed and shoving his feet into his slippers. "Not again."

Can sat up, alarmed. "What can't you do?" He swung his feet to the floor and walked around the bed to where Tin remained, momentum already lost. Where exactly did he think he was going to go? He had nowhere to escape to, these quarters were supposed to be his safe place, and Can was here.

Not that it felt safe now, since he'd found out today from looking at CCTV, that Tul had been inside and found the papers Tin had copied regarding Ren's mother which was how he'd tracked her down, but that was something he would tackle in the coming days.

"Tin?" He could feel Can's hand was on his arm. "Tin!"

Tin snapped back to life and snatched his arm away. He looked around him, eyes landing on the desk where he and Can had just made love then as his gaze moved around the room at Ren who lay snuffling in her nest next to Can's side of the bed and he crumpled. He couldn't lose them.

He looked at Can and said, voice hoarse with the tears that threatened to make an appearance. "You can't leave. I won't let you." Of course, he knew that if Can wanted to go there was zilch he could do to stop it.

Can was staring at him, his confusion turning to something else as he looked away, down at his feet and said, "I..." He tailed off and shuffled. A long pause followed, and Tin held his breath. Can looked up and met Tin's eyes and took his hand. "I have no intention of leaving. I don't ever want to be apart from you. I hated it when you were away this week! I— I love you."

Tin felt a little dazed and thought for a moment he might be dreaming. "You said your mother wants you to move home."

"Yes, and I told her no. Home is where you are. If you want us." When Tin didn't reply Can shook his head and took a step back. "Look, if you don't it's fine. I shouldn't have said anything. I promised myself I'd wouldn't say anything unless you did first, but it kills me to keep things inside, you know that."

Can said home was there Tin was. Can never wanted to be apart from him. Can loved him.

He reached out, fingers closing over Can's shoulders, and pulled him into his arms. He buried his face in Can's neck. He smelled of Tin's shampoo. He smelled like he belonged. He kissed Can's neck and pulled back to look at him, "I love you too, Cantaloupe." Another kiss on the lips. "I don't ever want to be apart from you again either."

:::::

That night they didn't find sleep until the early hours. Firstly their almost-chaste kiss had quickly turned into something more fervent and Can's hands had found their way down Tin's sweat pants and that had been enough to instigate another round, Can backed against the wall out of sight of the bed, both feeling weird that Ren was right there if they did anything in the bed.

Afterwards they curled up together in the bed and talked. Really talked.

"I'm sorry about before, when I turned you down," Can had said. "I didn't understand how I felt, I'd just found out about Ren, it was all too much."

"I'm sorry I wasn't there when you needed me."

"Tin?"

"Yes?"

"Will you be my boyfriend?"

Pulling Can tighter into his arms. "Yes, Cantaloupe, I will be your boyfriend."

"And we live together, like permanently, not just because I needed somewhere to go but because we want to?"

"I saw the opportunity and grabbed it. It was always because I wanted you with me. So yes, we permanently live together."

"You don't mind that I come as a two-for-one deal?"

"As long as you don't mind Ren's first word being 'dad' and not 'pa'," Tin teased.

"You want her to call you dad?"

"I mostly grew up in the UK. It's dad or daddy there."

"Missing the point. You want to be Ren's father?"

"I want us to be a family."

That had sent Can off into an overthinking ramble the crux of which was: was Tin sure he wanted to be making a commitment like that when was only nineteen? To which Tin countered: did Can want to commit being a unit with Tin when he was only eighteen? Can's reply had made Tin fall in love with him all over again: "I want us to be the family you never had."

The truth that neither of them acknowledged was that no one can know what the future holds, but in the here and now Tin could not foresee a time when he wouldn't love Can. It didn't matter how young they were, as far as Tin understood that just mean they had more years to enjoy together. He wanted to marry Can someday and maybe have more children, but the law didn't allow for the first and they were a long way off the latter.

Then later, "I know I said home is where you are, but—" Can had chewed his lip and Tin had nudged him to continue, no longer worried Can was about to leave him. "I don't feel comfortable living somewhere that your family can just make an appearance at any time. You said you inherited all the Medthanan properties. Is there a smaller house we can move into? We don't need all this room for just us. A room for us, one for Ren and maybe a spare or two for if Ma, Ley or Good come to stay, and a garden for Gucci."

"I've stayed here because I want to keep the staff in work. Some of them have been with the family for years. If we leave this house and it's only my parents' occasional visits then most of the staff would be out of a job."

Can laughed, "I knew you were a massive softie at heart! It makes sense why there are so many staff now."

"Don't tell anyone, you'll ruin my reputation."

The truth was, overall, some of the staff had been his only constant. Here before he'd left for England, welcoming when he'd come home in between and upon his final return. He told Can this and he said, "We could still have some staff if we moved somewhere smaller, definitely Jet and Ani as well. You own the family business so you can find people other jobs."

"You really want to live elsewhere?"

Can nodded.

"Then I'll make it happen."

This triggered Can listing all the staff one-by-one and telling Tin what sort of job he thought they'd be good at. Eventually he slowed down and they both drifted into sleep only to be woken an hour later by Ren's hungry cry. Tin told Can to go back to sleep and got up with her himself. If he wanted to be called 'daddy' he needed to earn the right.
