"Are you okay?" The girls followed behind me
"I'm fine,I'll be at the balcony to get some fresh air"

I went to the balcony while the girls spend some time with the I-Landers
I was enjoying the peace I had until someone tapped my shoulder
"Sunghoon?"
"Hey,you don't look so good"
"Yeah not In the best mood right now"
"So,what was that all about?"
"Personal problems"
"You have personal problems with Ni-ki? I thought you two just met like a few minutes ago?"
"No,I've known him for a long time,he's my twin brother"
He widened his eyes and asked again "He's your what now?"
"I know we don't look alike,he's more similar to dad and I'm more similar to mom"
"Your mom? the woman who visited you during the competition?"
I laughed a little "That's my aunt"
"But I clearly remember she said she was your parent" He raised an eyebrow, trying to remember If he was right
"My mom died,my dad was abusive,so she took me away before things got worst"
"Oh- Uhm- I'm sorry for bringing that up" He said,I can hear the feeling of guilt In his tone
"It's fine,you didn't know. Anyways,why are you here?"
"You seemed angry so I thought talking to me would help calm you down" He shrugged his shoulders

"You know, I didn't expect you to actually wear that necklace" He said as he touched the necklace
"Why not?"
"I thought you didn't like it,I did picked that in a rush"
"Haha don't worry, I love It, It's beautiful"

"Hey Y/n! We gotta go!" Joo-Eun came In the balcony and Interrupted
"Now?"
"Yeah we gotta go record our daily content"

I left the balcony and went to the girls who are still in the kitchen
"Okay let's go!"
"We have to leave now,you guys have good rest"
"Good job today boys,we'll see you all tomorrow"
"Goodbye everyone,you've worked hard for today"
"Goodbye!! Thank you seniors" We bowed to each other before leaving the place
We left the I-land building and continued filming for our daily content
The next day,It was time to prepare for their first test
At the I-land building~
"Hello boys,how's breakfast?" The girls and I entered,and stood In the middle
"Good!!"
"Now that you've had breakfast. Time to work hard"
"Congrats! This will be your first test in I-land"
"The first test Is about your first meet here,the song Is called 'Into The I-land' produced and choreographed by me. Here It Is"
The huge monitor showed the video of the choreography and the song, Including the distributed parts
"For the parts,you all will be deciding it on your own" Haneul said as the song finishes
"We hope you guys will be able to choose the parts wisely,though It can be changed through out the week"
"You have a week to learn the song and the choreography,we will be checking once a while to see your progress"
"Good luck!"
"Uhm question" One of the boys raised their hands
"Yes Daniel?" Everyone then turned their attention towards Daniel
"Will this be scored?"
"Ah yes almost forgot" Haneul said as she hits her forehead
"The answer is yes,this will be scored"
"You all will be scored individually and the average of all your scores will determine how many people will be voted out" I added
"Ah,okay thank you"
"Anymore questions?"
Everyone stayed silent
"No? Okay,we'll leave you to distribute the parts"
The girls and I left the room and went back to the monitor room
"I hope they can show their teamwork in this test,oh,and girls?" Bang PD called and we turned our attention to him
"You have to divide Into 2 teams. One person teaches the I-landers and the other two go to ground to help them"
"Y/n? Can you do I-landers?" I Immediately nodded and asked
"Sure,so you and Joo-Eun will be at ground right?"
"Yup"
"Alright,we can do this"
"Looks like they're done distributing the parts" Zico said while looking at the screen
"Let them practice on their own today"
"Yeah,we'll check up on them in 3 more days"
3 days later~
"Good afternoon I-landers! How's practice?" I greeted the I-landers as I walk out of the darkness and they enter the stage
"It was good!" They all said In unison
"Are you confident about this performance?"
"YES!!"
"Will this blow the mentors' minds?"
"YESS!"
"Alright,let me see your performance"
They went to their positions and showed the performance as I watched them carefully
I sighed and glared at them "That's it? What's so special? Who lead the team?"
Silence filled In and all the I-landers kept their head low while exchanging glances and signals to each other
"No one? Not even someone close to the word leading?"
"Uhm Heeseung and K helped all of us with the choreography and vocals"
"Finally,thank you for answering Jungwon. Well,Heeseung and K? Why is your performance not as mind blowing as you all said"
"We're sorry we didn't work hard enough" Heeseung bowed but still kept his gaze down
"I don't need sorry, I need you ALL to show me your very best" I pointed my pen to all of them
"The formation was a mess,Ni-ki and Geonu made plenty of mistakes and what happened to the moves? Who told you to change the choreography"
Heeseung raised his hand "I just thought It'd be easier for all of us If It went side ways"
"Heeseung I appreciate your honesty and the thought of making It easier for the others but never do that again and just stick to the real choreography understand? It's a bit disrespectful"
"Yes"
"Okay,now let me hear your voices"
They formed a line and sang the entire song
"Okay stop" I stopped them In the middle of the song
"What did you all do for the past 3 days? A lot of you were out of tune and some of you missed your parts and almost all of you forgot the lyrics" I looked at them annoyed and frustrated
"Do you all even want to be here? Cause If this keeps up you can leave this building,you know very well where the exit Is" I pointed at the egg thing

"We'll work harder" Someone suddenly said a bit loud and enough to make everyone's attention on him
"Thank you for that Sunghoon but prove to me you'll work harder. You have 4 days left so do not waste the time you have. I will be giving private lessons for each of you and I do not want to see anyone slacking"
"Yes ma'am!"
"Good,were there any struggles during practice?"
Again, silence kicked In
"If none of you are gonna say anything I'm gonna check the surveillance camera"
"There were a few misunderstandings and troubles related to the part distribution" One of them,to be exact Youngbin spoke up
"Part distributions? What went wrong?" I squinted my eyes In confusion
"Heeseung didn't want to be center so we changed it to Niki and well.."
"So the 1st part changed from Heeseung to Niki?"
"Yes"
I nodded "Look,I'm not gonna tell you to change parts again cause I trust Ni-ki can take responsibility for the first part but please guys,TEAMWORK"
"You're performance will all go to waste if there's no teamwork. You will be scored Individually but that doesn't mean you can just focus on yourselves. If I see no teamwork, I will lower your score for sure"
"Alright"
"Good,you can get back to practicing and I'll see you during private lessons"
I left the stage and went back to the monitor room where all the other mentors were
"Didn't expect you to be so tough on them" Rain chuckled a little as I sat next to him
"Everything they did was a huge mess,how am I supposed to go soft on them?"
"I would do the same to them,at least Y/n didn't force them to do anything" Zico said, nodding In agreement
"And you are giving them private lessons? That's good" Bang PD smiled and gave a thumbs up
"It's sad to see talented people like them getting eliminated just because they're slacking. Anyways,how were the grounders?"
"They were slightly better than the I-landers"
"Wow really?" I widened my eyes a little upon hearing the statement
"Yeah,they were stiff but they had teamwork"
I huffed a breath and sighed "I really hope the I-landers will perform better"
