It was already night time and i we had put up all the things for the event.
"Alright gys so tionight we are hosting a party for wwe. This is the first time we have held an event for them and we wanna mae a good impression. We have been given an opportunity to expand our cafe and more importantly make such an event for a company who lives to entertain us They will be having there survior series next weeka nd they thought it would be a good idea to have our block reservbed for there event only. We have the opportunity to even collaborate with there venue." Barry our manager said.
I can't believe that wwe was gonna be here. I completely forgot that i use to work for them and now there gonna see how low i sunk well in there eyes.
"So everyone please show a good impression. They have been asked me to see if some of you could go on the road with them?"Barry asked."
"What does it mean for those who go on the road?'Some asked.
"Well i would have to find replacements for those who get ton go. I mean it saddeness me to see you guys go but you will have a better income and you get to explore new places."He said.
"So how and when do we know when we get chosen?'' another asked.
"they will let me know. I did actually have in nrequest already but that perosn and i will speak privatley after."Barry said.
I was fearing that it was me. Did they find me or was i just being paranoid?
"Alright guys so thye should be here any mintue so makesure everything is set and neat."Barry said.
All of us were making sure the tables were set and that every object was placed where it was suppose to be.
"Marissa can i talk too you for a moment?"Barry asked.
"Sure."I said.
We walked into his office and he asked me to take a seat.
"So i know that you use to work for wwe. I didn't say anything when you first came to ask for a job. i thought why would someone like you wanna be working here when she works in wwe When i heard that you quit i decided to hire you since you were always a regular here. And most importanly know how this business runs."He said.
"I appriciate that you treated me normal. Also does anyone else know?"I asked.
"Yes they do but all we care about is knowing that we have a very talented person working for us and that eveeryhting wesaw on screen was all for show.He said smiling.
"Well not a lot of things. Let's just say i had really big issues with people there."I siad.
"I'm sorry to hear that but know that they did ask for you."He said.
"How did they know i worked here? 'I asked confused.
"Well they saw you the other dys."He said rubbing his neck.
"Wait who saw me."I said eagerly.
"Some guy name Dean."He said.
No it could be him. I saw a similar guy just like him but it couldn't be him.
"I thought that Stepahnie, Vince or Hunter were gonna make decision on who to chose."I siad.
"Well it seems thye took his request into consideration and they are asking for you to join them."He siad.
"Well i deny. I'm sorry barry but someone elsew should take my place. i have hand many problems with them and i don't wanna go back knowing thye just want me with them just so i could go back to what i was doing before i quit."I said.
"I'm sorry Mar but thye do wnat you back. They even asked me to make sure you agree or they would have every shop here shut down starting with ours."He said sadly.
"Why are they hunting me. I just want a fresh start in life. Why do i make so many mistakes."I said.
"Your young and it happens. Don't beat yourself up about it."He said.
"I know i shlouldn't but thye know i can't wrestle for a few months."I soiad.
"Just think aboutit.Our futures are in your hands."He says.
"I'm sorry but it be best if i leave before they get here."I siad.
"I understand .i'll let them know you were fired this morning."He said.
"Thnaks Barry and hopefully they don't shut you guys down."I said getting up.
I was gonna go into the changing room to change out of my uniform into my normal street clothes i had here just in case when i saw my ex co-workers comin g in. Great.
"Marissa i'm sorry but i think you have no choice but to work tonight."Barry said form behind.
"Well you could just fire me right in front of them.You know say i need to rest and you'll give me my job back when i'm fully recovered or somehting."I said.
"You know your gonna have to face them at some point rihgt."He said.
"yes but i chose later."I said.
"So it is true. Look how low you have sunk." Someone said.
"Well if it isn't the bella twins. Do you need alcohol to make you feel better.Did you know we only accept sober people here not drunks and patheic people."I said.
"Oh strong words for a girl who gave up something so big."Brie said.
"Welll at leats i don;t like dressing like a barbie doll and throwing myself at men."I said.
"Yeah like we don't know you and Ambrpose were a thing."They said.
"Yeah but guess what it's over. At least i don;t date my co-workers to make a name for myself. Let's ee Daniel Bryan and John cena."I siad.
"At least we have men."Thye siad.
"Yeah there only dating you because you have so much make up on and because your nothing but skanks."I siad.
Thye were about to slap me when Barry stepped in.
"Whao ladies please i ask that my employee not be harmed. I would have to take ilegal action for assult on an employer on the premises."He siad.
They just glared at me and walked away.
"Thanks Barry."I said.
"I can see why you left and don;t wanna go abck."He said.
"Yeah this is why i need you to make sure i don't go back to them. Make something up please."I said.
" I will don't worry."He said.
I went out and the first perosn i bump into is Dean.
"Hey."He says.
"Hi."I said.
"So you do work here."He said.
"Yeah". i said.
"Why haven't you come back to wwe."He said.
"Dean i'm happy where i'm at now."I said.
"Marissa i miss you and i know you still can't wrestle but still please come back."He said.
"No i'm not going back to the place that called me pain."i said.
"MArissa i can see your still fesity as ever."Vince said from behind Dean.
"Hello Vince."I said.
"Why don;t we all go and sit and talk about your future."He says.
"Look i already know about the deal you made with my boss so save it.I'm not going."I said.
"I do believe i also let your boss know i could shut this place down."He said.
"So you enjoy runing people's lives.'i said.
"Well there future is in your hands so you would also be responsible."He said.
"Mar just come back. I have already asked Vince to remove you from the storyline.Your gonna be a singles competitor the mintue you are recovered"Dean said.
"Look i'm not going and that's that. I finally found peace in my life."I said.
"Well you still know the contract you signed. let's just say if you were to terminate it at an early term you would face a fine and be acussed of fraud and likely to do sometime."Vince said.
i don't rememeber seeing that in the contract. I'm in two cross raods what do i do now?
"Consider what your doing Mar. You accept and i'll leave you alone."Dean said.
"Fine i'll go back."I said.
Dean hugged me and Mr.Mcmahon just pat me on the shoulder.
"You won't regret your choice."He said.
All nigth i waited on peopel and some even took advantage of me. I hated to do what thye said but it was only for onw night. Next week i'll be an employer again but only as a valet to Dean for that week and then i'll be an interviewer. Let's hope everything goes right this time.
