Bangtan had given Hana an incredible amount of presents, ranging from a complete signed collection of their albums to BT21 themed items and stuffed toys. Of course Hobi and Jimin had spoiled her with the most luxurious clothes a girl could ever want from pretty dresses to comfy sweaters. She wondered if she had to have another room just for all the things they had gifted her.
"I really don't deserve all of this.. thank you so much" she adoringly said to everyone. She was feeling so thankful for this moment as she never had anyone gift her anything before.
"Don't worry sweet Hana, we wanted to do this for you" Hobi smiled lovingly at the girl and she couldn't help but burst into tears at this. Hobi then quickly pulled her in for a gentle hug, careful not to hurt her which she returned whispering numerous thank you's through her tears. Once she pulled back she could see that the other members had started to tear up a little too at the heartfelt action so she decided to quickly wiped her tears and smile at all of them, bowing her head in thanks.
"Really, thank you everyone. I cannot express it enough." She smiled widely and managed to giggle a little, again, the room already felt lighter and the boys returned the gesture.
"Say Hana," Jimin asks leaning on the bottom of the bed frame. "Could we ask why you chose us to be your wish?" He cheekily smiles at the girl causing her to flush furiously again.
"Yah ! We can't ask her that so suddenly!" Tae hits the side of Jimin's arm. While Jimin couldn't help but laugh at his cheeky question. Jin disappointingly shaking his head from the couch.
"Uhm.." Hana finally speaks causing everyone's attention to land on her again. She speaks shyly while looking down at her hands."It's because since I found all of you through your beautiful music, and stumbling upon Run BTS, I found that the interactions between yourselves were so lively and fun.." she looks up at everyone her cheeks slightly flushed. "And I wanted to experience what it would be like for a day to have friends" she nervously bites her lower lip, quickly looking elsewhere, not meeting their eyes.
At this the boys hearts were just taken by this gentle fragile girl. She was so strong, through their entire interaction today they never would have thought that this girl before them had gone through the hells they read about in her file.
"Hana.." Yoongi surprisingly is the one that speaks up. Everyone was shocked by this but Hana gently looked up at him, nervous for his answer. "It's not just for today, we can be your friend for as long as you'll have us" his perfect pouty lips gently turn up in a sweet smile towards her.
"That's right Hana, we're not here for just today" Jungkook slides just hand under one of hers to hold it gently.
"We're going to be here for you for many days after. Our company and the hospital have granted us permission to visit you anytime" Namjoon softly touches a strand of her long hair. "That's if, you'd like to of course" Namjoons eyes twinkle at hers, dimples showing on his cheeks.
"You mean, I can see you all again? after today?" She was shocked and confused by what they were saying. She had only requested a day.
"We can see you tomorrow if you'd like too! In fact all of us can even come when we're free if you'll have us" Tae's boxy smile shines through and all she could feel was a sense of happiness wash over her. Jungkooks hand tightens around her own, pulling her attention to him.
"We will be here with you Hana, for not just one day. It was our decision that we wanted to be here for you." He sweetly smiles at her, his cute bunny teeth all of Army talk about. She felt like the luckiest girl in this moment. Surrounded by her favorite Idol group.
"Aren't you all very busy? I couldn't possibly take up your free time. Today was already more than I could ever ask for." She looked at them in concern. She didn't want to feel like they had to do this for her, she didn't want to feel like a burden.
"Don't be silly pretty Hana, we decided this long before and we made up our minds. We want to spend our time with you." Hobi grins
"Plus, didn't you say you had plans you wanted to spend with us? Just because we're unable to do them now, means we can just do them another time when we are able to!" Jin cheerfully says while the others nod in agreement. She couldn't believe it, she was so happy she could cry any moment but she had already cried so many times today because of happiness but this she couldn't hold in.
All her life, all she ever wanted was to have friends, people she could share and do activities with. People she could laugh and have fun with, and for her to be able to do that with people she dreamed of meeting was just too overwhelming for her. She cried saying thank you over and over again causing the boys to not be able to hide their affection for her so they gathered around her to give her a big hug with her in the center. Encompassing her in a bundle of love and warmth.
"Don't worry, you're not alone" and with those soft words Jungkook whispers, Hana couldn't help but smile through her tears, a genuinely big smile she couldn't remember the last time doing. They let her cry softly as Jin had to excuse himself from the room to prepare another surprise for her. In that time in between after she recovered from her teary mess, Tae has come to sit right next to her to hold her right hand and Yoongi was now sitting at the base of the bed with Jungkook still clutching her left hand. They had begun chatting about numerous things.
Hana was over being melodramatic and sobbing so she opted for a more curious conversation. The boys had then started relaxing in their spots and enjoying the feel of her hand in their palms, both Jungkook and Tae drawing circles on it with their thumbs mindlessly.
"So, I heard the both of you really like Overwatch?" She asks the two holding her hands, a cheeky grin on her face.
"Oh! I am best Dva" Tae enthusiastically responds and does cute shooting fingers at her before taking her hand again. She couldn't help but giggle at his gesture.
"And I'm the best widowmaker." Jungkook winks and uses his other hand to brush back his locks. Hana was trying her hardest not to squeal at his action. Wow he was so attractive.
"Oh yeah? How good." She challenged cocking an eyebrow at Jungkook. "I bet I could beat you in a 1v1 Jungkook" she smirks knowingly at him earning a challenging grin back from Jungkook and cheering from the other boys in the room. Things were getting exciting in the room any everyone was on board.
"You, me, 1v1 right now" he pointed at Hana and himself through his sentence squeezing her hand tight, "ok Noona?" With a flirtatious grin he made sure to annunciate the last word to fluster Hana, but she didn't back down.
"Don't day I didn't warn you, Kookie" she cheekily grins back and pulls her hand away from his winking at him in return. Jungkook pulls back clutching a hand on his heart pretending he was taken aback earning cheers and giggles from Hana's words towards him. "I can use my laptop, you can use my desktop in the corner if that's alright for you ?" Hana motioned to the corner of the room where Jungkook had already started walking to the battle station. Guess they were doing it now.
She luckily had her Laptop setup on her hospital table ready to be swiveled to her on her bed so she didn't have to move. The other boys gathered beside Hana to view her screen.
"Let's make this quick" she yawns tauntingly at Jungkook and he knew she was just trying to get on his nerves but he was enjoying this, he was so excited to see what she could do but he was also excited to show her his skills.
"Bring it" Jungkook calls from the corner, both with full concentration in their screens as it counts down.
"First to 3 kills wins okay?" She calls out as the doors open and they start. Hana knew what was going to happen. The first to do a grapple shot that flings their character high in the sky was going to be the first to lose as it's easier to shoot from the ground. She knew Jungkook was good so none of them grappled up high. Hana then manages to spot Jungkooks character for a split second, giving away his whereabouts so she does a quick grapple around the corner taking him by surprise and shooting him directly in the head. The room erupted in shouts while Jungkook was still silently concentrating on the next game.
"Hana, 1, Jungkook 0" Tae comedically re-enacts a famous voice line of Dva's causing Hana to giggle a little. She had to be careful not to laugh too hard even though she wanted to. Her surgery still hurt her.
The next round she took her chance to grapple up high and she regretted it immediately as Jungkook shot her down causing disappointed sounds to resound from the boys. Jungkook grinning at his screen.
"Aaaaaa I shouldn't have done that" She laughed
"Rookie mistake Hana" He calls out. The next game Jungkook wins again, while Hana won the one after. The score was 2 - 2 and it was the tiebreaker. Whoever wins this round, wins the game.
"Okay before we start I'm going to put a wager. If I win, you have to.." Jungkook ponders for a little before settling on something " you have to duo with me in a competitive game together one day" he swiveled the chair around to look at Hana with his signature bunny smile.
"Okay if I win.." she thinks for a moment, unsure what to wager. She looks around her room before her eyes land on something. Flicking her head sharply to look at Jungkook, she points at a game on her shelf. "You have to play Co-op of a scary game with me!" She grinned at this ingenious idea. She had wanted to play a horror game for the longest time but she could never try it alone and none of the hospital staff would be brave enough to neither play nor sit in the same room with her when she wanted to. It was her only chance. The boys were shocked by her request, they never thought a girl like her would want to play such a scary game but it amused them. Especially the maknae.
"Really? You want to play a scary game? Wow.." he runs his hand through his hair again amazed by her request. "Okay let's get it." And with that the two were back onto the final round.
"Go Hana !!" The Bangtan boys all cheered.
"You can do it Kookie!" Jimin cheered for the Maknae.
Little did they know Hana was honestly just playing with her food.
"Guess I should try now"
Before the game barely started within a split second of Kookie's head peaking at the corner of the screen, she flicked her mouse so fast and shot it.
3-2 Hana wins! As the screen reads. Everyone was in complete shock not saying anything. Jungkook got up and suddenly rushed to her screen to see what happened in the playback. It was so fast, everyone could barely even react. Even Jungkook couldn't see what happened.
"H-how I barely peaked!" He looked at Hana while she just grinned eyes smiling.
"I told you I could beat you." She giggled innocently in her seat while everyone in Bangtan was rolling over in amazement at her skills.
"OMG, She said "guess I should try now" before she did that!" Hobi tried imitating her words and was covering his mouth in pure shock.
"You're kidding!" Jungkook squats on the ground, head in his hands in defeat.
"No Kookie come here!" She motions for him to come closer towards her as he flops his head on the bed pouting at her.
"Noonaaaaaa" he whines "I wanted to win, I want to duo with you" he looks into her eyes pleading while pouting.
"Aigoo" she pats his head softly " don't worry Kookie, I would love to" she smiles at him her eyes going into cute crescents. Jungkook was happy with this outcome, he wanted to play the horror game with her sometime and she agreed to duo with him on overwatch. "Tae, you should join us too ! We could use your Dva skills" she smiles up at the boy who seemed like he was patiently waiting for an invite judging from his pout.
"Yay!" He gleams putting his hands up for a high ten for Hana, the both of them High fived with glee like little kids.
"Yah! I wanted to duo not trio with an anchor" Jungkook grumpily pouts again earning a scuffle from Tae.
"I'm a higher rank than you Kook!" Tae fights back trying to wrestle with the younger one.
"Only by 100 sr !" Jungkook playfully fights back.
"Hey hey hey, were in a hospital you two." Namjoon sighs and tries to break up the two while the rest of us are laughing. Hana hadn't smiled and laughed this much in such a long time.
Just then the door creeks open and Jin enters seeing the boys caught mid scuffle while everyone's attention is on the eldest.
"Dinner is ready, shall we go?" He grins at Hana's shocked expression. Judging from her surprise he probably knew she figured why he was gone.
He cooked dinner for her
