__ Nexo Knights __
When (Y/N) awoke early that morning she let out a loud groan and puts her head under the pillow as an attempt to block out the light and the annoying sounds of early morning.
She knew there was something wrong. It was that horrible feeling she felt every morning except it was even worse magnified tenfold. She wanted to run away and hide, to never return and never be greeted by whatever this was going to be.
(Y/N) briefly wondered if it was because of yesterday with what happened with her right arm. "Damn, you Hela!" (Y/N) cursed in her mind. (Y/N) ran her hand over her birthmark. You couldn't see it but you could feel the outlines of it. Hela had thought herself so clever hiding it in the same place as her birthmark. "So no one would ever find it." (Y/N) hissed bitterly at her arm.
She couldn't understand why she was feeling this way. What was the cause for the aggressive chills that ran down her spine as she tried to move? Whatever was happening couldn't be any worse than yesterday, she was certain of that. So (Y/N) decided to just take the risk she climbed out of her bed and instantly was hit with a wave full of uncomfortableness.
There was a sudden loud bang at the door that almost made her jump. "Darling, it's time to wake up." The Siren of Seaguard called from the other side of the door. "I am already awake, Siren." (Y/N) called back through the closed door.
"Excellent." Siren stated with an excited tone in her voice. "Your opponent has already chosen his challenge. You are to leave at once to reach the chosen battleground." Siren informed her. "Who will be accompanying me?" (Y/N) asked. "Pythor was supposed to be supervising you but he seems to have upset Queen Selma something fierce, something about dereliction of duty." Siren exclaimed with dramatic glee.
"And this means?" (Y/N) asks. "Queen Selma herself has declared she will be the supervising attendant for this challenge to ensure that everything is kept above board. I have also been informed that Echo will be assuming her as well. The remaining members of the Treble Makers will be staying behind to guard Pythor to ensure no funny business is to befall due to his interference." Siren explained.
"I trust in the judgement of the council of the alliance." (Y/N) reported. "Ah, to think that will no longer be the main power in the lands for our kind soon you will be crowned Queen." The Siren of Seaguard chuckled in delight.
"As soon as you defeat all challengers and bring the one responsible for this mess before us." Siren quickly added. (Y/N) understood what the sea monster was getting at.
"I will do my duty." (Y/N) dutifully responded like the good little soldier she was.
"Good. Now hurry up. Queen Selma and Echo are waiting for you to summon Nidhogg to take you all to the selected battleground." Siren said. "The Nexo Knights have already travelled ahead with the Ninjas and will meet you there."
"The Lava Army will take its leave with you as a show of solidarity between monster kind." Siren said. "I'm leaving now. Although I'm sure everyone would love a little send-off before you leave." The Siren of Seaguard not so subtly hinted. "Break a leg, dear." And bid her a dew.
Once (Y/N) was sure she was gone. (Y/N) lent against the door and let out a big sigh.
(Y/N) opened her widow and shouted for Nidhogg. The undead dragon let out a roar from the distance to let her know he'd heard her summons and was taking flight.
(Y/N) sat down on the stool and stared into the mirror, at the carving of dragons devouring the Elemental Masters from Eris/Hela time and her own face framed in the centre of it all. So many expectations put on her by others. (Y/N) scowled silently to herself. Glad that she was the only one in the room right now.
She needed to clear her mind. She had to focus. (Y/N) closed her eyes and let out a long breath.

(Y/N) wanted to desperately bring honour and safety to her people but despite her hard efforts to be the one her people expects her to be a strong warrior that outlasts any expectations, no matter how painful it is to her. It never seemed enough.
"Chain me down,
My monsters,
Take from me,
My reason!"
(Y/N) glanced down at her right arm. Running her left hand over it with a forlorn look on her face.
"I can feel the imprint
A faint reminder,
Of a memory,"
For just a split second (Y/N) thought she saw Hela in the reflection of the mirror but after blinking a few times she realised she was mistaken. "I never escaped her, did I?" (Y/N) thought to herself. "I broke free from her, but I was still bound to her in my mind." She looked at her reflection. "I just go from one master to another."
"Take my sweet revenge now,
One the ones,
Who conspired to make me,
Like the blade I'm wielding,
I am spinning,
Through this misery,
I will take my death scythe,
And carve a future,
Through every enemy."
The pain, the anger, the hurt everything she'd suffered through her entire life was because of the choice the Elemental Masters made. They were responsible for it all!
"Chain me down,
My monsters,
Take from me,
My reason!"
There was no holding back now.
"I will not back down,
I will take you out."
(Y/N) punches the mirror causing the glass to crack and splinter. Her reflection is reflected off each other like it were glass.
"If I must abandon everything,
That once belonged to me,
I can make new memories,
You'll see,
I will forge new dreams."
For a brief second each shared showed one of the elements of evil before the mirror reflected the light and returned the reflection back to normal just showing (Y/N) face staring back at her.
"Chain me down,
My monsters,
Take from me,
my reason!"
(Y/N) slowly removed her fist from the mirror causing some of the splinters of glass to fall out. (Y/N) looked down at her fist. Not even a scratch.
"I will not back down,
I will take you out!"
Nidhogg let out a roar and (Y/N) stepped out of her window, falling through the air until she landed on the dragons' back.
"You will see my vision,
For my dark dominion!"
The Siren of Seaguared smiled to herself. Her little pep talk had worked wonders. Their girl was up and ready, full of fighting spirit.
(Third Person P.O.V)
__ Nexo Knights __
The Book of Monsters was sniffing the air like a predator searching for its prey. There was dark magic in the air, he was sure of it. Mixed in with something else he couldn't quite pick up on.
The Book of Monster gave a big grin. "Things are about to get interesting in the realm." He declared taking in a big whiff.
"I hope (Y/N) wins today." Jestro said out loud with a love-struck sigh. The cute yet revenge-driven jester had his head in the clouds and wasn't even listening to what his mentor was talking about.
Jestro's grin turns lazy, and his eyes flutter once before he speaks again. "She's just amazing." Jestro sighed again you could practically see love hearts in his eyes when he spoke of her. The Book of Monster rolled his eyes at Jestro.
The strategy around that girl could be summed up as: "the best defence is a strong offence." She walked around with an air of indifference, talks meaner than a viper, and for those who think lightly of her, cruelty is her specialty.
She has an attitude, she's knowledgeable, she's tough, and she acts removed from any positive human emotion. She might show a teensy smidgen of empathy and mercy but that is reserved only for those under her care. And is going to soon be placed in charge of a regime thirsty for revenge.
Right now she was something you wanted to be pointed at your enemies, not yourself. The Book of Monsters paused at that thought. "Pointed at your enemies." The Book of Monsters said out loud with a sadistic grin.
"Joke boy, I think I have an idea to be rid of those do-gooder knights." The Book of Monster declared cackling loudly to himself.
(Third Person P.O.V)
__ Nexo Knights __
When Nidhogg landed (Y/N) was surprised that none of the Nexo Knights were attending. But the Ninjas were already waiting for her arrival. "Nidhogg, get to a distance something is wrong." (Y/N) ordered her dragon.
Nidhogg obeyed and took off as soon as Queen Selma and Echo disembarked. Queen Selma looked to (Y/N). "Stay on guard. Something isn't right." (Y/N) explained to the Queen of the Serpentine. Queen Selma nodded that she understood and they proceeded as planned.
The chosen battlefield was the side of a cliff face. (Y/N) just rolled her eyes. "What did these foolish ninjas believe that recreating the similar surroundings too when she had to save Lloyd and his uncle from Nidhogg may produce a better outcome this time around." She scoffed to herself. "Idiots."
Lloyd was already waiting at the battleground, the ninja all surrounding him to give him their support.
"You'll do great." Kai told him slapping Lloyd on the back. "Yeah, you've got this." Jay agreed, ruffling Lloyd's silky golden locks. "I predict a seventy two percent success rate." Zane commented, assured in his calculations. "Looks like it's time. Good luck, nephew." Sensei Wu said and the Ninjas retreated to a safe observing distance.
Echo and Queen Selma shared a nervous look of concern as the two former partners in crime take defensive stances and prepare for battle against each other.
The two combatants stare each other down. Lloyd looked clearly uncomfortable with the idea of fighting (Y/N) while (Y/N) was focused on ploughing through her adversary as quickly as possible.
"(Y/N)." Lloyd said, breaking the strange silence of the area. With that, the battle begins with (Y/N) rushing forward to strike out against the Green Ninja. The two exchanged rapid blows, (Y/N) trying to quickly cut the green ninja down with her weapon and Lloyd deflecting her strikes.
The Ninja and Sensei Wu look on in horror. "She's become a lot more aggressive in her fighting style." Zane pointed out in worry for Lloyd's safety. "This isn't good." Sensei Wu said watching on as Lloyd continues to defect and dodge (Y/N)'s attacks.
"I told you he was ready." Nya said fearfully. She couldn't bear the thought of Lloyd getting hurt like this. It was too cruel and Lloyd had suffered enough in his life.
"Wow, she's fierce." Jestro shouted out in wonder. "It's those songs of hers, Joke boy." The Book of Monsters explained to the former court jester. "Those aren't really songs they're spells, spells she's been using to boost her skills like how the Nexo Knights use those Nexo powers of theirs."
The Book Keeper silently nodded along agreeing with what The Book of Monsters was saying.
Both Lloyd and (Y/N) parry each of their adversaries strikes with rapid speed, (Y/N) charges at Lloyd, making several aggressively quick, but futile swipes at Lloyd's head as he swiftly bobs away from the blade. Narrowing her gaze, (Y/N) flies towards him, and Lloyd blocks her attack. Locking weapons. Lloyd stares back at her as he tightly grips the hilt of his sword.
"(Y/N), Please listen to me. They don't care about you!" Lloyd begged her. "Really ninja?! This again!" She spat at Lloyd and pushed the blades close to Lloyd's neck.
These ninjas were insane; they couldn't just annoy her because the person they knew was dead. That was just wrong on so many levels but that didn't seem to be stopping them. (Y/N) vaguely wondered if they were sociopaths. "No (Y/N). I'll say it over and over until you understand what I am saying to you." Lloyd declared. She quickly snapped out of her ponderings about the ninjas.
"And you lot need to get it through your thick heads." (Y/N) explains sternly. (Y/N) headbutted Lloyd before striking at him with her sword. "Better yet you need it drilled into your heads!" (Y/N) declared, prepared to rub salt into the open wound.
Lyrics:
"Didn't ask to see the light of day,
We were created without a say,

But it shackled me like chains,

(Y/N) shoves Lloyd back a bit. He takes a defensive stance as she slowly approaches him.
"Did you come for absolution?
I have got none to give.

You came looking where I live,
I can see right through your intent,
I have nothing to give."
Lloyd throws a punch and a kick at (Y/N), who dodges them, while she continues to sing. The two proceed to clash blades, until (Y/N) kicks him back a distance.
"We all battle with our demons,
Everyone knows I battled mine.
Some trust the law to guide them,
Some trust in the divine.
I am neither I have never been,
I have only been myself.
My advice is simply gaze within,
Look at others, see yourself."
Lloyd proceeds forward and clashes swords with (Y/N) again. (Y/N) leaps up and swings around and clashes with Lloyd again. Lloyd dodges out of the way of (Y/N)'s attack.
"Did you come for absolution?
I have got none to give.
You must find your own solution,
Find a reason to forgive.
You came looking for atonement,
You came looking where I live.
I can see right through your intent,
I have nothing to give."
Lloyd delivers a series of quick slashes and knocks (Y/N) back a short distance. (Y/N) strikes back, after a while she manages to land a punch that Lloyd wasn't able to block, knocking him back a good distance.
"I can see the weight you carry,
It's the fear that burdens you,
Passing by a life you cherished,
You believed the lies they spewed,
You were pure once, you were stainless,
You had promise just like me,
They sustain your deepest bitterness,
It's yourself you cannot flee."
Lloyd tried his hardest not to cry. He didn't want to think about that right now. He had a job to do and all he had to do was hold on just a little longer.
"Did you come for absolution?
I have got none to give,
You must find your own solution.
Find a reason to forgive,
You came looking for atonement,
You came looking where I live,
I can see right through your intent,
I have nothing to give!"
Annoyed that she wasn't upsetting Lloyd enough to throw him off. (Y/N) rushes forward ready to strike. Lloyd manages to dodge the swing, then rolls away from a second. Lloyd lands two kicks before dodging a slash. (Y/N) brings the sword down but Lloyd rams her and she is knocked to the ground.
Lloyd manages to grab (Y/N) and pins her against the ground, huffing slightly. It was the opening he'd been looking for.
"Caring isn't a weakness. Feelings and emotions aren't weaknesses... It's what makes us human." Lloyd said strongly. "And yes, I know, you're only part human, but (Y/N) It's okay to feel, you hear me? Emotions are normal, they're constantly happening and they are most definitely not a weakness, do you understand me?" Lloyd pleaded with her.
(Y/N) gave the Green Ninja a rather unenthused look. Of course, she had emotions, dark emotions like anger and vengeance gave her power after all.
"Caring should not hurt." Lloyd said this evenly, unemotionally. It made (Y/N)'s throat tighten nonetheless. "And those you care about should not hurt you in return." Lloyd shouts at her.
(Y/N) squeezed her eyes shut, as Lloyd's words hit too deep.
As a half-human raised by monsters, (Y/N) had encountered little in the way of tolerance while she had been growing up.
When she was young, she'd hoped. She'd dreamed. That maybe one day she'd find her place amongst her people. Maybe she'd find those who understood. Maybe she wouldn't be alone anymore. But she quickly learnt she should have known better.
"The more you care, the more it hurts when they realize they don't give a shit about you and leave you behind. And don't act like you don't know this." (Y/N) spat.
Lloyd has (Y/N) pinned to the ground, trying to wrestle her sword away but she kicks him backwards towards a rock. As she jumps to her feet Lloyd gives the signal.
And someone pulls out a detonator.
They press the button and a loud beeping starts underneath them. A row of mines implanted into the wall of the rocky mountain. At once a line of charges go off underneath them and the mountain shelf begins to crumble.
Their blades clang loudly as they clash back and forth. As their blades lock, (Y/N) hears a distant explosion from behind her.
Lloyd and (Y/N) both suddenly realise that the ground is moving and look around to see the ground cracking and breaking as it falls towards the raging river below.
"RUN!" Lloyd screamed at the top of his voice, purely out of instinct.
(Y/N) and Lloyd tear across the shelf at top speed towards the ever-more distant ledge, leaping over the large cracks that were forming beneath them and side-stepping the sliding boulders coming right for them.
As they reach the edge of the shelf, the shelf cracks and falls into the water below taking the pair with it. Just as planned.
What was supposed to happen according to plan was that Lloyd and (Y/N) were supposed to be swept down the slow-moving river, pull themself out at a safe area downstream where the Nexo Knights would be waiting to help Lloyd talk to (Y/N) and send her back Ninjago with the ninja.
But the rushing water was moving thanks to the waves caused by the shelf cracking were faster than theory would have suggested, so fast in fact that the rapid river almost ripped Lloyd's shoes from his feet.
Lloyd and (Y/N) flattened themselves on the water and stuck their feet out in front of them to defend against rocks and other debris to kick off rocks and avoid getting caught on an underwater obstacle. Every so often Lloyd's or (Y/N) feet would hit something, sending them spinning and continuously pulling them under the rushing water.
As the river carried the pair they would go under for an agonisingly long time and then would feel the air on their face, take a deep breath and get pulled down again.
The pair got lucky at a bend in the river allowed them to drift toward a log wedged between two rocks, use it to brace themselves, and then climb out of the river.
Lloyd and (Y/N) collapsed on the riverbank desperately trying to regain their breath for ten minutes.
Lloyd brushed away the wet strands of her hair from her face. As he sat by her side waiting for her to regain her breath.
"When had this all gone wrong?" Lloyd thought to himself. "Chen's island. No, it was further than that... Zane's perceived death... No, it was before that too. It was the day at the lighthouse when they had left her behind." Lloyd bit his lip as the memory replayed itself over and over again in his mind.
There was some rustling sounds coming from the forest and out stepped a very familiar copper coloured nindroid.
"Echo? How'd you find us?" (Y/N) asked still slightly out of breath. "I followed the river." Echo answered honestly with his normally chipper voice. (Y/N) gave a small smile at the sound of Echo chipper voice. "I take it everyone else is also searching for us?" Lloyd asked. Echo nodded.
"They would have been here around the same time as I had arrived if Nidhogg hadn't taken off and the fact I am stream powered does help." Echo explained with a cheery smile.
"Are you ok?" Echo asked. "I'll be fine." She reassured him as she stood up on wobbly legs. "Don't know about him." (Y/N) commented jerking her head in Lloyd's direction. "I'm a bit soggy but otherwise ok." Lloyd commented back.
"Good, then we can continue our fight." (Y/N) said taking a fighting stance. Lloyd rolled his eyes. "Is that all you think about?" Lloyd asked in a humorous tone. "I will do my job." (Y/N) answered slightly annoyed at Lloyd not taking this seriously.
"But why is it your job?" Lloyd asked her standing up on his own wobbly legs.
"It is my raison d'etre." (Y/N) answered standing tall not lowering her guard for a moment. "The sole and ultimate purpose for my existence, to carry out the deeds of the one or ones that wield me as a weapon."
"You understand you are more than just a weapon, don't you?" Lloyd asked her. His eyes pleading with her to understand him.
"Pythor said you're the same, isn't it your job to protect your realm?" (Y/N) countered. "Maybe you should leave this realm and go back to your own. You have duties and responsibilities there. You shouldn't be putting them aside for this fruitless mission of harassment in the name of a dead girl."
(Y/N) watched with smug satisfaction as Lloyd's face filled with pain that poured out so potently to cause him to bend over and gasp in pain. "Pythor sure knows exactly what to say to upset the ninja. Looks like he took the phrase; know your enemy to heart." (Y/N) thought to herself.
"You're wrong!" Lloyd snapped at her, clenching his fist in determination. "You're standing right in front of me." Lloyd declared with complete certainty in his voice.
"Your argument is flawed, ninja. You are making an assumption that the (Y/N) you knew is the same as the one before you." (Y/N) countered again with a slight cocky smile.
"That is not true." Lloyd yelled at her. "The (Y/N) I knew was compassionate to those who had no one else. Who did what she thought was right even if others thought it was wrong. She protected and supported others." Lloyd continued to shout.
"Like who, you? That worked out so well for her didn't it?" (Y/N) commented with a sneer. It felt good to get under this ninja's skin. "The (Y/N) you knew was some frightened weakling who had forgotten her duty to her people and wound up helping the very evil that put her peoples lives on a path of misery." (Y/N) spat at him.
"(Y/N) stop." Echo pleaded with her and she did, she didn't want to but she did. "Why?" Lloyd said quietly. "Why won't you just talk to us? To me? We want to make this right. So why?" Lloyd pleaded with her to just tell him what he needed to do or say to get her to stop this.
"I cannot give you what you deny yourself." (Y/N) said shaking her head at the green ninja.
"What?" Lloyd questioned not understanding what she was saying.
"Look for the solution from within if you're looking for some absolution for what you've done." (Y/N) said frankly. "I can't help you." And turned to leave. Lloyd was about to let her when something in the distance caught his eye.
"Wait!" Lloyd called out, stopping her from leaving.
She stops and patiently waits for what he has to say. Although, for some reason, he can't bring himself to say what he would like to. He would open his mouth but nothing came out.
"Lloyd." She says a little impatiently. Lloyd sighs and takes a deep breath. "Forgive me for my deception." Lloyd said, bowing his head. "But I wanted to talk to you in private without eyes on us."
"There are always eyes on us." (Y/N) coldly stated to the Green Ninja. "Even now?" Lloyd asked raising an eyebrow in disbelief. Surely she wasn't being serious.
"Even now." (Y/N) affirmed. Lloyd could tell by the look on her face that she wasn't lying. Lloyd flinches a little as he took in (Y/N)'s words. No doubt realising the implication in those words.
"Well, it's a good thing I brought back up, Knights." Lloyd called out to the brush. Out stepped the Nexo Knights from their hiding places, surrounding (Y/N) and Lloyd in all directions. "Sorry, we're late." Clay apologised. "You totally overshot the rendezvous point." Aaron explained with a grin.
"So the shelf was you." (Y/N) said with a knowing look. "I said sorry." Lloyd pointed out.
"Merlok! Nexo Knights!" The Nexo Knights shouted together. Summoning their nexo power through their shields.
"Get ready for Nexo Scan!" Came Merlok 2.0 reply. "Shield from prying eyes."
A dark dome covered the trio. Reacting quickly, (Y/N) went to cut through it with her sword and the blow created giant swirls of energy around the dome, but otherwise did nothing. The Nexo Knights had erected some kind of magical infused force field.
Echo had a nervous look on his faceplate. "I asked the knights to help so we could have a private conversation just in case the distance plan didn't work." Lloyd admitted putting the copper nindroid at somewhat of at ease.
"You do know this outside help disqualifies you from the tournament, right?" (Y/N) questioned the green ninja. "I'm aware." Lloyd answered honestly.
"Now, Zane said you were trying to tell him something." Lloyd asked with a serious tone.
"If that is all you are asking about you could have just asked any of the sea monsters then going through all this trouble." (Y/N) stated, shaking her head at the green ninja.
"I believe Hela may still be among us."
(Third Person P.O.V)
__ Nexo Knights __
Nidhogg effortlessly glides in for a landing in the courtyard of Dark Tower Castle, yawning and stretching like a cat. The undead dragon starts to knead its claws into the ground before curling up to take a nap.
The loud thump its body makes as it flips down shakes the foundations of the castle alerting everyone to Nidhogg's return.
"It's about time!" Pythor declares throwing a set of doors wide open as he does so. "So did you annihilate that green ninja pest." Pythor demanded but was shocked to discover that (Y/N) was not present.
"What? Where is she, you overgrown lizard!" Pythor hissed at Nidhogg. Nidhogg gave Pythor a dirty look and Pythor immediately backed away. He'd already been eaten by the great devourer he didn't want to find out what being eaten by a dragon would feel like too.
"Easy big guy." Pythor gulped. "Just worried about (Y/N). You know the girl you're always with." Pythor explained back-peddling slightly as he did.
Nidhogg paused for a moment as if he was thinking something over. Pythor hoped it wasn't about eating him or not.
Nidhogg sat up, leaning forward. Pythor let out a terrified yelp as Nidhogg took Pythor in his teeth and sets out to find (Y/N). Pythor screaming all the way.
(Third Person P.O.V)
__ Nexo Knights __
Lloyd stared wide-eyed at her. "Hela as in your creator?" Lloyd questioned with a serious tone in his voice. "Do you know of another?" (Y/N) asked. "Uh, no. I guess not." Lloyd answered with a slight chuckle.
"Why do you believe Hela is still around?" Lloyd questioned her. "Because of this." (Y/N) declared showing him her right arm. "Your birthmark?" Lloyd questioned. "No, what is hidden in plain sight by it." (Y/N) stated. "Your birthmark is helping hide something?" Lloyd repeated making sure he got it right.
"I am a weapon bound to the whims of the one or ones that wields me." (Y/N) said taking one of Echo's hands into her right one. Lloyd paused for a moment.
"I got lucky with the sea monsters." (Y/N) truthfully commented with a slight shrug. "I was able to defy Hela somehow and was able to choose the orders and desires of the sea monsters over hers."
"I don't understand." Lloyd answered he could hardly keep up with what she was trying to tell him. "Truly, neither do I." (Y/N) responded with a forlorn sigh. It wasn't as though she had some grand understanding of all of this. It was Hela's master plan after all. Not hers.
(Third Person P.O.V)
__ Nexo Knights __
The Nexo Knights Nexo powers were failing. Sweat pouring down their faces as they keep their shields up.
"Gross!" Lance whined like a child in the way that only made someone want to punch him in the face. "I'm all sweaty!" "Shut up Lance!" Macy hissed back. "Phew! You stink worse than that time we found you in that pigpen, man!" Aaron gagged at the smell. "Aaron's right." Axl agreed, pulling a grossed-out face.
"Will you all knock it off!" Clay snapped at them. "Easy for you to say, Clay dude. You're not standing downwind from El' stinko." Aaron hissed back and gagging slightly.
"Stop complaining Aaron." Macy chided the green nexo knight. The Nexo Knights began to bicker, losing concentration and allowing the dome to weaken just as Nidhogg came in for a river landing completely drenching the unprepared Nexo Knights.
The dome disintegrates freeing the trio trapped inside (Y/N) goes to leave but stops and turns back to the Green Ninja.
"I'm sorry for your loss." (Y/N) said, knowing her words were inadequate but it was something that needed to be said. "She meant a lot to you. But I'm not her. Make peace with what you've done."
Lloyd didn't answer. He continued to look down below with hurt written all over his face. "I have to go" (Y/N) said turning to leave.
"Of course..." Lloyd whispered under his breath, his voice feeling small as he watched the love of his life leave him behind.
Echo waved goodbye to the green ninja. "Hey, Echo. Before you go I need to ask you something. Did anything happen to (Y/N) while she was on the island with you?" Lloyd asked the copper nindroid before he left with (Y/N).
Echo hesitated for a moment before saying. "She died." Echo said as (Y/N) climbed up onto Nidhogg's back.
"SHE WHAT!?" Lloyd yelled, disturbing everyone slightly and causing Echo to flinch at the loud tone in Lloyd's voice. "She died." Echo repeated himself. "But I was able to revive her." Echo quickly added thinking that would calm Lloyd down.
She had leapt to her death for him... With that Lloyd burst into tears. She had leapt to her death for him... That moment repeated itself over and over again in Lloyd's mind. The Nexo Knight immediately went to his side to help the green ninja.
Lloyd continued to wail and sob on the ground. The Nexo Knight trying to help him up.
"Aren't you going to destroy him?" Pythor demanded as Echo made his way to Nidhogg. (Y/N) looked back at Lloyd and shook her head. "He's a sobbing mess. Let him be." (Y/N) says softly to Pythor and reaching down to pull Echo up.
"I've won. Now, it is just the Lava Army to contend with." (Y/N) declared turning her attention to Jestro now that Lloyd was defeated.
"Actually, we've decided that that isn't necessary." Jestro explained to the stunned crowd. "You've shown your tribe is strong. So you don't need our help. Plus having to separate armies with monsters means more trouble for the Nexo Knights." Jestro listed off his reasoning for his discussion.
"Well, then it is decided. (Y/N) has won the tournament and will be crowned Queen of Monsters."
