Nash's POV:
I glanced over at Lexi and Lauren to notice both on the cold floor passed out...
I stopped completely what I was doing and ran off stage to them. I got down on my knees and shaked* Lexi but she didn't move. I went and shaked* Lauren and she didn't move either.
Nash: "Cameron!!"
Cam looks back at me and then Lexi and Lauren...I could tell he was shocked.
Cameron: " What happened!?!"
Nash: "I don't know but I tried to wake them up!"
Cameron: "MATT CALL 911 NOW!"
All of the fans and the guys looked at us and then noticed Lexi and Lauren on the floor
I heard a multiple screams and many "OMG WHAT HAPPENED?!?!"
Bart:" Stay calm everyone. Under the sudden circumstances Magcon has to end early. Sorry but its for your own safety."
The security guards quickly exported all the fans out.
Then soon enough the ambulance came busting into the room with stretchers and paramedics. They strapped in Lexi and Lauren into a gurneys and I quickly followed with Cameron. I got in Lexi's ambulance while Cameron got in Laurens.
I couldn't help but stare at my sister while the paramedics worked on her, putting wires and tubes around her. And looking at the equipment and how it showed her heartbeat and how it beeped very loud when her heartbeat was low. Just to see her cold lifeless body in front of me filled me with guilt and regret. I feel like I'm such a terrible person. I should of been there for her. This. is. all. my. fault. If she dies I couldn't live with my self, knowing that I could of helped her, but I couldn't. I couldn't live without my sister... neither could Skylynn.... or Hayes..... or Will. Then I heard something very faint that I could barely head over the beeps of machines.... A paramedic with blue scrubs got closer and whispered something in Lexi's ear...
Paramedic: " Hears the secret baby, if you live, if you die, its all up to you. So whatever fight you got in you you got to pull it out now."
I didn't notice I was crying until a tear fell on my hand. I looked in the reflection of the glass and realized tears were streaming down my face and my eyes were puffy and red.
Next thing I knew was the truck stopped and they immediately got out and together pulled Lexi out still on the gurney. I was running to keep up with them tears still running down my face. I was almost through a set of doors until a secretary stopped me...
Secretary: " Sir, you cant go back there yet!"
I didn't feel like arguing....
Nash ( congested ): " Where do I wait?"
Secretary: " third floor to your right."
I started walking until I heard the clash of wheels and the loud steps of several people. It was Lauren making her way to the ER.
Cameron: " WOAH... Nash are you ok?"
Nash: " Does it look like I'm ok?"
Cameron: " No."
Nash: " Lets go to the waiting room."
Cameron: " Where is that at?"
Nash: " Just, follow me."
Lexi's POV:
I realize now that dying is easy. Living is the hard part. I couldn't move, I could barely breath, I couldn't even open my eyelids. I was fragile and mindless of how I got here. The only glimpse of hope that I held on to was my hearing. I could hear everything that was going on. Which is kinda scary because I cant see but... Its the only thing I really have right now so...
Cameron's POV:
When we got to the waiting area it was a small little space with grey plastic chairs right next to a set of doors that say " Do not enter". I sat down on the chair next to Nash. I looked at him... he looked devastated. I've never seen him like this before, he had blood shot eyes and he slightly shaking.
Cameron: " She's going to be fine."
Nash: " But what if she isn't."
Cameron: " We should call your mom and dad."
Nash: " Oh yeah, let me do that real quick."
Nash's POV:
*Dialing*
Mom: " Nash?"
Nash: " Hey mom, I don't know how to say this but... Lexi is in the hospital.
Mom: " WHAT?"
Nash: " Yep."
Mom: " Why?"
Nash: " I don't know, we were at Magcon one minute she's sitting at the table the next she's on the floor not waking up."
Mom: " I'll book our flight as soon as possible."
Nash: " Our?"
Mom: " Your stepdad, Sylynn, Will, and I."
Nash: " Ok."
Mom: " Ok, bye."
Nash: " Wait."
Mom: " What?"
Nash: " I love you."
Mom: " I love you too Nash."
*End of call*
*Dialing*
Dad: " Hey Nash!"
Nash: " So something happened."
Dad: " I already know. Your mom told me I'm looking at flights now."
Nash: " Ok, come as fast as possible."
Dad: " I'll try and get Nila packed."
Nash: " Hurry!"
*End of call*
Cameron: " So how did it go?"
Nash: " Good, there're booking flights now."
Cameron: " I texted the guys. They said they're around the corner."
Nash: " Cam?"
Cameron: " Yeah?"
Nash: " I feel like this is all my fault."
Cameron: " This is not any of our fault whatsoever. You couldn't control the situation at all... none of this is your fault."
Nash: " Thanks man."
*All the guys come into the waiting room*
Carter: " Nash, are you ok?"
Nash: " Yeah."
Jack G: " So, did they found out what happened to Lexi?"
Sam: " She's been here for like ten minutes.. of course they didn't find out."
Aaron: " What about Lauren?"
Shawn: " Yeah, what happened to Lexi happened to Lauren too. Just because a lot of you don't like her doesn't mean she didn't get hurt too."
*Nurse walks in *
Nurse: " So, we haven't found out what's wrong with them yet do any of you have an idea what happened to them?"
Nash: " All I remember is Lauren got really tired then Lexi did."
Nurse: " Hmmm..."
Taylor: " I could hear them from my table the was next to theirs... they said something about a headache."
Nurse: " Did anyone contact their parents?"
Nash: " I called my mom and dad."
Nurse: " Can someone call Lauren's parents?"
Shawn: " I'll do it."
Nurse: "Ok, I'll let you know when we have any news."
*Nurse leaves*
Matt: " So, what do you think happened?"
Jack J: " I don't know?"
Hayes: " I didn't see them do anything different."
Mahogany: " What about when they came back from the crowd?"
Cameron: " I don't think it has anything to do with that."
Jack G: " You never know..."
*Nash's phone rings *
Nash: " Hello?"
Mom: " Ok so I called your dad... we will be there by the early morning.
Nash: " Ok love you. bye."
*End of call*
~ Later ~
Jack G's POV:
Cameron: " It's getting late."
Matt: " Yeah, some of us should go back to the hotel and get some sleep."
Nash: " I'm staying."
Cameron: " Are you sure?"
Nash: " Yes."
Cameron: " Fine I'll stay with you."
Jack G: " Yeah, I'll stay too."
Sam: " Me too."
Jack G: " Sam, you've had a long day you should go back to the hotel."
Sam: " But I'm not going to..."
* Other boys leave*
I didn't feel like getting in a fight with Sam right now plus Nash was sitting right there and I didn't feel like Nash flipping out on me. I didn't really feel like anything right now...
Cameron: " Hey, what time is it?"
Jack G: " Its 11:30pm."
Nash: " We should go to sleep so the nurses and staff don't get mad at us for being loud."
Sam: " How are we supposed to sleep in these crappy chairs."
Jack G: " If you went back to the hotel we wouldn't have this problem."
Sam: " Pshhhh."
I just shrugged it off and passed out...
~ Next day~
9:00pm
Nash's POV:
I woke up from an exited Skylynn, all the guys and my parents.
Skylynn: " Nashhhhh."
Nash: " Sky!"
I got up and Skylynn clinged to my leg and wouldn't let go, but it was cute so i left her alone.
Mom ( Elizabeth) : " So how's Lexi doing?"
Nash: " I don't know they haven't told us anything more yet."
Mom ( Elizabeth): " Well all the guys are here and your father and Nila too."
Then a man wearing blue scrubs came through the ER doors walked towards us.
Doctor: " Hello, I'm Dr. Roberts and I am operating on Lexi and Lauren. So apparently they have been poisoned. Once a poison gets into the blood stream it is carried throughout the whole body as the blood is pumped by the heart. Some poisons are changed by the body into other chemicals. These are called metabolites, and may be less poisonous or more poisonous than the original substance. The metabolites are more easily passed out of the body than the original chemical. These changes take place mostly in the liver. So Lauren has metabolites so after awhile once her body starts flowing again with the help of medicine she will be back to normal.
Nash: " What about Lexi?"
Doctor: " Um... She has a rare poison...
Nash: " Huh?"
Doctor: " Basically it can be injected in the body though consuming it, and if not treated immediately it can lead to death."
Dad ( Chad) : " Is Lexi going to be ok?"
Doctor: " I don't know. I'll do the best I can. But she's asleep now so if you want some of you can see her; but only a few at a time.
With that he walked out away and back through the doors.
We went inside her room to check how she's doing... I really hope she's ok.
Skylynn: " Do you think she's gonna be ok Nash?"
I picked her up and kissed her on the cheek
Nash: " Yea Sky, Lexi is gonna be ok."
I put her down and held her hand while we walked down the aisle, I opened the door, the second Skylynn saw her she ran and hugged her.
Skylynn: " Can I sit here please?"
She pointed where Lexi was laying and I picked her up.
Skylynn: " Hi Lexi ( tearing up ) when you wake up, we're gonna paint horses and go to our ranch and ride our horses ( giggles while tearing up ) were gonna eat gummy horses and RIDE HORSES IN SKYLYNN WORLD... And I'll give you that makeover that's I did just like Nash (giggles) you rememmber that Nash?
Nash: yea (smiles)
Skylynn: "Lexi how about if I sing to you?"
