May and Iris are in the middle of a heated battle, with only one pokémon each.
"Blaziken! Can you still battle?" asked May.
"Blaziken!" said Blaziken.
"Dragonite, Dragon Rush!" said Iris.
Dragonite starts to use Dragon Rush.
"Wait for it..." said May.
Dragonite is getting closer.
"Now! Dodge it!" said May.
Blaziken dodges the Dragon Rush.
Dragonite makes contact with the ground.
"End this with a series of Blaze Kicks!" said May.
"Blaziken!" said Blaziken.
Blaziken is using Blaze Kicks mercilessly.
"Dragonite!" shouted Iris.
"Throw him in the air!" said May.
Blaziken throws Dragonite in the air.
"Sky Uppercut!" said May.
Blaziken uses Sky Uppercut.
"Dragonite!" shouted Iris.
"Dragonite is unable to battle! May is the winner!" said the referee.
"Thanks, Dragonite..." said Iris while retrieving Dragonite.
"We did it! Thanks Blaziken!" said May, hugging Blaziken.
"That was an intense battle!" said May, smiling.
"It sure was!" said Iris, smiling.
The day continues, with Miette winning her battle in a close call.
The last battle of the day is going to be Cilan versus Dawn.
The battle is about to begin.
"Trainers, each trainer will use 2 pokémon, alright?" asked the referee.
"Okay!" said Dawn.
Cilan nods, smiling.
"So, let's start!" said the referee.
"Quilava, I need your help!" shouted Dawn while throwing a pokéball into the air.
"Pansage, help me out here!" shouted Cilan while throwing a pokéball into the air.
"Lava!" said Quilava while entering the field.
"Pansage!" said Pansage while entering the field.
"Ladies first!" said Cilan.
"Thanks!" said Dawn.
"Quilava, Flamethrower!" said Dawn.
"Quilava!" said Quilava while using Flamethrower.
"Dodge it with Dig!" said Cilan.
"Pansage!" said Pansage.
Pansage dodges the attack with dig.
"Quilava, use Flame Wheel exactly where you are!" said Dawn.
"Quilava!" said Quilava while using Flame Wheel stationary.
Cilan looks confused.
"Pansage!" said Pansage coming out of the ground.
Pansage hits Quilava's Flame Wheel.
Pansage falls to the ground.
"Flamethrower!" said Dawn.
"Lava!" said Quilava.
Quilava's Flamethrower makes contact.
"Pansage!" shouted Cilan.
"Pansage is unable to battle! Quilava is the winner!" said the referee.
"Your battling is still the most tasteful I have ever seen... Have a good rest now..." said Cilan while retrieving Pansage.
"Now! My last pokémon! Crustle, I choose you!" shouted Cilan while throwing a pokéball to the air.
"Crustle!" shouted Crustle while entering the field.
"Ladies first!" said Cilan, smiling.
"Thanks!" said Dawn.
"Quilava, Flamethrower!" said Dawn.
"Quilava!" said Quilava.
"Dodge it, Crustle!" said Cilan.
"Crus!" said Crustle.
Crustle dodges the attack.
"Rock Slide!" said Cilan.
"Crustle!" saod Crustle while using Rock Slide.
"Dodge it!" said Dawn.
"Qui-" Quilava was saying.
Crustle's Rock Slide makes contact.
"Finish it! X-Scissor!" said Cilan.
"Crustle!" said Crustle.
Crustle's X-Scissor makes contact.
"Quilava!" shouted Dawn.
"Quilava is unable to battle! Crustle is the winner!" said the referee.
"Thanks Quilava, you did your best..." said Dawn.
"Now! My last pokémon... Mamoswine, I choose you!" shouted Dawn while throwing a pokéball to the air.
"Mamoswine!" shouted Mamoswine.
"Ladies first!" said Cilan.
"Thanks!" said Dawn.
"Mamoswine, Ice Shard!" said Dawn.
"Mamos!" said Mamoswine.
"Dodge it!" said Cilan.
Crustle dodges the attack.
"Mamoswine, Ice Fang!" said Dawn.
"Dodge it again!" said Cilan.
Crustle dodges the attack once again.
Dawn is visibly frustrated.
"It's evaluation time!" shouted Cilan.
Dawn looks curious to Cilan.
"Here we come..." said an unimpressed Iris in the stands.
"Your battle style is very spicy, but for a perfect recipe you still need something to balance that spicyness... Thus, I think my Crustle is still a more balanced dish for our main course!" said Cilan.
Dawn looks like she is hearing what Cilan is saying and becoming thoughtful.
"He talks really beautifully... Maybe May is right... Maybe he is someone that I should try to have something..." Dawn thought.
"Crustle! Let's put on some spice on our dish! Shell Smash!" said Cilan.
Dawn is caught off guard.
"Crustle!" said Crustle while jumping of its rock.
Crustle uses Shell Smash.
"Now! Rock Slide!" said Cilan.
"Crustle!" said Crustle while using Rock Slide.
"Dodge it Mamoswine!" said Dawn.
Mamoswine is hit by Crustle's Rock Slide.
Mamoswine is surrounded by rocks.
"Finish it with X-Scissor!" said Cilan.
"Crustle!" said Crustle.
Crustle's X-Scissor makes contact.
"Mamoswine!" shouted Dawn.
"Mamoswine is unable to battle! Crustle is the winner!" said the referee.
"Thanks Mamoswine... I got caught off guard..." said Dawn while retrieving Mamoswine.
Cilan smiles amd retrieves Crustle.
"It was a very good battle!" said Cilan, smiling.
"It sure was!" said Dawn, smiling.
Both head back to meet their friends.
"All the battles were amazing!" said Sawyer when he saw Miette, Iris, Cilan, Dawn and May.
"Thanks!" said everyone.
"He is right!" said Serena, smiling.
"So, let's head back to the pokécenter?" asked Serena.
"Let's go!" said Miette.
"I want to walk a bit in the city..." said Dawn.
"Be careful..." said a worried Cilan.
"You want anyone to come with you?" asked May.
"No, this time I want to think by myself..." said Dawn.
Cilan looks worried.
"Don't forget to be careful..." said Cilan.
"Okay..." said Dawn.
Dawn starts walking towards the city center.
Everyone head to the pokécenter.
Dawn is looking to a river, thinking about Cilan.
"Hey, Dawn?" asked a familiar voice.
"Cilan? Why are you here?" asked Dawn.
"I just wanted to see if you're okay..." asked Cilan.
"You don't look very well..." said Cilan in a worried tone.
"Was it because of something I said?" asked Cilan.
"No... It was something May said, actually..." said Dawn.
"I understand... There's no problem if you don't want to talk about it with me..." said Cilan.
"I think you should know..." said Dawn.
"She saw us saying goodbye last night... She thinks that I like you or the other way around..." said Dawn.
"But I don't know exactly if I feel that way..." said Dawn.
Cilan smiles.
"You don't need to worry about her! If you don't feel anything for me, that's fine... And if I don't feel anything for you that's also fine! Don't let her pressure affect you..." said Cilan, smiling.
"I know... But I'm not sure if I feel something towards you..." said Dawn.
"Let things happen... If you feel something, we can always talk about it! You know that I don't have any problem talking about that!" said Cilan, smiling.
"Thanks Cilan!" said Dawn, hugging Cilan.
Cilan hugs Dawn back.
"I have to go now... Take care.." said Cilan.

Cilan starts walking away.
Dawn is thinking about what Cilan told her.
"Dawn?" asked a familiar voice.
Dawn turns to see the familiar voice.
"Miette!" said Dawn.
"He sure is a lovely person, isn't he?" asked Miette.
"Yes..." said Dawn.
"But I'm not sure if things would work out for me and him... I'm not sure if I like him or not..." said Dawn, looking to the floor.
"You don't have to pressure yourself! If you feel something for him, you'll see earlier or later... It won't matter at the end..." said Miette.
"What do you think?" asked Dawn.
"I personally think that you don't have feelings for him at the moment... But you surely can start to feel something for him in the future..." said Miette.
"I think you're right..." said Dawn.
"So, let's go back to the pokécenter?" asked Miette.
"Let's go..." said Dawn, looking to the floor.
They both head to the pokécenter.
