He sighed "why?"
Me "To save Sam and Dean we all are going to have to give everything. and i can't give everything when she's around"
Cass "she doesn't know you are a half demon, does she?"
I shook my head "no, she doesn't"
Cass nodded "now everything makes sense. "
I looked down.
Cass nodded "i fully understand you, Elena. But .."
Suddenly the front door of the bunker opened.
I clenched my jaw "but you already called her, didn't you?"
Cass nodded, sighing "yes"
I glared at him when Mary walked down the stairs.

I shook my head "Dean told me to go. The woman-"
Mary " The one you lost?"
Cass shook his head " we didn't. I... I thought that she--"
Mary yelled "Stop making excuses."
I raised an eyebrow at her.
Cas looked down.
Mary sighed " Why... if they needed help, why didn't they call me?"
Me "Because you weren't here, Mary "
She sighed "How did we let this happen, Elena?"
At a restaurant.
I groaned annoyed " Come on, Crowley. The police took them. You have people in the government. You have spies."
He nodded " I do. But whatever's happened to Moose and Squirrel, apparently, it's above their pay grade."
I asked confused " Do you even care that they're gone?"
he shook his head " No. Do you know how many all-powerful beings have tried to kill them?"
I nodded "Roughly, yes. Because they went after me too"
Crowley "As do I. I was bloody one of them. "
I sighed "Crowley, i am Alastair's daughter, is there nothing i could do?"
Crowley shook his head.
I looked down.

Six weeks later. at a bar.
Mary " Thanks for meeting me. I just wanted to say I'm sorry. I was angry, and... Sam and Dean, that's not your fault."
I shook my head "No, you were right. I should never have left them. I- Have you heard anything?"
Mary "All my law enforcement contacts are retired, or... dead. I'm trying, but... You?"
I shook my head "nothing. And Cass just as empty as we are"
Mary "I keep telling myself they're fine. They've only been gone--"
Me "Six weeks, two days, and ten hours."
Mary " We'll find them, Elena. We will. "
I nodded "i know. But that's not was scares me"
She looked at me confused.
Me "what scares me is if we will find them alive or dead"
Mary nodded, knowing what i was talking about.
Me "i love him, Mary. "
Mary nodded "i know. and thank you"
i looked at her confused.
Mary "for being there for them when i couldn't. Thank you for protecting them throughout all these years. "
Me "well, you wouldn't be thanking me if you knew the amount of times died "
She nodded amused "you know what i mean. Thank you for loving my boys. For loving Dean. He loves you and i am happy for him"
I smiled "thank you, Mary"
She nodded.
At the bunker.
I walked up to Cass who was sitting there staring at his phone.
Me "Cass"
Cass "where's MAry?"
Me "handling a job in Missouri. Vampires"
He nodded.
I put a hand on his chest "starring holes in your phone is not going to bring them back, Cass"
Cass nodded "i know. But i don't know what else to do"
I nodded "i feel the same way"
Cass looked eyed me "you should go to bed. You look tired"
I nodded "yeah, you're right. "
Cass "don't worry, Elena, if there's anything i will wake up"
I nodded "thank you"
Then i patted his shoulder before walking to my bedroom.

I groaned annoyed when i heard my phone go off.
I reached out to grab it and looked at it.
Unknown number.
I answered "What?"
Dean "hey doll"
My jaw dropped and sat up "no way"
Dean "did i wake you, doll? hope you were dreaming about me"
I let the tears roll down my cheek "oh my god"
Dean nodded "i miss you, babe. so much. Sammy says hi"
Me "What... What happened? Wh-- where are you?"
Dean " You wouldn't believe me, and I have no clue. Uh...Okay, looks like we're in Colorado."
Sam"In Rocky Mountain National Park. Uh, if we head north we should hit State Route 34. Eventually."
Dean "Did you get that?"
I nodded "Yes."
Dean " All right, meet us there."
Me " Wait, where?"
Dean "Just drive along the road and you'll see us. And, Len... We're kinda on the clock here. I love you"
Then he hung up.
I looked at the phone, shocked.
Suddenly i heard "Is he okay?"
I jumped, scared "fucking hell, Cass, don't scare me like that!"

Cass nodded "yes. And i've already contacted Mary. She will meet us in Colorado"

Mary got out of the car.
Cas " You got here quickly."
Mary nodded " Yep. What do you think we're walking into?"
Cas shook his head " I don't know."
Mary " We may want backup."
Cass "Crowley and Rowena"
Mary asked amused " The King of Hell and his mother? The witch? Hope we can do better than demons"
Cass looked at me and looked down.
Mary looked at us confused "wha-what am i missing here?"
Cass "Elena, do you want me to-"
I looked at Mary "I'm part demon"
Mary froze "what?"
Me "i am not completely human. i'm a crossbreed"
Her jaw dropped.
Me " Bobby Singer found me and raised when i was 8. I was raised to be hunter "
Cass "and she's Alastair's offspring"
I shot Cass a look "thank you, Castiel"
Cass nodded "your welcome"
Mary took a step back shocked "and Sam and Dean.."
I nodded "they know. Well, at first they found out that i was supernatural. Later i found out who my birth father was and then they found out. They accepted me and they trusted me. "
She nodded.
Me "You husband, John knew i wasn't normal, the knew it the second Bobby took me in. He trusted me enough to ask me to protect his sons and that's what i did. "
Mary "you're part demon"
Me "i know it's hard right now. But we need to find Sam and Dean. And after that, do what you want"
Mary nodded.
At a forest road.
Mick and Ketch were there.
Mary " This is your idea? The people that almost killed you and my boys? They're gonna be our backup? Suddenly the demon and his mommy don't look so bad."
Cass "They helped us with Lucifer."
Mick asked surprised "Lucifer? The Lucifer?"
Cass nodded " Yes."
Mick froze " Wait, so you're telling me what happened in Indianapolis was you took on the bleedin' devil himself?"
Cass nodded "Yes."
Ketch "Did you win?"
I nodded "of course"
Mick and Ketch shared a very impressed glance at one another.
Ketch nodded "Bravo."
Mary "But... Sam and Dean were taken. We think we can get them back, but we need... help."
Mick nodded " So we'll help".
Mary asked confused " Really? Just like that?"
Mick "Mrs. Winchester-- Mary... I came to this country to do one thing-- Make friends. But you American hunters, you're... you're a different breed than our sort. You're surly. Suspicious. You don't play well with others."
Cass "Well, that is accurate."
Mick "You don't trust people you don't know, even when they come bearing gifts. Now I can't help that, but I can help you. And if word were to get out that we did our part to save Sam and Dean Winchester, well, that's just good business, innit? And who knows? When all this is over, we might even be friends."
Me "We think Sam and Dean were being held somewhere in the Rocky Mountain National Forest."
Ketch " Site 94? It's a government facility, off books. Shadow ops. One of those places that officially doesn't exist."
Mary asked confused "Then how do you know about it?"
Mick " We gather information. It's our job."
Cass "They told us to meet them off State Route 34."
Ketch " Well, that's a long stretch of road. Where, exactly?"
I shook my head "I'm not sure."
Mick "I'll get our techs to put a satellite over the area."
Mary asked surprised "You can do that?"
Mick nodded, amused " And so much more."
They started to walk.
Ketch held me back ""Do you have any idea what sort of trouble we're walking into?"
I shook my head " i have do idea"
Ketch nodded " Oh, good. I do like a surprise."
Night. At a clearing.
Cas and i heard a rumble in the bushes.
The boys walked over to me.
Me "boys!"
Sam hugged me, relieved "Len"
I hugged him back, smiling.
Then he moved to hug Cas while i rushed over to Dean and hugged him.
He hugged me back, picking me up "oh, doll, how much i missed you"
I smiled "i love you too, handsome"
He looked at me and kissed me.
I kissed him back.
Sam "Mom."
I broke the kiss and looked at Sam who hugged Mary.
Dean hugged Cass " Hey, buddy."
Then he hugged Mary.

We were walking through the woods. We were on our way back to Mary's car.
Sam asked confused " Mom, how did y'all even find us?"
Mary " They helped."
Mick nodded " Hello, lads."
Cas " They have a thermal imaging satellite that saw you. From space."
Mick grimaced " Well, we don't have one. Just borrowed it for a bit. Friends in all the right places."
Dean " Well, I guess this is where we're supposed to say thank you."
Mick shook his head " No need. Happy to be of service."
Ketch added " Again."
Sam nodded " Okay, then. We should get . The people we left, they'll call for backup any second."
Ketch asked confused " Uh, you left survivors?"
Sam nodded.
Cas looked at Sam and then Dean.
Dean "They were soldiers, just doing what they were told."
Ketch nodded, grimacing " Still... a bit unprofessional."
Sam nodded "We'll handle it. Let's get "
Dean glared at ketch.
In the car.
Dean " So wait, you're hunting?"
Mary nodded " A little bit."
Sam " Yeah, I knew you couldn't stay away."
The radio turned on, static crackled, the GPS screen flashed from 11:59 to 12:00, and the car suddenly lost all power and the engine sputtered.
Sam "It's time."
Dean looked at us guilty before looking away.
We got out of the car.
Mary asked confused " What's happening?"
Billie showed up with her arms crossed " Yeah, Dean. 'Sup."
Mary asked confused "Billie?"
Cas " The reaper?"
Mary shook her head " I don't understand."
I looked at Dean "what did you do?"
Dean sighed "Len... that place... there was only one way we were getting out of there, and that wasn't breathing. "
Dean " So I made a call."
I shook my head "you didn't"
Dean reached out to me but i moved back.
Sam "And we made a deal. We'd get to die and come back one more time, but in exchange..."
Billie "Come midnight, a Winchester goes bye-bye. Like, permanently. And that is something I've been looking forward to for a long time."
Mary asked confused " Why would you--"
Dean " We were already dead. Being locked in that cell with nothing... I've been to Hell. This was worse."
Sam "At least this way, one of us gets to keep fighting."
Cas shook his head " You don't have to do this."
Billie nodded "Yeah, they do. We made a pact, bound in blood. You break that, there's consequences on a cosmic scale. So, who's it gonna be?""
Sam and Dean looked at each other.
I scoffed, shaking my head "you had all day to make that decision. And you are choosing to do it now?"
Mary took her gun out ""Me."
Dean froze " Mom, mom."
Sam shook his head "No. No"
.Mary " You said come midnight, a Winchester dies? I'm a Winchester."
Billie nodded "Works for me."
Mary aimed the gun at her head.
Sam " Mom!"

Suddenly an angel blade pierced through Billie's chest from behind, and she fell down to the ground.
It was Cass.
Everyone's jaw dropped.
Dean asked shocked " Cas, what have you done?"
Cass " What had to be done. You know this world-- this sad, doomed little world-- it needs you. It needs every last Winchester it can get, and I will not let you die. I won't let any of you die. And I won't let you sacrifice yourselves. You mean too much to me. To everything. Yeah, you made a deal. You made a stupid deal, and I broke it. You're welcome.""
At the bunker. Night.
Dean walked out of the bathroom and froze when he saw me "i thought you were mad"
I nodded "i was mad but i get it"
Dean nodded.
Me "how are you feeling?"
Dean nodded "Better"
I nodded .
Dean "can you do me a favor?"
I nodded "sure"
Dean "can i hold you? i haven't seen you in over 6 weeks and i-"
I smiled and hugged him.
He hugged me back while kissing my hair "i love you, baby"
