Haldi ceremony came to an end around afternoon, with lots of masti. Now all are ready to attend the pooja in the evening.
Nandini came downstairs with a thaali of flowers in one hand and the other hand handling her long skirt. Her glowing face and the dangling earrings revealed how happy she is...
Manik is standing leaning to the pillar and looking at her cheerful face... She didn't notice him standing there, admiring her....
Manik grabbed her by her bare waist with his left hand.
...
The sudden pull caused a loss of grip on the thaali, and it all went up the air.
...
He hid them between the yellow curtain and the pillar,
"Manikk!!!... darra diya mujhe!! thaali bhi haath se gir gayi!"
But he didn't say anything and continued looking at her cheerful face, now became a fake angry but pinkish one.
...
The thaali which was on the air fell down, with the flowers and that too on somebody's head.
TING!!!
"Ouch!!! " Cabir yelled and looked around him to know where the plate came from.
...
Nandini wiggled in Manik's hold and was about to go, but Manik pulled her towards him. Nandini felt a little intrigued by his intense lovable eyes on her, and ofcourse his hand on her waist is also not helping her.
"Manikk... sab yahi par hai...!" She told him in a soft shy whisper with a pinkish tint on her cheeks.
"So what?! kal issi time pe, tum poori tarah, meri ban chuke honge" Manik said this hinting her to look at the clock on their left side wall.
Nandini looked at the time, yes it's 4:00pm now, and as per Manglorean tradition, the wedding will be in the morning...
She blushed at the thought of it...
...
Cabir saw Manik and Nandini hiding behind the pillar and understood what happened. He gritted his teeth while rubbing his head and walked away
...
Manik's hand on Nandini's waist slowly slides to pull her more towards him
"Nanduuu" Nandini startled and tried to push him, but he didn't budge, "Manik, chod na mujhe... Chachi bula rahi hai... aur vaise bhi Amms ne kaha tha na ki haldi ke baad dulha-dulhan ek doosre se mil nahi sakte"
Manik released his hold on her and then stepped back, "Jao.... mera kaam toh ho gaya" He shrugged and winked at her, while walking away, leaving a confused Nandini.

Prerna has been arranging a plate with sweets for the pooja. She turned to take another box of sweet, but collided with a mascular body.
"Anurag!! tum yaha kya kar rahe ho?! Naani ne kaha tha na, kal tak hum nahi mil sakte, so... go"
"Hmm, main jaa hi raha hu, par usse pehle mujhe kuch kaam tha karne ko, bas vahi karne aaya tha"
"Kaam?! kya?!"
"Yeh..." He showed his palm, which has haldi paste on it. Prerna widened her eyes and immediately moved away from him
"Dekho Anurag, mujhe haath mat lagao" Prerna warned him while stepping back
Anurag smirked and started stepping towards her, slowly, threateningly
"Anurag maine kaha na... mat lagao... main naha chuki hu...aur pooja mein bedna hai ab...please"
"Hmmhhh" Anurag continued moving forward, with a very naughty smile
Prerna stepped back and then she saw a small can of wheat flour on the table. She immediately took the can, which made Anurag to stop on his track,
"Agar aapne mere oopar haldi lagaya, toh yeh poora ka poora aatta aapke sir pe hoga" She threatened him with full confidence.
"Ha ha, hmmhh tumse nahi ho paayegi" Anurag teased and again started walking towards her
And then suddenly he waved his hand towards her face, and Prerna closed her eyes moving her face sideways. Simultaneously, she spilled the wheat flour towards Anurag's direction.
"W*****!!!!!!"
"Prerna slowly opened her eyes one by one, when she felt something cold on her left cheek. She looked shocked and then Anurag started laughing, standing behind her.
"Ca...Cabir....!!!???" Prerna whispered in shock and then touched her left cheek, and saw haldi on her fingers.
She immediately turned around to look at Anurag angrily.
Anurag started running towards the exit, followed by an angry Prerna. On the way, Prerna told a wheat flour cladded Cabir, "Sorry Cabir" and then ran out to catch Anurag.
....
Zubin came inside to drink water, and saw Prerna running after Anurag. He stood shocked seeing a cheerful, childish and naughty Sidharth. Because his childhood friend was never like this befor. He smiled with all his heart and then entered the kitchen to get another shock.
"Cabir, yeh kya hua?! tum iss aatte mein kya kar raha hai?!"
"Main...iss aatte mein nahi, balki aatta mere oopar hai..." He said this while gritting his teeth, and tightened his fist to control himself
"Oops sorry yaar, par hua kya hai?!"
"Iss Anurag aur uss Manik ki shaadi tak mera kya haal honewaala hai, yeh ab mujhe bhi nahi pata!!" He said this and shook his head in frustration, and this made the flour to spill around from his hair.
Zubin waved his hand before his face to remove the flour and closed his nose.
