Both Kai and Ryujin didn't move, not even a little. The both were waiting for each other to make a move for the last round to decide who the real winner is.
Few seconds passed and Kai was feeling very very nervous, the most nervous he probably fell in his whole life. He started to run out of patience and started running to attack Ryujin.
He was close to punch Ryujin's face but she quickly held his hand and proceeded choking Kai as she used all her force to push him to the rails of the rooftop.
Kai tried to fight back but Ryujin was too strong the he couldn't even move a little bit and he was already very tired and harmed from their fight. Ryujin quickly twisted his hand making him cry in pain as she placed her knife near his neck.
"Don't move......" Ryujin said coldly.
"R-Ryujin....." Kai managed to say. "I know, I know Kai....." Ryujin said sadly as she fought back her tears. "I should have never done this! But.....it's too late to go back now." Ryujin said.
"Ryujin, please listen to me! You don't have to do this!" Kai said.
Ryujin only looked at him directly as a tear slid down her face.
"Can you ever forgive me?" Ryujin asked.
"I-I......If this is the only way to fix me and moms mistakes.....and if it helps you....I can." Kai said.
"Then please......forgive me for this.....who's death do you want to have?" Ryujin asked. Kai laughed a bit. "Maybe Renjun? He was really great, even though we have no guns...." Kai said.
Ryujin had a small smile as it slowly faded and stabbed Kai in his neck to make a deep cut on it. She clearly noticed how surprised Kai was by the look on his eyes. She noticed that he was trying to say something too.
"D-D-Don't w-w-orry.....I-I F-Forgive you s-sis....." Kai said. He coughed some blood on Ryujin as he felt his soul slowly leaving his body. His body lost warmth and balance making him lean down on the rails as he closed his eyes and his body fell down the rails spilling blood everywhere.
Ryujin took few steps back as she then fell down on her back. She looked at her hands that were shaking in disbelief, she couldn't believe that she had just killed a person who had just said few minutes ago that.....she could call him a friend and a family.
But did she have any choice? It was already too late to stop her plan. Ryujin walked downstairs and toward Kai's body. She bent down and held his hand. Only now she realized what Kai said was right, her mother was using her so that she can get her revenge once and for all.
"Please....forgive me..." Ryujin said.
"Did you....kill him?" A voice said. Ryujin turned around to see Sehun in front of her.
"Yes....I did kill him by my own two hands...." Ryujin said.
"Then I need to avenge my little brother....is this how bad Chanyeol felt when he lost Renjun?" Sehun said as two tears slid down his face. He took out a gun and pointed it at Ryujin.
"I am too ashamed to call myself his 'sister' when I did all of this to him....shit....just can I do one thing before you kill me?" Ryujin asked. "What is it?"
"Let me tell Y/N about it, about Kai to make things clear. After you kill me, please kill my mother, she had the upper hand in this." Ryujin said.
"You have an hour. I will take care of Kai's body and I will bury him away so.....get your work done quickly and don't think of running away." Sehun said. "I won't."
Ryujin walked toward Y/N's house and knocked on the door. It was few seconds until Y/N opened the door and got shocked.
"R-RYUJIN! WHAT HAPPENED?? ARE YOU OKAY? COME IN, QUICK!" Y/N said. "I am okay." Ryujin said as she entered inside and sat down. "It's not true.....everything you said about Kai.....killing others....right?" Y/N asked.
"I came here to talk about him. Kai is the murderer but, he has a story behind it." Ryujin said. "Please tell me about it." Y/N said.
"First of all you have to know that Kai, loved you. But before he loved you, he was born as an emotionless person with no feelings." Ryujin said. "What do you mean?" Y/N asked.
"Kai inherited it from his birth mother, unlike his two sisters, he felt nothing." Ryujin said. "But....when he met you.....it all changed, he wanted to spend the rest of his life with you, for him, you were his savor. You helped him to feel and have emotions." Ryujin said.
"He knew that there were a lot of boys who liked you, he felt scared, he didn't want to lose and then had no choice. I actually had a hand in persuading him into killing his rivals." Ryujin said. "W-Wait, so you are saying...." "Yeah, he killed Taehyun, Jaehyun, Soobin, Jaemin, Beomgyu, Taeyong, Taemin, and Yeonjun, for you." Ryujin said. She continued explaining everything about Kai's life, his parents, sisters, his life and the relationship he had with her.
"W-What about Kai? Where is he now??" Y/N asked. "He is.....dead." Ryujin said. "D-DEAD? HOW? HE DIDN'T KILL HIMSELF, RIGHT?" Y/N asked. "No....I killed him myself." Ryujin said.
"I....I don't know how to even react. I just...." Y/N started crying. "I thought you had to know about the whole story. Kai deserved nothing of this and it was my fault." Ryujin said.
Y/N wiped her tears away as she sniffed. "Now that I know all about what happened....." She couldn't continue speaking and broke crying again.
"I am really sorry for tricking you and Kai, but please do me a favor...or more like a promise to Kai." Ryujin said. "What is it?" Y/N asked.
"Please don't forget about Kai, never." Ryujin said. "I won't....I loved him a lot and he is a part of me....I just....can't accept that....he is....gone....for me....." Y/N said.
"Well, I hope you move on and live Kai's share of life too. I promise that you will never see my face ever again. I will fix everything now. Please make sure you never forget about Kai." Ryujin said.
"I will never forget him....I will miss him....I will always think of him....and love him........" Y/N cried.
Ryujin silently got up and walked toward the door. She turned around one last time to face Y/N with a sad smile.
"Goodbye..." Ryujin said.
She walked toward the river Sehun asked her to go to and starred at the water as she thought about Kai. He was a good brother, he tried to warn her about her mother and she only killed him. It was time for her to leave too and apologize properly.
She looked at the sky full of starts and had a sad smile as a tear slid down her face.
There was suddenly some loud noise and Ryujin felt pain in her chest. She starred at it and held it to see blood. She turned around to see Sehun in front of her.
"Say hi to Kai for me and burn well in hell." Sehun said. "I-I....I will." Ryujin said. She coughed blood as she fell down and looked at the ground as her vision slowly faded.
"H-Heuning K-Kamal K-Kai.....I am sorry....."
She closed her eyes as the last tear slid through her face as she had a small smile.
"Kai will always forever love Y/N.........."
