"You're finished," Kakashi said to Zabuza and Zabuza chuckled.
"Finished? You really don't get it do you? Your technique is nothing but an imitation. I'll never be defeated by a couple of copy cat ninja like you and that girl," Zabuza said with another chuckle. "You are full of surprises though. You both already copied my water clone when you made your little speech. Very skillfully executed. Kakashi, you made your clone say those words to draw my attention. The girl taking out my clone wasn't apart of your plan. You waited in the mist waiting for me to make my move. Nice try but I'm not that easy to fool." Another Zabuza appeared behind Kakashi. Kakashi cut through the water clone. Zabuza swung his sword and Kakashi ducked.
Zabuza spun around and quickly grabbed his sword again. He kicked Kakashi and Kakashi flew back. Zabuza quickly grabbed his sword and ran at Kakashi but stopped. Zabuza jumped into the water and Rin watched carefully. Kakashi came up from the water and Zabuza was behind him in a second doing hand signs.
"Water Prison Jutsu!" Kakashi was lifted into a big ball of water. He made a water clone so it would attack Rin, Naruto, Sasuke, and Sakura. "You think wearing a headband makes you a ninja. When you've hovered between life and death so many times it doesn't faze you then you may be called a ninja. When you've become so deadly your profile is entered in my bingo book then you may have earned the title ninja, but to call upstarts like you ninja is a joke." Naruto was kicked and his headband flew off. Zabuza stomped his foot on Naruto's headband and Rin glanced at Kakashi. "You're just brats." Rin glanced at her teammates and then at Kakashi. He shook his head no.
"Listen, get the bridge builder and run! You can't win this fight! He's using all of his power to keep me in this prison so he can only fight you with his water clone, but the clone can't go far from his real body! If you get away from him he can't follow! Now run!" Kakashi yelled to them. Rin carefully looked at her surroundings and took it all in.
"We've got to do it!" Sasuke said charging. He threw shuriken and Zabuza blocked it with his sword. Sasuke jumped into the air and Zabuza caught him by the neck. Rin's eyes widened. She let out a sigh and charged. He threw Sasuke at Rin, and she quickly made a clone. Her clone caught Sasuke as she continued to run at Zabuza. She ducked under his sword, grabbed the handle of it, and lifted herself on it. She kicked him back, and he grabbed her foot. She swung around to kick him with her other one. He caught it and she pushed off of his sword making him fall back. She landed on her feet and turned to look at him. He kicked her and she flew back. She hit the ground and groaned.
"Rin!" Sasuke yelled. She was picked up off the ground by her neck and she gasped for air.
"You're pretty skilled for a brat, and that Sharingan of yours might become a problem. I might as well kill you now so you'll be out of the way." He began to squeeze tighter and Rin activated the Tsukuyomi Sharingan. The clone's eyes widened and Rin grabbed her kunai. She stuck it in clone's arm, and he let go of her. She fell to the ground, coughing. Sasuke was in front of her in a second as the water clone became water. He created another one and it swung its sword down. Rin's eyes widened and she pulled Sasuke towards her. Taking the moment of his confusion, she activated the Amaterasu. The clone burned and she quickly put out the flames. Her Sharingan went back to normal.
The real Zabuza looked over at her slightly wide eyed. He summoned up another clone as we went to stand next to Naruto and Sakura. He put his foot back on Naruto's headband. The clone Zabuza stood over Naruto and Naruto was about to make a run for it, but pain coursed through his hand from the wound. He winced in pain and Rin went to help Naruto, but sensed someone behind her. She pushed Sasuke towards Naruto and barely dodged the sword coming down to hit her. Just great two water clones! He knocked Rin into a tree and put his sword to her neck. She gasped and went to do hand signs. He put his sword closer to her neck. She glanced over at Sasuke and Naruto and seen they were dealing with other clone. Great, I'm on my own! He chopped down and Rin's water clone disappeared, and she jumped down from the tree.
"You're a real pain, ya know that?!" she yelled ducking under his sword. She grabbed the handle and threw it away from him. She glanced at Naruto and the others and seen he put back on his headband. Her mind flashed back to the time in training when Kakashi took her headband. If it had been anyone else, she would have been mad, but she took his and he was the one that saved her. Now, it's my turn to save him, she thought to herself with a small smile. Zabuza threw a punch and she blocked it with her hand. She kneed him and then grabbed a kunai. She stabbed it in his stomach and watched as the clone turned to water. She looked up and ran at Zabuza's real body.
Rin jumped in the air and made a clone. She transformed into a shuriken and her clone threw Rin at the real Zabuza. He ducked and right as she was about to pass over his head she transformed back and kicked down on his head. He caught her foot and threw her back. She hit the water and fell in. The water was very dense. She felt herself get yanked up out of the water by her hair. She let out a yelp as he grabbed her by the neck. Kakashi's eyes widened, and Rin gasped for air.
"That Sharingan of yours is beginning to be a pain," he said squeezing her neck harder. Black spots blurred her vision, and she realized she could use the Tsukuyomi. She activated it just as Sasuke threw a big shuriken. He dropped Rin into the water and her Sharingan went back to normal. She did hand signs as she watched him let go of the water prison. Rin came back up and blew fire at him. He jumped out of the way and it dispersed. He went to throw the big shuriken at her, but Kakashi caught it. Naruto fell into the water, and she swam over to him.
"Naruto, Rin, those were excellent plans. Naruto, you've really grown haven't you?" Kakashi asked as Rin reached Naruto.
"I knew I couldn't beat him with my shadow clones. That was just to distract him. While he fought the clones I turned into the demon wind shuriken. He didn't know what to do believe it! I used one of the clones to transform into the shuriken. When I threw it to Sasuke it looked like a real shuriken. Sasuke could tell it was me in a second. He spun around so no one could see and pulled out his own shuriken. Now there were two shurikens. One was real and one was me. I hid in the shadow of the real shuriken and my target was the real Zabuza. Of course I knew I couldn't fight Zabuza myself. That wasn't in the game plan. I just wanted to get in there and break up his water prison. Rin, almost had the same idea except she was going for a straight attack. I wasn't expecting her to be beside Zabuza but when I seen him drop her that's when I made my move. Her help was a bonus," Naruto explained. Rin grabbed Naruto and teleported them next to Sasuke. She coughed and spit up some water.
"Rin, are you okay?" Sasuke asked running over to her.
"I'm fine. Just used a lot of chakra," she said panting as her Sharingan deactivated. "Don't worry about me just protect the bridge builder." She stood up and turned to watch the fight. Kakashi and Zabuza jumped away from each other and Zabuza done a hand sign. He began to do hand signs and whisper their names. Kakashi began to copy him and Rin watched carefully. They began to synchronize. Water came up and formed a dragon.
"Water Style: Water Dragon Jutsu!" they both shouted. The dragons twirled around each other and then began biting each other. A bunch of water hit them, and Rin covered her face. Kakashi and Zabuza connected in the middle. Kakashi was fending off Zabuza's blade with a kunai knife. The water dragon jutsu gave out and Rin sensed someone watching them. She activated her Sharingan and looked around. She glanced around trying to find their chakra. They jumped apart and Kakashi mirrored Zabuza's moves perfectly. They began doing more hand signs. Zabuza stopped and his eyes widened. Kakashi quickly finished the hand signs.
"Water Style: Giant Vortex Jutsu!" Kakashi said. The water began to spin like a whirlpool. It came up and shot out at Zabuza. The wind and water blew against us as the he was thrown into a tree. Kunais flew at him and hit him in his arms and legs. Right as Kakashi was about to finish him off, needles came out of nowhere and hit Zabuza in the neck.
Rin glanced up in a tree, and she realized it was the guy that was watching them earlier. He had an anbu mask on. He looked to be around her age. He jumped down next to Zabuza's body and explained to them how he was a tracker ninja. Rin deactivated her Sharingan as she looked at the needles he threw. The needles weren't deadly and the spot he hit him in would only put him in a death state, but he would be alive. Rin narrowed her eyes at the tracker ninja as he picked up Zabuza and disappeared. She looked at Kakashi and seen he too had a skeptical look on his face. Naruto was angry that someone at their age could take down Zabuza when Kakashi had trouble doing so. Naruto began punching the ground and Rin rolled her eyes. She grabbed his hand and yanked him up.
"Stop! We are ninja. The things we encounter are never easy. All you have to do is train and become stronger," she said and he looked down.
"We haven't completed our mission yet. We still have to get the bridge builder to his bridge," Kakashi said and Rin nodded.
"Sorry I caused all this trouble for ya, but uh, you can rest at my house when we get to the village," Tazuna said giving them a smile.
"Alright lets get a move on," Kakashi said and began walking. He stopped and began falling. Rin caught him and winced. She looked down at her shoulder and seen a deep cut. More black spots danced in her vision and Kakashi and her fell.
"Rin!" Sasuke yelled. The last thing she seen was Sasuke and Naruto's worried faces before she fell unconscious.

Rin's eyes fluttered open, and Sasuke's face appeared in her vision. "She's waking up," he said as Rin began to sit up. She groaned, rubbing her head.
"Did I hit my head when I fell?" she asked looking at Sasuke.
"Yeah, and Kakashi landed on top of you," he said looking at her shoulder. She was about to take off the bandage when Sasuke slapped her hand away. "Don't touch the bandage."
"My shoulder doesn't even hurt. Are you sure I'm wounded?" she asked looking at her shoulder.
"It doesn't hurt?" He grabbed the bandage and unwrapped it.
"Oh, so it's okay when you do it but not when I try to do it!" Rin said a bit annoyed.
"There's not a cut there anymore!" His eyes were wide. Rin looked down as he finished unwrapping it.
"What do you mean there's not a cut there anymore?" a lady asked walking over to them and looking at Rin's shoulder. Her eyes slightly widened.
"Wait, who are you?" Rin asked confused.
"My name is Tsunami," she said holding her hand out for Rin to shake.
"Rin," she replied shaking t Tsunami's hand.
"Kakashi should wake up soon," she said and RIn nodded. She left the room, and Rin began to stand up. Sasuke tried pushing her back down and she shook her head at him.
"I'm fine." He sighed and helped her up. They waited until Kakashi woke up and then went in there to talk to him. Rin sat down beside them and listened as they all talked. They talked about the boy with the mask. He explained how the anbu get rid of a rogue ninjas corps so their enemy can't analyze the body and learn the secrets including chakra, medicines, or jutsu used by the ninja.
"Kakashi, I need to talk to you alone," Rin said glancing at everyone. They all got the memo and left. "Kakashi-sensei, Zabuza isn't dead. Those needles were senbon needles. They're not deadly. The masked guy hit a pressure point that puts the person in a temporary death state," she explained and Kakashi's eyes widened.
"How-"
"After the massacre of the Uchiha clan, I spent all of my time either training or finding the weaknesses in ninja. One year, I came across a book about Senbon needles and all of the ninja pressure points. I fit that into my training and practiced hitting pressure points just in case I needed to keep someone alive on a mission. It was so it would be easier to gather information without killing a person. Cutting off their chakra would be easy for me. Plus, because of my Mangekyo Sharingan I could be unstoppable. Problem is, is that I haven't exactly learned high-tech jutsu to add on to that." His eyes were wide in shock.
"How did you study all of this and still go to the academy? You never showed your real skills."
"I was always training. I'm going to be Hokage someday and I figured I would need to know some of this stuff. I never showed my true skills in the academy because I didn't want to be put in for testing and stuff. Knowing some people, they would rather me be put under lock down instead of letting me do missions." She thought back to Danzo and shook her head. "I don't want Sasuke knowing about the Mangekyo Sharingan either. It'd be worse then the time father taught me the fireball jutsu before he taught Sasuke." Kakashi's eyes widened more.
"At the age of six you already knew and understood chakra?" he asked and she nodded. He let out a sigh. "I want to teach you a jutsu after this mission." Rin's eyebrows scrunched in confusion, but she nodded anyways. "You're very observant. You're actually more observant then I am. Are you good at setting up strategy?"
"If winning at Shogi against Asuma and Shikamaru counts, then yeah. Shikamaru is pretty hard to beat because of his strategies, but if you carefully calculate the moves you can instantly figure out the next twenty moves." Rin sensed Naruto and Sasuke sneaking closer to listen in, and Rin put her finger up to her mouth in a shushing way. He nodded as she stood up and leaned over the half wall. She put her head in front of theirs and her hair touched the floor. "Eavesdropping isn't nice." Sasuke stuck his tongue out at her, and she did it back causing him to chuckle.
"You caught us," he said rolling his eyes.
"We were done talking anyways so you all can come back," Rin said bringing her head back up. They all came back in, and Kakashi began explaining about how Zabuza isn't dead.
"Kakashi-sensei, how do you know he's not dead?" Naruto asked.
"He's a Jonin. He knows this stuff," Sakura said looking at Naruto.
"Actually, Rin was the one to tell me he wasn't dead. She studied up on the needles used and the points in his neck that were hit. He was just put in a temporary death state. That means he's still alive."
