"I've got breakfast ready guys," announced Trout.
"Oh God, I hope it's not leftovers from last night," said Kiwi.
"If it is I'll bloody break your nose," said Nessie.
Trout smirked, "Pancakes anyone?"
The three commanders looked at each other then back to the pancakes.
"Oh," said Nessie "Well by all means please."
Trout slid a pancake onto Nessie's plate. She licked her lips as she looked down on the pancake. Suddenly a dark shadow zoomed over it, then another and another. Nessie slowly looked up.
"Uhh lassies," said Nessie.
The commanders joined her in looking up towards the planes and helicopters. They watched as they soon landed on the ship followed by explosions.
"Shit," said Wallaby.
"They're everywhere!"
"Rosehip please repeat," said Orange Pekoe.
"I'm looking at hundreds of aircraft and thousands of tanks all around us!"
"They've taken the stadium and the hospital!"
"The Varyag has boarded us!"
"Wallaby's forces have been wiped out!"
Darjeeling turned off the radio before walking towards the window.
"I didn't expect them to strike this early," said Darjeeling.
"They must have prepared all night for this," said Orange Pekoe.
"They will not take this building understand?"
"Yes, commander!"
Darjeeling took a sip of her tea as she watched tanks roll down the bridges from the Varyag.
"Hey Rosehip what is that?" asked Vanilla.
Rosehip peered through her sights. She spotted three tanks charging towards her Crusader.
"An IS-3?" guessed Rosehip.
"What about the other two?"
"That sure as hell isn't a KV-2," realized Rosehip.
"Two KV-5s and one IS-7 approaching!" cried Pienaar.
The IS-7 fired knocking out Vanilla's Crusader.
"Everyone back to the school now!" ordered Rosehip.
The company of British tanks fled the Soviet onslaught.
"After them," said the IS-7 commander.
Rosehip's tanks dodged and weaved through buildings and sped down streets as the Vredefort Matildas struggled to keep up.
"Pienaar, hurry up or you'll be left behind," called Rosehip.
"You go on ahead we'll hold them off," said Pienaar.
"What!? You won't last a second!"
"So be it."
The Vredefort tanks turned around and fired at the oncoming KVs and T-44s. Rosehip's Crusader briefly turned around in an attempt to aid Pienaar.
"Rosehip we have to go!" cried Cranberry.
Rosehip's Crusader fired a final shot before leaving the Matildas to be taken out.
"Defenders of St. Gloriana! A ring of steel surrounds your city! We will crush all who still dare to resist the will of the Konev Armed Forces! Abandon your posts, abandon your homes, abandon all hope!"
Perla and Corona walked among destroyed tanks from Cigar.
"I've seen this before. Against Ooarai, against Anzio, against Maple, and against Viggen. But these are MY tanks!" cursed Perla.
Corona put her hand on Perla's shoulder as she removed her cap and scratched her head. Monika came running towards the two before stopping.
"Comrade Perla. I am so sorry about your loss," said Monika.
"Those Nishizumi sisters will pay," said Perla.
"And they will my friend, but we must be strategic about it."
Perla examined her losses again before sighing.
"Fine, fine," she said.
"Good. Go back to base and have a Mojito, I'll lead the next assault."
"Thank you, my friend, Corona let's go."
