Recap...
TJ is still avoiding Julian at all costs, and Julian comes up with a plan to see him again. Then TJ and Devon have a talk about their relationship drama. After Julian came up with his plan, he ran into Zeek on his way to class and ended up having dinner together later that day. Then TJ, Draven, and Gianna went over to the mall to try and cheer up TJ, but it clearly didn't work. And Devon decides to talk to Kai and hopefully try to work it out with him. What's Julian's plan? And will TJ come back to him?...
Kai's POV
I stand there shocked as I saw Devon on the other side of the door.
"DEVON!" I said nervously.
"...Hey, Kai. Can we talk?" Devon asked sheepishly.
"Uh, sure! Come over to the driveway" I said nervously.
"What?" Devon asked.
"Come to my room" I said nervously.
"Oh, okay" Devon said as he stepped past me to head inside.
I closed the door, and we went over to my room. We sat down on the bed.
"So, uh... what did you want to talk about?" I asked nervously.
"I wanted to talk about... us" Devon said frowning.
"What about us?" I asked.
"How are you doing?" Devon asked.
"I'm alright, but I could be better" I said frowning.
"I know how you feel" Devon said frowning.
Devon wrapped his arm around my shoulder and pulled me in close.
"So, I just wanted to say—" Devon said.
Something hit the door before he could finish his sentence.
"What was that?" Devon whispered.
"Don't worry. This happens all the time" I whispered.
Lauren and Desiree were standing by the door, standing silently, hoping that they wouldn't get caught.
"Guys, get away from the door!" I yelled.
"Come on, Kai!" Lauren and Desiree said at the same time.
"No! We need to talk!" I yelled.
"Ok fine!" Desiree said.
I heard their footsteps going towards the living room.
"That happens all the time?" Devon asked laughing.
"Unfortunately. It happened each time me and Julian needed to talk to each other" I said.
Devon giggled a little and I couldn't help but do it too.
"So, I just wanted to know... what's going on between you and Julian? Are you still in love with him?" Devon asked.
"He's mad at me, and has been since it happened and I couldn't stop thinking about you" I said frowning.
"Aww. Thanks. But are you still in love with Julian?" Devon asked.
"No. I'm in love with you. I've been crazy about you since we've met. I'm so sorry about the Julian thing" I said frowning.
"It's okay. I missed you a lot, to be honest" Devon said smiling.
"Aww, I missed you too!" I said smiling.
"I bet you did" Devon said laughing.
We both giggled and Devon wrapped his arm around my shoulders and pulled me close.
"So... what does this mean about us?" I asked nervously.
"Well, this will explain it" Devon said smiling.
Devon leaned in and kissed me. I missed his kisses so much. I cupped his cheeks and kissed him back, with his light stubble tickling my face. We pulled apart, and his arms were still around my waist.
"I love you so much, Devon" I said smiling.
"I love you too, Kai" Devon said smiling.
I giggled and kissed Devon again.
Julian's POV
I just got back after doing another assignment for Professor Jacobs' stubborn ass, and Kai just came out of his room, with Devon behind him.
"Oh, hey Julian!" Devon said smiling.
"Hey" Kai said sheepishly.
"Hey, Devon. Hey Kai" I said smiling.
Devon turned back to Kai.
"I'll see you tomorrow?" Devon asked smiling.
"Yeah. See you!" Kai said smiling.
They kissed before Devon left and said his goodbyes.
"So, uh... you and Devon are back together?" I asked.
"Yeah. He wanted to work things out, and it's pretty good. Speaking of, can I talk to you?" Kai asked frowning.
I thought about it for a second, but I decided I should because I don't think I can hold a grudge that long kinda like TJ.
"Yeah, sure" I said.
He led me upstairs and we stood by the balcony railing.
"What's up?" I asked.
"Look, I just want to say... I'm sorry about everything I caused you—" Kai said frowning before I interrupted him.
"As you should be" I said.
"...Okay, I deserved that. And I wanted to explain why it happened" Kai said frowning.
"Please do" I said.
"When I met Devon before the winter formal, it was like, love at first sight. Kinda exactly like when I first met you." Kai said frowning.
I looked over the balcony frowning as I started to feel bad and looked back over to Kai.
"And when we started dating, it felt like you were there. I liked you so much" Kai said frowning.
I took a deep breath.
"So I had feelings for you still because everything Devon and I went through, was exactly like what we went through. I really am sorry about everything" Kai said frowning.
"Aww, Kai. I had no idea. I should apologize to you too" I said frowning.
"For what?" Kai asked.
"For being such a jerk. I had no idea. I'm sorry, Kai... is everything okay between us now?" I asked sheepishly.
"Yeah, we're all good" Kai said smiling.
I hugged Kai.
"Good, cause I didn't want to admit it, but I missed you so much" I said smiling.
"Aww, thanks! But we live in the same room!" Kai said laughing.
"I know, but I was trying to avoid you just in case" I said smiling.
We both laughed and hugged. Then we went downstairs.
"Hey, Kai" I said.
"Yeah?" Kai asked.
"We should head out sometime, like we used to" I said smiling.
"Sounds fun!" Kai said smiling.
Lauren and Natalie were listening in on our conversation.
"Awwww, look at y'all! Making up!" Lauren said smiling.
"And that's on period!" Natalie said smiling.
I laughed for a second.
"I love you guys, really" I said smiling.
I got a text on my phone from Tristan.

Jacobs is waiting
for you in his office.

I rolled my eyes and put my phone away.
"Everything ok, Julian?" Natalie asked.
"Yeah, I just remember I had a meeting with Professor Jacobs right now... eugh" I said frowning.
"Oh okay! See you later!" Lauren said.
"Bye guys!" I said.
I grabbed my backpack and headed out the door.
TJ's POV
I got out of my History of Latin America class with Gianna and I got kinda hungry. I thought about getting some In-N-Out but I kinda wanna go out somewhere.
"Yo Gianna, you wanna hang out tonight?" I asked happily.
"Of course" Gianna said smiling.
"Sounds good, I'll ask Draven too" I said smiling.
"Hmmmmm..." Gianna said as she looked at me mischievously.
A little skeptical, I looked at her in confusion.
"What?" I asked.
"Yesterday you seemed bothered about something... now you seem pretty cheerful... what happened?" Gianna asked as she formed a smile on her face.
"Today is just a good day" I said smiling.
"Hmph... okay" Gianna said as she smiled mischievously.
We got back to our room, and Draven came from upstairs.
"Yoo! Wassup guys?" Draven asked smiling.
"Hiii Draven!" Gianna said happily.
"What's good Draven? Gianna and I are heading out tonight. You down to join us?" I asked smiling.
"Of course bro! Where we going?" Draven asked happily.
"We... actually didn't figure that out yet" TJ said.
"Well... I got nothing" Draven said.
I thought for a little bit longer, and then I got a text.

Of course it was Julian. I started to trail off for a moment.
We sure did have some good times together, but you know he did me wrong, and I just can't accept that. Then I was brought back to reality.
"Hello, TJ? You there?" Draven asked.
"Huh? I said as I tried to make myself seem more focused than I was.
"I said how about we go to Downtown to Benimama's?" Draven asked.
"Oh, I'm down!" I said.
"Sounds good!" Draven said.
Julian's POV
After my meeting with Professor Jacobs, I decided to text TJ. He didn't respond again. I just don't understand why he won't talk to me. I'm so worried about him. I met up with Lauren at my English class.
"Julian!" Lauren said smiling.
"Hey girl!" I said smiling.
"How was your meeting with Professor Jacobs today?" Lauren asked.
"He's such a pain in the ass. He thinks I'm incompetent" I said as I mocked Professor Jacobs' voice.
Lauren laughed and I couldn't help but laugh too.
"Also I tried texting TJ again, and he didn't respond. I don't know what else to do and I miss him so much" I said frowning.
"You'll get him back Jules! Plus, you've got someone else if you need 'em" Lauren said smiling.
"And... who is that?" I asked.
"You know who!" Lauren said smirking.
"Uhm... I actually don't..." I said.
"A senior, who also writes like you do? Also works for that pain in the ass Professor Jacobs?" Lauren said smiling.
"Is this your way of telling me I should move on with Tristan?" I asked smiling.
"Maaaaaaaybe" Lauren said smiling mischievously.
"I'm not sure I can... I love TJ" I said frowning.
"Look... you don't have to if you don't want to. But I just can't keep seeing you upset. So you need to do something" Lauren said.
"Ok... I'll figure it out" I said frowning.
Desiree's POV
I'm out with Kai and Natalie to go eat at Outback. We just arrived when we asked for our table.
"Hello! Welcome to Outback!" The host said.
"Hi! Table for 3 please!" I said smiling.
"Right this way" The host said as he grabbed our menus.
The host guided us to our table. I sat with Natalie on one side, while Kai sat on the other.
"I'm so glad we're hanging out tonight" I asked smiling.
"What do you mean?" Kai asked.
"I love you guys too much, and I love hanging out with y'all" I said smiling.
"Aww, Desiree!" Natalie said smiling.
"I love you guys too!" Kai said smiling.
We took a moment to figure out drinks, and what to order. We made our orders then continued talking.
"So Julian and TJ are still on the outs right now. Julian's been a little, upset about it" Natalie said.
"I hope they can get back together, I messed it up for them. But Julian isn't mad at me anymore" Kai said.
"Wait... how are things with you and Devon?" I asked smiling.
"Things are going absolutely amazing. I couldn't be happier" Kai said smiling.
"I'm so proud of you bestie!" Natalie said to Kai.
We laughed and continued on with our time out.
Julian's POV
I'm heading out of Professor Jacobs's office with Tristan after an... interesting meeting, you could say?
"Hey Julian, wanna hang out? We could go somewhere! I have nothing to do" Tristan said smiling.
To be honest, I was going to say no because I was thinking about TJ, but then I remembered what Lauren said to me.
"Hello? Where's Julian?" Tristan asked laughing.
I broke out of a short thought, not even noticing that I trailed off.
"Huh?" I asked.
"I was asking if you wanted to hang out! I got nothing to do for the rest of the day" Tristan said smiling.
I was about to think of TJ again, when I remembered what Lauren told me again. So I decided...
"Sure! Why not?" I said smiling.
"Cool, how about we go on over to Coronado?" Tristan asked smiling.
"I'm down!" I said smiling.
Tristan grabbed his car keys out of his pocket, and threw them up in the air and caught them.
"Let's go" Tristan said smiling.
I giggled and followed him to his car.
