ARVINID : you know what I like to eat... but we will get onto that later... How are you feeling lavanya

ARVINID : I mean with the divorce and everything

ARVINID : I still don't get why you didn't tell me anything... You told me after you were divorced
LAVANYA : it wouldn't have changed a thing if I had told you before, or during or after the divorce dad..
ARVINID : am your dad.. my job is to worry about that
LAVANYA: I thought you would be disappointed... I mean it's always been your wish that I get married to arnav

Khushi is standing at her study room's door holding it and blocking rehan from seeing anything inside....

She has a sigh of relief as she locks the door behind her.....

Later that day... When dev comes back from work.... The first thing he does is to meet arnav so they can talk....
DEV: so how did it go??

DEV: you meeting khushi...let me guess.... she threw you out

ARNAV: on the bright side she accepted to meet with me tommorow

The following day... arnav is seated in a restaurant waiting for Khushi to show up... when dev interrupts his chain of thoughts

ARNAV: for the eleventh time yes... Khushi won't meet with me unless your here
DEV: actually it's the fiftneeth time
ARNAV: just stick to what I told you... When she comes say your goodbyes and leave
DEV: why am I here in the first place??
ARNAV: because if she doesn't see you here... She will have a reason to not talk to me
DEV: we have been waiting for an hour what makes you think she will show up...
ARNAV: because it's khushi... and she probably thinks if she makes us wait for too long... We will give up and leave... but we are not... even if it takes a year
DEV: I won't be here arnav

DEV: You have already drank three cups of coffee...

ARNAV: I don't want to start an argument but that's alot of food

I have no business being here... by the way khushi that's an insane amount of food... It embarrasses me....arnav it's not nice of you to judge others people's eating habits
KHUSHI: well there goes my appetite ....arnav whatever you want to say to me should be worth it...

I don't completely hate you... because whether I acknowledge it or don't your still my son's father... and he means the world to me... Arnav what do you want from me?? ARNAV: the way I looked at things... when we change the way we look at things.... the things we look at change.... I didn't approach you because I thought I was doing you a favor

ARNAV: you were happy khushi... happier than you had ever been with me... I thought you would be better off without me in your life ..

ARNAV: and I thought that for ansh as well... I thought his life would be better if he never knew me
KHUSHI: if you think he is better off without you... then why are you trying to be a part of his life??
ARNAV: because I was wrong
KHUSHI : my son means the worl to me.... I didn't give him life, he gave it to me ...i felt an immense desire to live again when i discovered that the true meaning of my life would be the one I give him.... my life changed in a miraculous way...i learned to give without asking... to want without waiting...i would do anything for my son arnav.... anything....you know very well that you and i can't have this conversation unless you do what needs to be done...and unless you do it.... you and i have nothing to talk about... we aren't going to repeat the same cycle again arnav... not my son... that won't be his life... when you do what needs to be done... look for me and we will talk... otherwise you and i have nothing to talk about especially about my son...
