LAVANYA: she is your wife??

ARNAV: what??

LAVANYA: that's what she told me.... I can take that she is your lover... that you cheated on me... what I can't and won't take is that she is your wife....I shouldn't be asking you this but am going to,  is it true what she said... because i don't know what that makes me....your lover?? because you married me too... infront of the whole world...i need you to tell me, is she your wife??

For a split second arnav feels his head spinning trying to get wrap his head around what lavanya just said, when did khushi find the time to tell her??

LAVANYA: arnav I asked you a question, is Khushi your wife?? Don't just keep quiet arnav...tell me she is not your wife....tell me whatever happened between the two of you was just a mistake...i will forget about all of this... we will give our marriage a chance....lie to me if you have to... I will believe you...... Just tell me she is not wife

ARNAV: she is not my wife

LAVANYA: I knew it....she made all of it up... I knew it...... am your wife not her.... she is not your wife

ARNAV: lavanya

LAVANYA: what???

ARNAV: she is not my wife and it isn't because she is not my wife....

LAVANYA: what is that supposed to mean

ARNAV: it means she is not my wife because i couldn't bring myself to call her that... It means she is not my wife because my dad wanted you.... she is not wife because you are....she is not my wife because that would mean the last words my dad heard from me were a lie....i promised him I would marry you

LAVANYA: is Khushi your wife

ARNAV: for all those reasons she is not...

LAVANYA: give me a straight answer, is she your wife??

ARNAV: why do you ask questions you know the answer to??

LAVANYA: I need to hear it from you.... I need to hear you say the words

ARNAV: she is my wife

LAVANYA: so why did you marry me??

ARNAV : am sorry

LAVANYA: for what exactly??? For letting me live a lie, for lying to me every single day, or for making a fool out of me by pretending to be married to me.... when all along you have been sleeping with your lover or wife or whatever it is she is to you

ARNAV: for everything

LAVANYA: sorry!!! Your sorry for everything you did to me... Is that all you have to say to me?? your sorry!! and what is that going to do ?? What is one sorry going to do??

ARNAV: am sorry

LAVANYA: what are two sorries going to do??

ARNAV: there is nothing I can say to you that I can say or do that will justify what i did with you and khushi

LAVANYA: and what has khushi have to do with this... She is apart of this.... she is not the victim, iam....you weren't lying to her... you lied to me... I was the only one who you kept in the dark... you lied to me everyday... and now she is a victim too...our marriage was a sham but she is still the victim...you would come home late...you would emmergence trips just to meet her.... While i was like a piece of furniture stuck at home waiting for my husband while you were with that woman but she is a victim too...The both of you....i hate you

ARNAV: lavanya

LAVANYA: I can't stay here... I can't listen to you.... all that comes out of your mouth are lies ....(she doesn't wait around for arnav to talk and just walks out of the door with tears streaming down her face)
