FLOWEY POV:
"I-I-I" I said stuttering. Chara just puts a finger to her lips while floating down. She looks oddly see through and grey. "A-are.." Frisk reassures me. "She's just weak." "She doesn't have enough power to return as a complete person, or to speak." "W-well what do we do now?" I ask the two. "Return you back to your body." frisk said calmly. Both me and Chara look at frisk with wide eyes. "Don't worry you two I have a plan." Frisk said with yet another childish look on her. I noticed she had that "DETERMINED" look in her eye as she said that, which made me feel determined as well. I take a look at Chara, with a smile on her face, not the creepy smile that she used to do, but a heartwarming grin. I feel something again. "Alright let's go" I said.
FRISK POV:
Wow what a genius I am. I knew that Chara was buried around where those flowers were so I knew that if there was anywhere her soul would roam it would be that room. And of course hearing Flow- sorry Asriel's confessed love for her, I knew that would get her to appear before us. It took some thought and effort but I can't believe it actually worked! "Alright you two let's go home." We walked all the way back to where the barrier used to be, with Chara slowly floating behind us. "You know Chara." I said with a quizzical look as we enter Asgore's former throne room. "What made you fall down here?" Chara looks at the ground with a sad expression. Oh right I forgot she can't speak. "Oh, well I guess I'll tell you guys then." Both Flowey and Chara looked at me interested. "I didn't fall down here for a very happy reason." "I fell down here looking for an end, a-a-." I start to feel tears. "I wanted to kill myself." Flowey and Chara continue to stare at me. "After my parents died from a car crash, and having no friends at school, or anyone else to bother taking care of me I travelled towards Mt. Ebott, I hear that whoever climbs that mountain never returns." "That sentence stuck with me the entire trip up that mountain." "I was about a mile up on that mountain, when I saw a hole, and obviously I jumped." "I fell for what was about 15 seconds when I landed on those flowers. I think there were so many that somehow they were able to break my fall. And then I saw Flowey, befriended everyone, then freed everyone." I said then finally ended it with heaving a great sigh." Then out of nowhere someone spoke, it was neither me nor Flowey, but it was none other than Chara.
CHARA POV:
I start to realize how much I have in common with Frisk. I start to feel sadness again, as I remember why I fell down. "I fell down after my parents died after a car crash too." Flowey and Frisk look at me with shock. I was shocked too. "Chara! You can speak!" Flowey and Frisk said in unison. "I-I can!" I know it's something small to be excited about but I know It's another step closer to bringing me back to my physical form. I wanted to hug the both of them but couldn't, I just phase right through them. "Oh, I forgot, haha" Frisk and unexpectedly Flowey laughed too. "It's ok Chara we'll get you back to your physical form eventually!" "Y-yeah!" I felt more determined than I ever had in my life. I look over at Flowey he's... blushing? I've never seen a flower blush before but I decide to ignore it. After that Frisk carries Flowey to the surface and I follow. The sun looked so pretty when it was setting. The three of us just stared at it for what seemed like hours even though it was actually around 5 minutes. "Well it's getting late, I gotta head home our mom will start to be upset." both me and Flowey look at frisk with curious looks. "Our mom?" Flowey asked. "Well she was your mom at some point wasn't she?" she asked. "w-well." Me and Flowey said. "Great." then she ran off with Flowey in her hands.
FRISK POV:
The three of us end up at Toriel's house. I knock on the door. Toriel opens the door "Oh! Frisk! How long were you out there? I thought you were sleeping in your bed. Oh, and you brought a flower! how sweet!" "Yeah uh, mo-." "Hello Toriel." Flowey said out of nowhere. Toriel screamed. I laughed. "Mom it's ok this is Asri-." I catch my words. I realize Toriel can't know this flower is her long lost son who died many years ago. "This is my friend Flowey." I quickly say. "Oh, well hello Flowey." Toriel said. I breathe a sigh of relief as she still doesn't know who Flowey really is. The three of us walk inside. I just realized that she doesn't see Chara. Which means her soul isn't powerful enough for anyone other than me and Flowey to see her. "Do you want dinner my child?" Toriel asks me. I shake my head as I am extremely tired from all that walking. "Ok" she said. I walk to my room then slam my face in my pillow. I placed Flowey on my table where the sun would be the next day. I start to fall asleep. When Chara said, "G-goodnight you guys." I sit straight up. "Y-you sleep?" Frisk said before yawning. "No. I'm just wishing you guys a good night." I hear Flowey snoring. "How is that even possible?" I said pointing to Flowey. "I don't know." Chara said laughing. "Alright good night" I said.
Chara POV:
He looks so cute while sleeping. Even as a flower. While the two of them slept through the night. I think about what they were talking about in the ruins. They didn't know it at the time, well Frisk might have known. Did Flowey or-uh Asriel really think of me that way? To think after all these years we're still inseparable. Oh and yeah I did love him too but I don't know when to tell him. But something tells me it's going to be a lot sooner than I think.
FRISK POV:
It was the next day, I see both Flowey and Chara are awake. They were laughing. "Oh! remember when we accidentally gave him buttercups when the recipe literally said cups of butter?" Chara said laughing. "Oh, yeah! Haha! That was so stupid!" Flowey said laughing as well. "Well good morning you two." I said. "Oh, good morning Frisk." said the two. "say, what's with that face, Frisk?" Flowey said suspiciously. I had a "you two know what you're doing look" on my face. "Nothing." I said giggling. "alright who wants breakfast?" Flowey and Chara both looked extremely disappointed. "Oh sorry. Forgot neither of you can eat." I said apologetically. "It's fine I'll eat my breakfast fast, and then we can talk about what to do next." I said as I left the room.
Time skips by around 5 mins.
Alright so I have finished my eggs, time to discuss with the two how to bring back Asriel. I slammed the door open confident that we will get through this. Flowey and Chara jumped at this and I stand in the middle of the room with a determined look on my face. Alright time to initiate MISSION: SAVE ASRIEL! "That's the stupidest thing I've ever heard." Flowey said. I continue even though I am slightly hurt by that. "Anyways, Flowey what I am trying to do is bring you back to your old fluffy goat-boy form." I see Chara blush in the corner of my eye. "That's impossible, Frisk. And you know I until I get a soul I'm stuck in this flower body." That was when it hit me. I bring up my phone and I call Alphys. "What do you think you're doing?" Flowey asked. "h-h-hi frisk! w-w-what's u-up?" said Alphys on the phone. "I need a favor from you Alphys. Can you meet us at your old lab at Hotlands?" I asked. "Oh! S-s-ure!" said Alphys. Then I hung up. "Alright let's go!" I scooped up Flowey, him yelping in the process. I run out of the door, saying goodbye to my mum, then heading out. Chara once again was levitating behind us. I was so excited I was practically sprinting. "C-can you *cough* quit running so fast!?" He said as a spider flew in his mouth. "Oh, ok sorry about that." Chara was lying down with her arms behind her, as she was floating. "Damnit Chara can you stop flexing on us for a second?" I said laughing. "Oh sorry is my death making you jealous?" she said with a grin on her face while looking at us upside down. "Oh yeah sure" I said while we both laugh. "Can we get a move on please?" said Flowey annoyed. "Alright fine." We both said.
a few elevator trips later....
I see a massive lab in the distance and can just make out a short yellow dinosaur tapping her feet in front of said lab. "Heya, Alphys!" I yelled in her direction. "Oh h-hiya Frisk!" she yelled back. we eventually were in front of the lab and Alphys led us all inside. We all took the elevator down into her secret lab. we went to the room with all the beds, and took a chance to sit down. "So Alphys." I said seriously. "I think you know of my friend here Flowey." Alphys slowly nods as she stares him down nervously. "He is the prince of the underground." Alphys stared at me with huge eyes. "A-Asriel Dreem-murr?" she asks. "Yup that's me, or at least WAS me." Flowey said with a sad expression. "I see" said Alphys. "What I want to do Alphys is bring him back to his monster form." And I was thinking you would know of a way to bring him back." I said. "I-I." said Alphys not nervously but extremely quizzical. "Fl-Flowey do you know what can bring you back?" She asked. "A single monster soul." said Flowey. Alphys has a look on her face that consists of pure concentration. "I don't know how I'm going to give you a monster soul but I can try!" She said looking confident. We went to the DETERMINATION EXTRACTING MACHINE. "I might be able to reverse the effects of this machine to not extract determination, but to give a copy of a monster SOUL." Alphys said. "R-really?" Flowey said. "Y-you can bring me back?" "I-I'll try!" Alphys said clearly sweating from Flowey's belief in Alphys.
5 hours later...
Me, Flowey, and even Chara were starting to look tired. Even though we were just sitting the whole time. Alphys came out from behind the machine with dirt and grime all over her face and coat, looking only about half as tired as any of us. "I-I can't! I can't understand how this machine works! the former royal scientist must have used some kind of magic with the gears! I don't have what it takes you guys I'm sorry.." Alphys had tears in her eyes. I went up to hug her tightly. "Alphys it's ok." I said sadly, because I don't think either me or Alphys had the guts to look at Flowey. "Hey guys." said Flowey. Me and Alphys had the guts to muster a look in his direction Chara even looked sad. "W-what is that thing?" Flowey said sounding concerned. We look over to where he was staring and see none other than Reaper Bird. "O-oh" said Alphys. "It's Reaper Bird!" I said laughing. "What are you doing here Reaper Bird?" I ask calmly. An entire minute of silence passes. "R-reap-" I said before a white heart came out of Reaper Bird. His form started to deteriorate but eventually stops. We were all gaping, until the soul started to float towards Flowey. There was a flash of light,then we all look toward where Flowey once was and see none other than the goat prince of the underground.
