"You seriously never rode a horse before? As expected from a city boy."

Killua glares daggers as he tries to get up on the horse's saddle placed by Gon. Watching his new supposed friend they coincidentally in the city holding an amused grin.

A smudge of dark covered his tanned face and arms. Arms that surely carry heavy stuff around the bustling farm. He wonders how they would feel beneath-quickly pushing those unnecessary physical attraction thoughts that'll go too far aside to focus the task at hand.

"I'm a college student who's trying to pay off their debt and tuition at a market. Now, why am I here again?"

Gon chuckles. God. It should be illegal to laugh that cutely. "Here, let me help. You aren't making any progress." Bringing his hand to give Killua a small boost on the back. Which was helpful despite his pride now wounded.

"Thank you. Could've gotten it myself." Settling on the relaxed black stallion. Jumped when the horse shook her head for a second and waited for further command.

"Okay, now what? Do I use these leads?" Killua tugs on the lead. The horse jerks.

"Hey it's okay Stellar." Gon rubs the smooth coated head to calm down the horse and turns to face Killua. "I'll walk you two around and then we can go walk somewhere together. How's that sound, city goer?"

Killua rolls his eyes. "Fine. But quit calling me that, I have a name, farm boy."

Gon ignores the rest and nods in a hum. "Let's go Stellar and city goer."

Killua inwardly groans. This was gonna be a long day with regret of coming to visit.

All he asked was a report about the farm of what's life like here. Not to be a farm boy. Nothing against them but it's not in his perk of interest.

He just hopes to survive this newly unasked experience and go home.

"What do you think?"

Coming to a full stop near a trail. Gon held onto the green lead to watch Killua looking a bit tired or bored, probably both.

Killua shrugs. "It's alright. Not as bad as I thought it was gonna be."

He answers truthfully. At first he thought they were gonna walk around in circles for long periods of time in the training gates, instead, he gets a detour of what's around the barn and explains what he does around the barn with his aunt.

Expectation of falling when the horse either gets spooked or falling off looking like an idiot.
Thankfully the horse is well trained to not be reckless or easily afraid of simple training it probably got used too over time.

"That's good too hear! Wanna go somewhere off this trail?" Gon asks. Eyes were wide and studied Killua. It made Killua shift weirdly to consider. Maybe he'll get more needed information about the farm off the trails in case he runs short of the requirements needed.

Killua nods. He waits for Gon to Continue, but what he didn't expect is Gon to hop back behind him without further warning. Warm back faintly furnaces behind his own, not necessarily touching. He stiffens at the movement before Gon speaks.

"I wanna show you something cool, it'll probably help with your assignment."

"How did you-"

"A friend told me. Now. It'll be quicker if Stellar steady jogs than me walking down the trail. Are you ready for a faster ride on Stella or not yet? It's fine if you aren't up for it." Gon questions to make sure Killua is up for the task.

Killua thinks for a moment. A hidden destination and Gon wants to show him? Even his friends never told any of the sort about whatever Gon is about to show him. Why him though?

Killua swallows lightly. "Uh, sure. This is actually kinda nice. Your horse is really soothing to ride on. We can pick up the pace." Thank heavens he's facing the other way or else Gon would see his growing blush.

"Cool! I'll let you know where to go. It's not far from here."

Gon gave his final direction of a short left turn moments ago and Killua couldn't believe what he was seeing.

"We're here! What do you think?" Gon excitedly jumps off the horse to smoothly land on bright green grass.

The view was nothing but stunning. A horizon over a high hill to see endless land leading to the unknown. The sun is close to setting behind tall purple mountains, tall trees and pine trees surrounding a long river stream. Birds chirping all around them. Killua never saw anything more beautiful.

He gets off the horse to take a quick picture vertically first and then horizontally. He wonders if he can get bonus points for these newly fresh taken pictures.

"Beautiful huh? Never knew till grandma showed me when I was young." Gon smiles thoughtfully in the serene moment. Killua wasn't sure what to say and kept quiet, humming in agreement and acknowledgment.

For why his heart skipped a beat of the calming aroma around Gon is unknown and is afraid to know.

He ignores it.

He wasn't sure how long they stood there. But it occurred that it was gradually getting darker as a sign of dawn around the corner.

"We should get going. Aunt is probably worried, I'll ride us back, but we need to hurry before the night animals come out. So Stellar has to run." He suggested.

Stretching out his legs standing up from sitting down in mere comfortable silence, which was grateful and needed in Killuas' favor. Killua also does the same and agrees in immediate response. His sister is also wondering where he is with no reception to tell her on the phone.

The downside about living out here. How did people live with technology back then and even now? Must be quite difficult.

"You should hold onto me. The ride won't be necessarily soothing." Setting himself comfortably on his horse and holding out a hand to Killua.

He hesitates for a moment before grabbing onto a warm firm grip and gets pulled up back onto the horse behind Gon this time.

Hands hovered beside Gons' waist. Killua raises up his warming face to see Gon nod in affirmation and steadily holds on in a tight grip.

"Let's go Stellar!"

"That was fun. Haven't rode Stellar at that pace in awhile, feels refreshing." Gon hops off his horse near a fence to tie the lead and walks over near Killua who looks about he's going to faint.

"Are you okay?" There was no response. Killua only moved to get off but his foot got caught in something on the saddle, making him fumbled as if he's drunk and hallucinating.

Gon eyes widen in horror and wraps his arms around the speechless male to prevent him from falling in either direction and places his steady footing back firmly on solid ground.

"Ah damn, sorry. I guess I'm just tired." Killua mumbles against Gon, face slightly buried in Gons' neck. Hands gripped around Gons' firm toned arms, toner than his slimmer framed not by much but visibly noticeable.

Gon stutters. "U-uh it's fine. You almost fell asleep while hugging me the entire ride. Had to keep to talking to keep you awake. Good you didn't fall off." He chuckles in a nervous manner, Killua looks up confused, gaze a bit drowsy. Gon quirks a brow.

"Are you alright? I can give you a ride-"

"Boys! Thank goodness you're alright. Dinner is almost ready." Aunt Mito breaks into the awkward scene.

The two boys' faces were much too close including physical contact to consider plationic.

Gon pulls himself away if burned face hotter than fire in shame as for Killua who's faintly embarrassed but doesn't quite understand the situation until now and wakes up a bit more to get the full gist.

Mito eyes the two, unsure what tension she broke and asks Killua a question. "Do you wanna stay over for dinner?"

Killua looks over at Gon, eyebrows raised with widened eyes and slowly turns to face Mito to nod in disagreement. "Thank you for the offer, but I gotta get home to my sister. She's probably worried. I should get going." Turning to Gon, he smiles fondly with a pounding heart.

"Thank you for everything today, Gon. Bye." He bows towards the two he thanked and turns around.

"Hey, Killua." That stopped Killua in his tracks. This is the first time he used his actual name. He turns around with widen eyes to Gon grinning genuinely and says,

"Be safe. Come back sometime."

The fondest of words he got from a stranger, so much more different than his home town people are, his stomach flutters. Giving back a genuine smile of his own.

"Thank you again, see you soon, Gon."

He finally turns around.

"Who's that cute boy with the beautiful horse?" His sister Alluka asks kindly, along with Kalluto who sparked keen interest beside her. Staring at Killuas home wallpaper took hours prior.

Killua sighs calmly. "A new friend, who I'm probably in love with."

Stellar is one lucky horse.
