You slept the entire flight to San Francisco. Widow had made you and Seol rest in Russia for a few days but it was finally time to look for Reed Richards.
Seol: Morning.
You smiled.
Y/N: Hello there.
Seol: General Kenobi.
You looked at her oddly. She suddenly looked shocked.
Seol: Do you not know that meme?
Y/N: I still don't know what a meme is.
Seol looked even more shocked.
Seol: How? You're 17!
Y/N: I was homeless until I was 16. Plus I was usually busy.
Widow: We're almost there!
Seol glared at you.
Seol: We're watching Star Wars when we have the chance.
Y/N: The hell is Star Wars?!
The jet started to land on the runway strip of the San Francisco Airport signaling the end of your journey. Once it came to a stop, you and Seol stepped out and steached after the long flight.
Seol: The last time I was here, I was still a normal human.
Y/N: Never been.
Seol: Never seen Star Wars either. Freak.
You laughed at her jest and waited for Widow.

The Uber came to a stop in front of a nice home which was painted a nice shade of red with golden lining. You all stepped out and Widow gave thanks to the driver. You gripped your bag a bit tighter since you knew what was waiting for you inside.
Seol: Are you ok?
Y/N: Nope.
You turned to leave but Widow grabbed the back of your shirt and pulled you back. You sighed as the two started their way up the steps. You gave in and followed. Widow rang the doorbell as you looked around. You really didn't want to be here but you also knew it was a school day.
Seol: Are they not home?
???: I am but I was kinda busy.
You looked around before spotting an ant on the railing. On said ant, was a man.
Y/N: Uh. I thought Hank was dead.
Widow: He is.
???: I'm the other Ant Man. You can call me Scott.
Y/N: Cool. Wanna let us in Scott?
Scott: Wanna apologize for breaking my niece's heart?
Y/N: Nadia is your niece?
Scott: Not by blood but yeah.
Scott rode his ant down the rail before crawling under the door. The door unlocked and opened to reveal Scott in his normal human size.
Scott: Welcome to Casa La Lang.
The three of you entered the house and looked around. You set your bags down near the halltree as Scott took off his suit. He wore shorts underneath but pulled on a white tee shirt. You looked around before you heard something walking around. You looked in the kitchen and saw a giant ant making a pot of coffee.
Y/N: Not going to question it. Not going to question it.
You walked away while the ant poured a fresh cup of coffee for himself.
Scott: So, long time no see Natasha. How goes the secret spy stuff?
Natasha: I gave it up about three months ago. Been babysitting this one since.
You raised your hands in defense.
Y/N: You're the one who dragged me out to Russia.
Scott: And you ran away dude.
You sighed.
Y/N: This is going to be the whole visit isn't it?
Scott: You beat your ass it is.
Seol: So this is your normal everyday life. I was expecting more friendly banter.
Y/N: I left because I didn't want to keep lying to her.
Scott: You could've said that before you left.
Y/N: I, you....fuck! You're right. I'm sorry! Ok? I should've said something. I was just mad and, I already went through a lot of stuff that looking at her was hard.
Scott: Is this about that future thing?
Y/N: My PTSD?
Scott: You got PTSD? Jesus. I'm sorry. I didn't know.
You sighed.
Y/N: It's fine. You were just defending your niece.
Scott: Still. Hey, Nadia will be home later. Will you be ok to....
You nodded. Widow and Seol looked at each other.
Widow: I was actually hoping that they could have a bit to talk alone. Maybe clear the air before we go hunting for Richards.
Scott gave it some thought.
Scott: I don't like that idea but I'll agree to it. Her mom might be a bit harder to convince though.
Janet: You beat your ass.
You all turned to see Janet enter the house. You sighed. Here we go.

You began to bounce your leg nervously. Janet, after a few hours of interrogation, yelling, acceptance, and catching up, told you to wait up in Nadia's room for her to show up from school. Widow was right, you needed to acatually take to her. You only had a brief moment with her at the ball but you wanted to be able to look her in the eye.
Y/N: Why is this so hard?
You heard the door open downstairs and you froze up. Your nerves got the better from you as you heard Nadia talk to Widow and Seol. Suddenly footsteps were heard on the stairs and you freaked out. You jumped on the bed and covered yourself with the blankets in a desperate attempt to hide yourself. The door opened and you freaked out even more causing your the phase through the bed and land on the floor.
Nadia: Hello?!
You groaned and stuck your hand out. You then pulled yourself out and looked up at her. Not directly though.
Y/N: H-Hey.
Nadia looked surpsied.
Nadia: Y/N? Uh, what are you doing under my bed?
You sighed and stood up.
Y/N: Widow thought the two of us should talk to clear the air. Your mom told me to wait for you up here. I kinda freaked out and tried to hide.
Nadia looked at you blankly for a bit before sighing. She tossed her backpack down and took a seat on her bed. You walked over to the chair she had at her desk and the two of you sat in silence. Finally, you decided to speak up.
Y/N: I'm sorry for running again.
Nadia looked up at you.
Y/N: Even after I told you I would talk to you about this stuff before I didn't something like that again. I just, couldn't handle the idea of lying to all of you anymore. If I fell in love with you I wanted it to be sincere.
Nadia bit her lip before taking a deep breath.
Nadia: I understand why you did what you did. The idea of not being in control of your thoughts and emotions makes me feel trapped. I have no idea what you're going through.
Y/N: That doesn't justify what I did. I still made you fall in love with me. I played with your heart.
Nadia: NOT ON PURPOSE! Besides, I fell in love with you on my own regard!
Y/N: That doesn't matter. It was based around a lie.
Nadia flinched at your words. You realized what you said and looked up to apologize. Suddenly you froze when you saw her face. Visions began to flash through your mind of the horrifying future. Nadia noticed this and rushed over you to.
Nadia: Y/N?
You shook your head and suddenly found yourself looking into her eyes.
Y/N: Nadia I, I'm sorry.
You suddenly felt tears begin to form in your eyes. Nadia also began to cry as you placed your hands on her shoulder.
Y/N: I'm sorry I'm so damn weak. No matter how hard I try and train, I'm still the same.
Nadia shook her head.
Nadia: You're the strongest person I know. You beat yourself up for something you have no control over. Please, stop. Stop putting yourself down.
Y/N: How can I? I can't help but think that everything is just leading to me killing you all. I'm a damn sleeper agent Nadia.
Nadia: But you're working to stop that from happening.
Your eyes widened.
Y/N: I....
Nadia: Oh just shut up and kiss me.
You smiled as you pulled her towards you. The two of you shared a tender kiss. To hell with the Protocol. You didn't care if these were your feelings right now. All you knew was that you had Nadia now and that the two of you loved each other.
You lifted her up and you carried her to the bed. You gently laid her down and contiued to kiss her. You slowly left a trail of soft kisses down her neck before you returned to her lips. Her hands began to roam across your chest before she started to unbutton your shirt. Tomorrow, you looked for Richards. Today, right now, you were with Nadia. You were done letting this dark cloud hang over you.
