The next morning (Tuesday) in school, Marinette walked to the front of the school to the courtyard and she saw her friends too, they said hi to her and she said hi back.
Alya: Did you hear?
Marinette: Hear what?
Alya: The snap you did to Chloé, she's not coming to school.
Marinette: What? Really?
Alix: Yep. She posted about not going to school for the rest of the semester.
Marinette: Wow.
Alya: You put her in her place yesterday, she'll probably be scared to not go back to school.
Marinette: I don't know. I still feel guilty for what I said.
Alya: Guilty? That little Miss Perfect had to come. You set her straight, I would consider that a good thing.
Marinette: I...I don't know. *Soon, Adrien walks up the steps to the school with a bouquet for Marinette. *
Adrien: I hope she likes these.
Plagg: Adrien, I'm confused. Are you in love with Marinette or are you being friendly to her?
Adrien: Probably... both.
Plagg: You're gonna get shut down, I know it.
Adrien: No I won't. Just watch. *He heads to the courtyard and he sees her. * There she is. Watch and learn, Plagg. *He goes up to her and taps on her shoulder, she turns around and sees Adrien. * Hi. *Marinette faced away from him and ignored him. *
Marinette: Oh...hey.
Adrien: Can I talk to you in private? Just real quick. *Marinette rolled her eyes. *
Marinette: Fine. Let's go. *Adrien led the way and Marinette walked to the locker area. *
Alya: How much do you wanna bet he's gonna get rejected by her?
Alix: I would.
Mylene: Same.
Rose: Me too.
Juleka: I would say before he starts talking.
Alya: I would say after. *In the lockers, Marinette and Adrien stopped. *
Marinette: Okay. What?
Adrien: Well... I know what you said yesterday and I didn't see you more than a friend. But... after coming to a realization, I... I want to give it a try at least.
Marinette: What?
Adrien: I want to go out with you. *He got out a bouquet and she smelled them. *
Marinette: They're beautiful.
Adrien: So... would you accept the date? *Marinette's eyes were wide open. *
Marinette: Back it up there. Did... did you say date? As in a date, date?
Adrien: Yes. Would you?
Marinette: Listen... I made it clear that I don't want anything to do with you. I like Luka and I'm sticking with it.
Adrien: He doesn't need to know that I want to date you.
Luka: Know what?
Adrien: Where did you come from?
Marinette: Don't mind him. He wanted to date me, but I said no.
Luka:(unamused) Oh. I see.
Adrien: You wouldn't mind if I date her?
Luka: Why are you asking me? I'm not her keeper.
Marinette: Thank you. And no, I'm not going out with you. *She pushes the flowers up to him. * You should give them to Kagami. I always knew you and she would be great together. *She walks away and Luka walks away too. Adrien looked at the flowers and he looked sad too. *
Plagg: Told ya. Shut down.
Adrien: No need to rub it in. 'Maybe she's right. I have lost my chances, maybe Kagami and I might work out fine. I guess I can ask her out after fencing practice.' *Soon, the bell rings and he heads off to class. *
