"Hey Bri wake up baby we're home" a soft voice whispered whilst rubbing my upper arm. My eyes fluttered open and Cole was there smiling down at me as he stood by the open car door. "Hey hun we're home let's go in" he said as I unbuckled my seatbelt and got out. I went to grab my things from the boot but Cole stopped me and took it for me. I finally looked around and took in my surroundings and HOLY SHITTT how the fuck did I not see the fricking big ass mansion right in front of me!!!! I stood there gazing at the mansion in awe when I felt a hand on my shoulder and instantly flinched back I turned around to see Cole with a concerned expression on his face.
"U-um s-sorry" I said whilst looking at my feet.
"It's fine let's go inside" he said whilst walking towards the front door with me following behind. As we entered through the door there was a table with a vase full with beautiful flowers and two curved staircases on either side of the room leading upstairs and inbetween the staircases I could see the living room further back. "Come on I'll show you to your room and you can settle in and I'll come get you for dinner in a bit so you can meet everyone sound good" Cole said looking at me with a kind smile on his face. I just simply nodded my head in reply. We started walking up the stairs and my ribbs were burning and I had a slight limp which I think Cole noticed "hey you okay your limping are you hurt" he asked with concern in his voice.
"Oh no no I'm fine I just injured my ankle at basketball practice last week" I lied hoping he bought it.
"Okay if it gets worse let me know alright" he said.
"Okay" I replied in a quiet voice.
We continued up the stairs and walked through a corridor to all the bedrooms "okay here we are" he said as he opened the door to my bedroom I was absolutely shocked it was gorgeous right in front of me a queen size bed with royal blue sheets the walls painted dark grey to my left glass doors leading out to the balcony next to that further back was a desk then to my right there were two doors I went to one and looked inside to find a huge walk in closet I was stunned I looked in the other door to see a gorgeous bathroom a giant shower on my left then to my right a table with doors and a huge mirror further back was a bathtub with a sink and mirror on the back wall to the left and also I toilet next to it this bathroom was gigantic I went back to the room and saw a vanity on the right and I saw a bookcase by the door with a tv on the wall there was also I leather chair facing the balcony window I can't believe this is all for me I looked to Cole to see him leaving against the door frame arms crossed smirking at me I looked down with my cheeks going red "so I assume you like your room then" he said with a chuckle.
"Yes" I replied.
"If there's anything you wanna change let me know you can paint the walls a different colour whatever you want" he said.
"No it's okay it's perfect" I said.
"Okay I'll leave you to unpack I'll be back in a little while to get you for dinner" he said whilst about to close the door.
"Okay thankyou" I said as he closed the door.
I let out a sigh and unpacked all my clothes which barley filled the closet there was sooo much room left I went to my backpack and got my teddy out I know I'm fifteen I should have a teddy however this little panda I've had for as long as I can remember. I have no idea where I got him from but I just know I've always had him I placed him on my bed and went to take a shower it felt nice having a warm shower after so long it was relaxing. I got out my hair still dry as it didn't need washing I got some black leggings, black socks and a baggy black jumper with no hood I got dressed and headed a nock and the door "come in" I said. Cole opened to door and popped his head in "dinner is ready everyone is downstairs he said gesturing for me to follow I took a deep breath and followed. He lead me downstairs and through the living room to the entrance of the kitchen I herd talking and felt my anxiety kick in I slowed down but Cole turned to me put his hands on my shoulders reassuringly pushing me gently into the kitchen there was an island in the middle with stools around and to the right in front of me a big dining table with wait what!!!! Seven boys around the table this can't be right they can't all be my brothers right they must be one of my brothers friends or something I stared wide eyes as they all noticed me and instantly stopped there conversation to look at me I gulped and turned to look at Cole who stood behind me with his hands still on my shoulders "they're not all my brothers right?" I asked praying that he would say no.
"Yep these are your brothers you have seven" he replied.
My jaw dropped is this for real "w-what seriously I thought I only had like three brothers not seven" I said feeling slightly panicked and shocked Cole chuckled at my reaction and I could see the others with amused faces.
"Come on let's introduce you to everyone" Cole said. There was a very intimidating man at the head of the table Cole sat on his left and brought me to sit next to him four boys on the opposite side of me and one boy to my left I just sat with my head down staring at my hands in my lap as I twisted my fingers in nervousness.
"Okay so everyone introduce yourselves" Cole spoke up.
The man at the head of the table spoke first "Bri my name is Nicholas but you can call me nick and I'm twenty six" I just gave a small nod he had dirty blonde hair almost light brown with brown eyes.
"I'm Blake and I'm 24" the man on Nicholas right opposite Cole said with an emotionless expression he had black hair and brown eyes.
"I'm Caleb and I'm nineteen" the boy opposite said with a smile he had black hair and brown eyes I just nodded again.
"I'm Xavier and I'm seventeen and this is my moody twin Xander" the boy next to caleb said with a chuckle and a kind smile I looked to the boy next to him who was his twin he just rolled his eyes and looked away they both had dark brown hair and brown eyes.
"And I'm Ace I'm sixteen" the boy next to me spoke with a warm smile he had blonde hair and blue eyes we basically looked like twins I just nodded and looked down again wanting nothing more than to just go back to my room.
"Bri" I looked up to see Nicholas looking at me "It's good to have you back home we have all missed you a lot" he said with a slight smile.
"What do you mean back" I stuttered.
"You lived here until you were four" he replied looking kinda sad.
"Oh" I all i replied looking down again I don't remember them well I guess I was only four but still.
"I'm sorry for your foster father's death I know you haven't had much time to take it all in but we are all here if you ever need to talk I know this must all be very hard at the moment" Nicholas said I was kinda shocked but I'm not gonna trust him that easily I just nodded again.
"You don't talk much do ya" Caleb said looking at me.
"S-sorry" I mumbled.
"No need to apologise" he said with a genuine smile.
"Bri there are a few rules we must discuss" Nicholas said to which I just looked at him and nodded for him to continue.
"First is I am normally very busy with work aich means the rest of your brothers will be in charge so I expect you to do as they say, secondly I don't want you having boyfriends do you have one at the moment?" He questioned and everyone attention was immediately focused one me.
"U-um n-no I did but we broke up a couple of days ago" I replied hoping they wouldn't ask about him I really didn't wanna talk about him at all.
"Okay good I don't mind you having friends that are boys but no boyfriends got it" he said sternly I could tell he wanted to know about my ex but he didn't ask I nodded in reply to him.
"Okay also there will be no drugs, alcohol or smoking whatsoever if you are going out somewhere tell one of your brothers I also expect good grades from you, you will be going to a private school same as your brothers I looked at your grades from your last school and they are perfectly fine and I expect them to stay that way okay" he ask and I just nodded.
"Whilst looking at your school report I saw you were out of school for two months at the start if the year could you tell me why you weren't there" he questioned. Why does he need to know that was ages ago ugh.
"Um well I don't know" idiot idiot what kind of lame excuse is that.
"Don't lie" he said sternly.
"Well I was in hospital" I replied and everyone looked concerned and stared right at me.
"And why was that?" God why does he need to know.
"Um I I was in a c-car accident and injured my head" I replied hoping they wouldn't ask further questions it's not something I want to talk about.
"I'm sorry to hear that I'm glad your doing better now though" he said and I just nodded still looking down.
"I also found out you had quite the reputation of getting into fights at school is that right" oh shit ughh everyone looked shocked.
"Yes" I replied.
"Well that will need to stop understand".
"Yes" why does he know all of this jeez this is so annoying.
"Also even though your grades are really good you've missed a lot of school I expect better attendance alright" he said.
"Okay" I nodded.
"Okay good" he said as a lady who I didn't know brought us all plates it was pasta how am I going to eat all of this everyone started eating as I just looked down not knowing if I was allowed. "Why aren't you eating do you not like it" Caleb asked which caused everyone to look at me.
"Am I allowed" I asked quietly not looking up.
"What the fuck what do you mean" Xander asked this is the first I've heard him speak.
"Why would you ask that baby of course your allowed you don't need to ask to eat" Cole said to me looking concerned.
I nodded and replied "t-thankyou" and began eating it was absolutely delicious I finished almost a quarter and I knew if I carried on I would throw up so I put my fork down and drank some water.
"Is that all your eating?" Ace asked next to me.
"U-um yeah I'm not very hungry" I replied.
"But you only had a couple of grapes in the car you must be hungry" Cole said to me.
"I had a big breakfast" I lied.
"Try eating just a bit more okay please" Cole asked.
I hesitantly nodded my head and picked up my fork then I headed my phone ringing from the waistband of my leggings I looked to see who it was and saw Maddies name I ended it and I suddenly had loads of texts come through from Jenny and Tyler I had a ton of messages and missed calls my phone started ringing again.
"Sounds like someone is worried answer it we don't mind" Cole said with a smile.
"Um are you sure do you want me to leave" I asked.
"No it's fine don't worry" he replied.
I answered the phone and put it to my ear.
"Hello" I said
"Oh my fucking god Bri where the fuck have you been I've been worried sick about you!!"
"I'm fine Jen don't worry"
"Where are you have you been kidnapped I thought you might be dead"
"Hey hey Jen chill out I'm not dead okay"
"Well have you been kidnapped did you get in a fight should I call the police omg!!"
"NO!" I shouted and everyone looked at me confused. "Jenny don't call the police."
"Why if your in troubl-"
"Jen chill out I'm not in trouble seriously don't call the police I haven't been kidnapped okay" I cut her off
"Well have you been abducted by aliens".
"Oh my Lord Jennie" I sighed putting my hand to my forehead "I haven't been abducted by aliens okay don't be ridiculous I'm fine" I could see smirks on my brothers faces and a few of them trying to hold back their laughter.
"Well where are you, I had are entire history class form a seach party to look for you and you didnt turn up to dance me and Tyler have been driving round for hours"
"I'm home I didn't feel well so I skipped school"
"Bri Tyler went to your house you weren't there what's going on"
"Ugh fine I'm in California"
"Whattt you went without me how could you, you know I've been dying to go to the parties there" I was sure my brothers could hear everything Jen was saying
"Jen I didn't come here for the parties"
"Well why then"
"Umm well you see er"
"Bri seriously why are you acting so strange what's going on"
"Dan got into some trouble money issues and can't take care of me anymore so I'm with a new foster family so I won't be coming back to school" I saw all my brothers giving me confused looks probably wondering why I lied.
"WHATTTT"
"I know I'm sorry look ill talk to you more about it later I'm really tired okay"
"Alright but make sure you call me got it"
"I will I promise"
"Okay goodnight"
"Night"
I ended the phone call and looked up to see everyone had finished eating and were looking at me.
"Why did you lie?" Xavier questioned.
"I can't be botherd to explain evreything" I replied.
"Is she a close friend?" Caleb asked.
"Erh yeah she's my bestfriend" I replied.
"Um could I go upstairs now I'm really tired." I asked hoping they wouldn't notice that I didn't eat anymore of my food.
"Yes of course if you need anything during the night come to one of are rooms" Nicholas said to me and I just nodded my head and went to my room. This has been a long day I locked my door and went to my bag I got a cigarette and went out to the balcony after I finished I changed into so pjamas and went to bed and was out like a light.
