Kairis POV
It's been months since I've moved from Jersey but I haven't been able to think about anything or anyone else besides Mattia. I'm starting College next week and I decided to go to UCLA with Aryanna. She was my bestfriend after all.
My things for my room came a day later from when we got there so everything was normal besides the fact that I wasn't happy as much anymore. I always hung out with Aryanna and many people thought that we were dating but I soon told everyone that I was gay.
Not many people supported me but a lot of people did and I was thankful. I'm going to go get lunch with Ary since it's her birthday. She's turning 18. Finally, she's been 17 forever and I've missed parties. While Ary was driving I decided to go on Mattias snap. I saw him kissing a girl.
It was in his story and I took a screenshot before he deleted it. I looked closely and saw that it was Lena. Lena had been a good friend of mine and Mattia but he always swore that there was nothing going on between them.
THIRD PERSON
Kairi was always on the sensitive side and of course everyone knew that but when he saw that picture he just started to let tears roll down his face. When Kairi was in his 3rd week of college he made two friends. Jaden and Bryce. Josh talked about them back home.
Kairi immediately told Jaden and Bryce that he was Kairi. They of course kept his secret. Kairi was loving college. He had an amazing friends group and wasn't labeled as a 'tiktok' or 'Jersey' boy. He was just another regular boy.
KAIRIS POV
I've been at this school for a year now and I only have one more year before I can finally go back home. Mom said she wanted to stay here with Maiya so I decided to earn up money and tell Taylor and Victoria that I wanted to buy a house with all of them.
Mom got me a car so instead of buying money to take a plane I just drive and drive until I get there with bits of pit stops. I'm sad that I'm leaving this life behind but I miss my old one. Aryanna decided that she wanted to come live with me.
Not exactly one year but 8 months until I go back to Jersey. Im a sophomore in college and it's not as hard as I thought it would be. It's Thursday and next week is going to be winter break. I called Gianluca to say happy early christmas.
He asked me when I was coming back. "only 8 months. Don't worry and can you slowly give hint to your brother that Im not dead" I said to him. He agrees and hangs up. I go to school and see Aryanna in a crowd full of people.
"Hey whats going on" I ask her. She looks super happy and says "They're cutting the rest of the semester short by four months so that means we can move to Jersey way earlier than we planned". I smile and hug her. I take out my phone text Taylor. She was the one looking for a perfect house anyways.

Kairi - Taylor they're cutting the semester four months early so like I guess I'll see you in four months
Taylor - No fucking way really !!!! That means I need to buy the house like right fucking now. Lemme send you a picture of the house.
Kairi - There is no way in hell that you have enough money to buy that house.
Taylor - I actually do. Vic and Alvaro have been working part time at a tech place and they make a shit ton of money. Me, Mattia, Robert work at the mall which pays like really good. Ale and Roshaun work as tutors.
Kairi - Damn you guys have your shit together. I have a medium pay internship at SpaceX.
Taylor - Thats cool. Anyways I gotta get to class. If you wanna stay at my place when you get here then you're more than welcome
Kairi - Thanks and not just for this but for everything. You're the best.

I look over to Aryanna who's having fun with someone new. "Hi I'm Kairi it's nice to meet you." I say. He's a bit taller than me but he seems super chill. "I'm Matthew" He said. We talked for a bit before I realized that Ary wanted to be alone with him.
I said goodbye to him and went to my classes. Every class was fine. If you're wondering what I'm studying for. I'm studying engineering. Space rocket type of engineering. It's pretty cool but sometimes it gets rather difficult. At the end of the day I go home.
Aryanna had a dorm on campus so I sometimes went there but I wanted to tell my mom the good news. I saw Snowball when I got back and she was all dirty. "We gotta take a bath" I said to her. She started jumping around and she made her way into the bathtub.
I have her a bath then did my school work blah blah blah.

This went on for basically the four months Kairi had left of staying in California. Kairi packed up his car with everything he needed. He asked SpaceX to transfer his internship to Jersey but they did one better and gave him a job there with four times as much money earned.
At first he only got 2000$ a week but now he he will get 8000$ per week. Kairi was shocked. He started in four weeks. Kairi finished packing up his car and texted Taylor that he would be there with Aryanna in two days. Kairi was only thinking about Mattia and how he had to explain everything.
- 38 Hours later -
Kairi got to new Jersey. Since they all still had two months of school left. Taylor let them hide out in her house for the meantime. Two months have passed and it was now the first day of Summer break. They were gonna become Juniors in College which was unbelievable.
Taylor told everyone to go to Mattia's house. Kairi stayed in a bush outside so it didn't seem like he was being protected by Taylor all this time. Kairi after 43 minutes finally made up the courage to go knock on the door. He had a cap on with his hoodie over it.
Kairi knocked on the door and when Taylor opened it he slowly took off his hoodie and his cap revealing that he was Kairi. Mattia saw him and....
