You and Doreen stood there looking at Strange. A wizard. A God damn wizard. What the hell was even going on here?
Doreen: So every male in New York are all now committing crimes.
Dr. Strange nodded. He floated towards a strang golden pot in the middle of what looked like a study. The three of you surrounded it and looked into the swirling liquid inside. It showed various scenes from all around New York of males robbing everyone and everything.
Dr. Strange: You have a powerful mind to withstand Amora's power.
You shrugged.
Y/N: I just have a lot of things going my way I guess.
Strange walked over to a bookcase and grabbed a book. He opened it and you were all suddenly in a very magical looking place. It almost looked like something off of some indie band's CD cover.
Doreen: Where are we?
Dr. Strange: We are in a place simply known as the MIND STATE.
Y/N: The Mind State?
Dr. Strange: This place grants access to every mind in existence. Stay close to me or you will be lost.
Dr. Strange started to walk ahead and you and Doreen followed. This entire place was massive and filled with many doors. Each door had some kind of symbol scratched on it's surface and every door was unique.
Dr. Strange: I can only free 5 minds. Think wisely for we can use every bit of help we can get.
5 minds? That at least means you can get Robbie and Tryone on your side. As for the other three....
Y/N: I know who we need to free. You think you can summon some people to?
Dr. Strange nodded.
Y/N: Perfect. I need my team here. All the Strikers. As for the other three minds, I want to free Miles Morales, Danny Ried, and Quentin Beck. Can you also summon up Gwendolyn, Kamala, Viv, and Nadia?
Dr. Strange: Very well. Consider it, done.
As he finished his sentence Gwendolyn, Kamala, Viv, Nadia, Felicia, Molly, and Tandy all appeared. They were all wearing their nightwear and were very, understandably, confused.
Tandy: Woah. This is some crazy dream.
Y/N: Totally 100% real.
They all looked at you and Strange.
Felicia: What's going on?
Dr. Strange: I am Dr. Steven Strange. A enchantress named Amora has placed a spell on every male in New York. Y/N has asked that I summon you all to assist us with dealing with her and freeing some of your firend's minds.
Doreen: What he said.
Nadia: That sounds nice and all but, I don't have any of my gear. Or a bra. How are we supposed to help?
Strange did some weird magic thing and suddenly everyone was wearing their normal gear.
Nadia: Oh. Uh, thanks for the bra.
Dr. Strange: Now we must go find your friends. Stay close to me or you will be lost in the Mind State for all of eternity.
Everyone gulped while you were too busy looking at the pretty colors. Strange lead the way and everyone followed.
Gwendolyn: Soooooo...Why did you summon me?
You looked back at her and shrugged.
Y/N: You seem useful. Plus if the others went crazy and attacked, I would rather not have you going and trying to kill them.
Gwendolyn: That's fair.
Strange stopped in front if a door that looked like it would be attached to a rundown home. The carving was a flaming skull.
Tandy: Robbie?
Kamala: Hey Mr. Dr. Man? How does this work exactly?
Dr. Strange: The Mind State houses everyone's mind. By entering their doors we can see their greatest desires, their greatest fears, their regrets, their accomplishments, and their ideal world. Amora has twisted their thoughts to grant them a false reality. In order to free your friends, we must enter their door and convince them to return to the true reality.
Kamala: This sounds easy enough.
Viv: The human mind is easy to trick.
Felicia: So he might be 100% convinced that the world he is living in is...
Y/N: Completely real.
Dr. Strange: Indeed. Good luck.
He held his hand against the door and a bright light surrounded it before it opened.
Dr. Strange: Only two at a time. The mind could get too mixed up if too many enter.
Y/N: Me and Molly will take this one.
Everyone nodded in agreement. You turned to your little sister and held out your hand. Molly took it and the two of you entered through the door. You were no longer in the Mind State. You were instead in front of a house in East Los Angeles in the day.
Y/N: Woah.
Molly: So are we in Robbie's mind?
The door opened and the two of you watched as a young boy stepped out carrying a trash bag. He walked to the black trash can and threw it in before noticing you.
???: Can I help you?
You quickly had to come up with an excuse. You pulled out your SHEILD badge and held it up.
Y/N: We're looking for Robbie Reyes. He's not in trouble we just want to talk to him about car, stuff.
Molly looked at you unamused. The boy was convinced though.
???: Sure thing. He won't be home for a few more minutes but you guys can come inside.
Molly: Thank you.
???: No problem. I'm Gabe by the way. Robbie's little brother.
Gabe? That would make sense for him to be alive in Robbie's perfect reality. You and Molly entered the house and Gabe offer the two of you a seat on the couch.
Gabe: Can I get you guys something to drink?
Y/N: Water.
Molly: Me to please.
Gabe flashed a smile before heading to the kitchen. The house looked very comfortable and, well homey.
Molly: Gabe is cute.
You looked at her and smirked. Molly was crushing on Robbie's little bro. Who is dead. That smirk slowly disappeared. Gabe returned with two cups of water, handed them to you, and sat down on the recliner. The front door opened and you looked over your shoulder to see Robbie enter. His hair was shorter and his eyes were both brown. He hung his jacket on the coat hanger and walked into the living room. He noticed you and Molly and looked to Gabe for answers.
Gabe: These guys are with SHIELD. They wanted to talk to you.
Robbie: What does SHIELD want with me?
Did he not know who you were?
Y/N: We just need some help in a case. Everyone we talked to pointed us to you. They called you the Ghost Rider.
Robbie's eyes went wide.
Robbie: Gabe, why don't you head outside? This is a private chat.
Gabe: But they're SHIELD! They work with the Avengers and....
Robbie: Outside. Please.
Gabe groaned and headed outside. Robbie took his seat and looked at the two of you.
Robbie: How do you know about the Ghost Rider?
You and Molly looked at each other. You slowly turned back to Robbie.
Y/N: Look Robbie, this is going to sound weird but stay with me. My name is Y/N. This is Molly. We're your teammates in the real world.
Molly: Yeah! A evil witch lady is in control of your mind! None of this is real.
Robbie scoffed as he rolled his eyes.
Robbie: Sure. And I fought Santa. Why are you here and how do you know the Rider?
Y/N: We're telling the truth Robbie! You're a member of the Strikers and this whole reality you're living in isn't real.
Robbie: Bullshit! If you're just going to be telling me lies then you can just lea...
Molly: Gabe is dead!
Robbie froze in his seat. He looked out the window and saw Gabe talking to their neighbor.
Robbie: Gabe is right there.
Y/N: No. He isn't. I don't want to do this Robbie but Molly is right. Gabe died after Hydra ordered the hit.
Robbie: Hydra? Why would they...
Y/N: Because you're the Ghost Rider. They wanted to controp you and they killed Gabe. You joined us to get your revenge and you did.
Robbie sunk down into his seat and slowly grabbed his head. You looked to Molly who was visibly worried. This had to be a lot to take in.
Suddenly there was a loud crashing sound outside. You all stood up and looked out the window to see ghostly figures flying around and attacking anyone they could find. You and Molly rushed outside with Robbie following.
Robbie: Gabe?! Gabe?!
Gabe: Over here!
Robbie rushed over to his brother's voice. It was coming from his car. The three of you surrounded it and you summoned up fire to engulf your hands. A green entity flew towards you but you punched it which made it vanish. You and Molly kept fighting while Robbie got into the car with his brother. He frantically grabbed the keys and tried to start the car but to no avail.
Robbie: Stupid piece of shit!
He began to hit the steering wheel as you got rid of another entity. Gabe grabbed his brother's hand causing the two to look at each other.
Gabe: Go help them. Save your teammates.
Robbie: What are you....
Gabe: They need your help Robbie. It's time to wake up.
Robbie shook his head as tears began to form in his eyes.
Gabe: Come on. You're the Ghost Rider after all.
Robbie gripped the wheel tighter as the flames of hell consumed him and the car. Gabe simply smiled as the Ghost Rider appeared. The car engine started and Ghost Rider speed down the street before drifting back around and driving straight towards the swarm of entities you and Molly were fighting. He turned the wheel and a massive wave of flames got rid of all of them. He stepped out of the car and walked towards you before reverting back to Robbie.
Y/N: Robbie?
Robbie: Yeah. Sorry it took me a bit to belive you guys.
You and Molly just smiled. You placed a hand on his shoulder.
Y/N: It's good to have you. Now we have a crazy evil wizard to fight after we free our other friends.
Robbie nodded before turning back to Gabe who was standing there. He smiled before putting his fist out.
Gabe: You're going to do great Rob. I'm ok here so you go kick some magic ass.
Robbie smiled before placing his knuckle against his brother's.
Robbie: Yeah. You got bro.
The three of you were suddenly back in the Mind State with the others. Robbie let his arm drop before turning to the others.
Robbie: So, who's next?
