After the whole fiasco, that I never thought in a million years would happen, I decided to throw a party. Sort of a farewell party, except the main star of the movie isn't invited. I did it all on my own, without the help of Kylie Jenner but she did pitch in a few great ideas that I wish I had the funds to but thought it was a little unnecessary to get a roller rink in the backyard. Pitch it in for my birthday next year Ky!
"You're crazy" Mom looked at me as she saw our backyard, full of fun games and different kinds of food in booths scattered at every corner as if we were just at a carnival
Our SUPER closet friends and family were the only ones invited and nobody else- strictly inner circle only. You can throw a big party with the people you love and admire or you can throw a big party with a bunch of people you hardly know and see. I'd choose the first one any day, which makes the most sense.
"It's fun, it's fabulous and it's freedom the three's f's we all want" I nudged, taking True from the hands of my mother and taking my two other siblings toward the the big gigantic inflatable slides, I couldn't choose between the slide, a house or the obstacle course so I chose all of them that scored me a free mechanical bull. It's a rent three get free type of deal that I had to see
I looked around me for a moment, looked at every face that I loved and cared for, they all got a long, not a single frown was there unless you're Penelope... She's not loving her new haircut that Kourt forced her but it'll grow on her, least of her problems! My parents were arm in arm, mom's head leaning on my dad's shoulder, I have completely no idea what they're talking about but I know that whatever it is, they're happy with where they are. I wish everyday was a fairytale. I enjoyed this moment, I love it, the way that it is, how everything just fits like a puzzle, perfect is too much of a cliché word to use and it's going to jinx every good thing that I have going on so I'll say my life is a half way finished puzzle. I've got a lot more to go through, things and people to find.
"Your parents always this close?" Scott came close to give baby Tutu a greeting of many many kisses and a big bear hug, he's amazing with kids no matter who they may belong to, he's great with them despite the fact that he maybe wasn't a great partner or person before but you know how things are nowadays- character development, kind of a really big topic now.
I looked over at them, super close, but it was all normal to me really "Yeah, why?" I questioned
He had no words come out of his mouth but a happy smile was written across his face "Huh, really? I just never seen them this close before, I mean I haven't been gone that long have I? A three week vacation is not a whole lifetime" He wanted to say something but no words had escaped his mouth, he just let things be, I know with that look in his eyes, he's got a great theory cooking up in his mind and if that theory seems to be false, he won't stop until it follows through
"You're just out of your game uncle Scott, do what my mom says, look with your eyes not your ass" I joked around
"That's the family quote, it should be embossed and put into a family crest" I can always joke around with Scott, literally about anything, things we're insecure of or going through or had been through, we joke about because, no matter how serious it actually may seem- life is nothing without a little bit of happiness and fun
I really threw a party because Tristan got his shit rocked, that should literally be in the headlines except that's the one thing the paparazzi didn't capture. The paps get a snapshot of every bit of our lives, useless, but when something worth the read happens, the paparazzi seem to be taking a day off. Whatever, I made it the headline of the magazine like photo booth. I guess I kind of follow after Kylie when it comes to planning parties and being the mastermind of this family- Kim, Kylie and then there's me, the one who'll break a million nails over her family. I'll gladly do it over and over again.
"Ben!" I hugged, a kiss on the cheek as both Ben and Devin did their bro shake and walked off toward the bar where my boyfriend can spill the hot gossip on how I broke their fellow NBA's nose
Kendall, was upstairs with Fai, and yes he's in this too regardless of our status. He's a really good family friend, just because we had a little falling out it doesn't mean I should expel him from all family functions, that's just petty. Jordyn on the other hand did something to hurt the whole entire family, Fai just hurt me and none of my relatives should have to hate him for some puppy love. I'm a grown and mature woman, can't you see? I found my mother in one corner, completely, eternally drunk and off the booze, she's all up on my father which is a little normal than it seems, except she's trying to kiss him and my dad's just calming her down without even hating on her for her sexual actions toward him. Hmm, unusual. Whatever.
I went to go look for Kenny since Ben was asking for her, he wanted to take pictures in the booth with her and give the public some more tease about their relationship, real genius. "Ken" I called out as I jogged in every corner of the house
"Fai, uh, you seen Kenny?" He was sat in the home theatre that we had, popcorn in his hand but a sour belt in his mouth, I chuckled, always indecisive when it came to things that he wanted to eat, always said something about 'if you can't choose just get both' what a great advice, but it won't work on people.
He smiled, finishing up his sour belt as it dangled down his mouth, the sugar sticking to his face, I chuckled at how ridiculous he actually looks "Yeah, she's in your room trying to borrow your USC hoodie, said something about you were supposed to get her one and you never did, sounds like memory loss to me" He joked around and got up to hug me, as soon as he did he wreaked of alcohol, specifically tequila mixed with whiskey and pineapple juice- he's asking for a week long hangover
I was confused but just went along with it, patted his back "You should go get some rest maybe stick your fingers down your throat and throw up all that shit in your system before you ruin my mom's carpet- her OCD will take over and murder you before we know it" I joked around, he nodded and went toward the nearest bathroom but stopped in the doorway, hands on the frame of the door with a faint sober look on his face
"You were my first love, still are. I love you Sage, you make me a better person and uhm you make my life more fun than it already is. If Devin fucks up just expect me at your doorstep in less than a minute, you got me? Because I love you, always will, push and push and push me away but Fai is here, hate or not Fai still here" He nodded toward me, eyes shutting slowly before he continued to carry on toward the bathroom, I didn't move but i stood still for a moment in the middle of the room, no words escaped me, I hate this, it surely doesn't change my mind about Devin, I just don't feel comfortable being around somebody who loves me in a way I don't. If one person loves way more than the other, their actions will be made with heart, not the mind and that's the scariest thing in life.
"Hey, you okay? You look like you've seen a ghost" She laughed, wearing my USC crewneck with my last name written on the back of it, I blinked myself back into reality and gave her a funny look "Fine, I'll get you your USC merch on Monday"
"Yeah but I kind of like your last name on it, repping my niece, the intelligent one with super memory you know? Proud and all" She moved her right shoulder in circles with a smile on her face, I rolled my eyes "Fine, keep it I'll get myself a new one, but, Benjamin Button wants a photo booth picture with you and then possibly fall on one knee, confessing his true love and feelings for you and then you know in a years time you'll be off the market for good but that's just my theory" I joked around, Kenny and I have been joking about our baller boyfriends falling on one knee and proposing, because we have this inside joke where we think that NBA players fall for women faster than the military men do, fact or fiction baby
"Shut up" She laughed, flipping me off
Well I'll be damned. Ben did fall on a knee, not the marrying part though- I gave him tickets to a concert he's been dying to see that was sold out- I had the last two- in exchange for two tickets for him to say something sweet and then fall on one knee, but to tie his shoes and walk away, genius because the whole family fell for it too, Kenny though, loved the prank, swear she says she'll get me back for it. Her pranks suck though
At the end of the day, it was only the KarJenner clan and the exception of my dad, Ben, Devin and obviously uncle Scott was left in the house. Grandma called in her chef for dinner, my mom is semi sober with a really wonderful headache cruising around, my dad, as always, taking care of my crazy wild mother.
"Before we have dinner can I say a few words to my favorite people ever?" My mom lightly clinked her knife onto the wine glass full of water as alkaseltzer fizzed to the top
"Khloe this better be good, we're all dying of hunger" Kourt joked with a smile on her face
"Shut up Kourtney, let me speak. Always trying to rain on my parade" My mom placed a palm on her forehead, a brief pause before she spilled the tea to the world
"I'm pregnant"
Our faces and facial expressions said it all, my dad just shrugged and gave himself a pat on the back- excuse me what?
"You're a liar, you can't drink and be pregnant, unless you want to give your kid a 10% chance of survival" uncle Scott threw a napkin and gave her a thumbs up
"Okay but on a serious note, Jesse Williams is going to have my next babies when the time is right- my sperm donor"
"Oh my god, just get together already, you guys didn't even try the first time" Lovey shouted
This family turns everything into a funny joke but still mean it with love, Kourtney thinks her jokes are funny but it's actually hurtful but she doesn't really think that. We still lover though, really.
"That's really great news Khloe" Kim and everyone else hopped on the train, I remained silent as I worded I love you to the both of them as I leaned on my mother
"Since we're doing announcements, I'd like to announce that Travis and I are planning for baby number two"
"KYLIEEEEEE"
She nodded, puckered lips and stuffed her mouth with nachos "I mean I'm not pregnant yet but we're working on it"
