"Ah" I yawned as I got up that morning. Today's the day I start my new school in Ohio. I've lived in small towns my whole life and then when my mom asked me if I wanted to move in with Uncle Shuster I jumped at the offer! Right now I'm living with him. He and Aunt Terry just divorced so her craft room is now my room. It's still full of her stuff but I have a bed in there so that's my room. Once she finds her own place to live though she's going to take all her crap out so I can officially move in. it's 5 minutes till 6. At 6 I normally get out of bed and start my workout for the day. Then at 6:30 in out of the shower clean, fed, and getting dressed. At 6:45 I'm out the door. I hop in my car and drive to my school. I asked the school if I could have my own key and they said yes, so I can get in. I then I unlock the door and go to the choir room. By 7:50 in at my locker getting my things and heading off to class. That's how it normally goes but not today. I don't have a key yet. I instead still do all my morning routine things but I wait for Will to get ready. At 7:30 were out the door.
"Are you going to try out for anything?" asked Will
"Well I was thinking about joining your Glee club and the Drama club." I say. I'm really a good singer and actress.
"That's great. Glee club would be lucky to have you." Will said. I bet that's what he says to everyone. He doesn't know my talent yet. Back home I was the star of every play and every concert. I'm not up for a change now. We got to school and I ran straight to the office to get my schedule and all that 'good' stuff. When I looked at my schedule it was pretty bad.
1 hour- Science with Vanthullenar
2 hour- Orchestra with Hayes
3 hour- FACS with Charlesworth
4 hour- Math with Davis
5 hour- Language Arts with Thomason
6 hour- Social Studies with Mcclelland
7 hour- Choir with Robbins
8 hour- Clubs
I can hardy pronounce my first teachers name! Oh well, it is what it is. School starts at 7:50 so is still have time to practice.
"Oh Ray, there you are." Said Will "your tryout for glee is during your 8th hour. Glee is every other day so don't miss it!"
First period was like any other any new kid could get. I had to stand up and say random stuff about me. Then I sat down and did my work, same thing for all my classes. I'm just glad that here there farther behind than in Kansas. (Kansas is where I used to live) I just sat through the classes dreaming about my audition for Glee. What would I sing? I mean every song that I know I'm amazing at but still I want to do my absolute best. The song came to me right before I stepped into the Choir room.
"Don't rain on my Parade" I whispered as I walked in. once I got in everyone started whispering about how they had say me in one of there classes or "there's the new girl" Kinda thing.
"Everyone this is Rachelle." Introduced Will "she is my niece. She's going to try out for glee." Everyone started clapping. I should say something I thought
"Hi, I'm going to sing don't rain on my Parade" suddenly the whole room gasped. The girl whose outfit was a total disaster stood up.
"Mr. Shoe you can't let her sing MY song!!!" she yelled at him.
"Ok. Ray could you please sing another song so Rachel doesn't die?" asked Will
"Sure, I don't mind if I'm sparing an innocent life." So what am I going to sing? I asked myself?
"ok, I'm now going to sing From the Sky by Saving Jane."
They kicked me out of the parade
I guess I had too much to say

Once I was done everyone including Will and Rachel had there jaws on the floor. YES!!!! I beat Mrs. I'm the best at singing!!!! I did a little jig in my head. This was the best day ever! The rest of the time went by with everyone still trying to comprehend how well I sang. I just stood there waiting for someone to say something but no one did. No one even closed there mouths. The only movement was when Rachel got up with the scarcest face ever.
"I will kill your singing career. No one will ever be better than me!" she whispered into my ear.
Then the last bell rang.
"Well I'm going home so if anyone wants an on chore ask now of forever hold you peace." I told them all. I was half was out the door when 2 guys came next to me
"Hey I'm Finn and this is Puck." He pointed to the other one. "we're the best Male vocals so if you need anyone to practice with we're your men." Said Finn
"Great! You'll be the first ones I ask! Thanks!" I said trying to leave
"Aren't you in my math?" asked Finn
"Yeah I think." I replied not knowing where this was going to go.
"That means your pretty bad at math right?" OH NO!!! They have found out!
"Yes, I am truly the worst person at math in the world!" I said.
"Would you mind like helping me out? I totally don't know anything there talking about in any of my classes." He said with a sheepish grin on his face.
"Sure, in Kansas we were ahead of you guys so I already know all this stuff. Do you want to come over to my house and I'll help you out?" I asked
"Sure, but isn't Mr. Shoe be there?" he asked
"Yea but he likes to stay after school for like an hour so we'll have time." I said
"Great, I'll walk you to your car." He said.
"Bye" said Puck as we left. I had totally forgot about him since Finn is so drop-dead gorgeous! I wonder if he's taken. If I had to choose between them I would SO choose Finn! Puck isn't that nice looking. Finn walked me to his car since mine was at Will's house. The car ride was pretty quiet except for the occasional chit-chat stuff. Then we got to my house.
