Evelyn couldn't believe her eyes at the sight before her.

It was Henry.

It was her son.

Yet something in her gut didn't fill her with relief as it should have.

There was something off about him.

Henry ran and jumped over the coral, plants, and rocks almost in a supernatural way. Something was off about Henry, something terrible. A dark, angered look was on his soft face but covered by his free shoulder length hair. He raced towards the group, eyes settled on the pirate. His arm rose, his sword high in the sky as he leaped over a bolder towards Jack.

Jack pushed Carina and Evelyn out of harms way, causing them to face plant into the sandy ground. Even as Evelyn hit the ground, she rolled on to her back to watch what would happen.

Will shouted Henry's name, the sound of a scolding laced with pure shock resting there.

Jack pulled out his sword and began to cross blades with Henry, grunting and dodging each strong blow.

"Henry, what the hell is going on?" Will scolding, walking up to grab his son's shoulder. The boy whipped around, looking at Will as if he was a stranger. He began swinging his sword at Will, causing the man to begin to fight back.

Evelyn let out a violent gasp, her body flinching at the sudden, aggressive action from her son.

"Evelyn! Come this way." Carina spoke, grabbing Evelyn's hand. The two women got to their feet. As Carina dragged Evelyn towards the Trident, the strawberry blonde couldn't help but keep looking over her shoulder to watch her son fight his father and uncle. "Help me with the Trident!" Carina called over the noise.

Evelyn snapped her head forward, nodding as they climbed up the rocks it rested on. She placed her sword in her sheath and began to try to pull the Trident out. The two women grunted and pulled on the neck of the object. Their fingers slipped against the Trident due to the wetness as ocean water rained harder on them.

"Hold on!" Carina shouted, taking a step back from the Trident.

Evelyn mimicked the girl's actions, panting softly. She watched as Carina stepped down where the Trident was stuck. Her action caused water to shot out of the ground, sending both women flying back on to the rock. Laying on her back, Evelyn grunted, choking on the water that rushed into her mouth and nose, blinking away the water. She whipped around, noticing the Trident stuck just down below them on the ground.

"Come on." Evelyn croaked to Carina, clearing her throat. Together, they raced down the rocks and over the coral beds.

But Carina was slightly faster.

She slipped down ahead of Evelyn, bending down to grab a hold of the Trident. Suddenly, Henry was there right before her, trying to grab on to the object.

Evelyn gasped at Henry fighting Carina over dominance of the Trident. "Henry Turner, what has gotten into you!" She shouted at her son. Narrowing her eyes, she noticed dark veins covering his face and a freshly made cut on his cheek.

Before she even realized, Henry caused a force to come from the Trident, sending Carina flying across the sky, landing on the ground.

"Carina!" Evelyn screamed, watching the girl gasp for breath at the sudden impact on her. She snapped her head in Henry's direction, noticing how he hid behind the Trident that stood perfectly up. "Henry..." She said hesitantly, taking a slow step closer. Something fell from behind the Trident that startled her.

On the ground rested Henry.

Evelyn returned her eyes to the Trident, noticing the monster behind it.

Captain Salazar.

Evelyn then noticed was rested in the wall of water.

His men now surrounded them.

However, his gaze was not on her but on a certain pirate hiding behind rocks, just barely peeking over.

Evelyn gasp, turning her attention back to Henry, running after him as he rolled down to the ground. "Henry!" She shouted, carefully hoping over coral and rocks. Her heart rammed against her chest as she tried to get to her son as fast as possible.

Dropping to her knees, she cradled Henry's head as he laid unconscious.

Carina came running, dropping beside Evelyn. "Are you alright?" Evelyn asked the girl, freeing a hand to place on Carina's back.

"I'm fine, we need to wake up Henry." Panic laced Carina's voice. "Henry, please, please wake up! He's walking on land!  Henry!" She panicked, turning her shoulders towards the wall of water. A glare formed on her face at she noticed Salazar's crew standing there. "Oh piss off." She rasped, grabbing water to sprinkle on Henry's face.

Evelyn couldn't help but stare at Carina in awe. She didn't realize just how much she cared for Henry, how scared she was for him.

"Evelyn!" Will's voice called.

She lifted her eyes to look at Will rushing towards them. Blinking between Henry and Will, she looked to Carina. "Stay with him, please." She begged pushing herself to her feet.

"I will." Carina nodded, returning her gaze back down to Henry.

Evelyn hesitated but ran towards her husband, meeting him halfway. She crashed into his arms, holding him as she shook. "He's fine, he's going to be fine." She panted, pulling back slightly to look at a soaking wet Will.

Will cradled her face. "We have to help Jack. He's killing him." He spoke quickly.

Nodding, Evelyn spoke without any hesitation. "Let's go."

The couple pulled away from each other, placing a hand in the other as they ran towards the ghost. Within a big ball of water, Jack flew across the sky, in and out of the wall of water. Jack's screams echoed across the tomb until Jack fell down to the ground. Salazar stalked over to him as Will and Evelyn quietly came up behind him.

"Wait." Will's feet slid in the sand, halting to a stop. He held out an arm to stop Evelyn from walking. She looked at him with bewilderment at his actions.

Evelyn's heart raced in her chest. "What? Why? We have to help Jack!" She panicked, eager to get the Trident away from Salazar. She gasped, looking at the two men.

"As I said, surrender to me now and I'll let you...live." Jack's voice slowed down as he looked up from the ground on his hands and knees.

Salazar grew dangerously close to the pirate, holding the Trident in his grasp. "You want me to surrender?"

Jack stood to his feet, placing his hand on his head. "Maybe."

"This is where the tale ends." Captain Salazar spoke quickly, adjusting the Trident in his grasp and plunging it into Jack's chest.

Evelyn screamed lunging forward after Salazar as he pinned Jack against a rock. Will tried to pull her back to his chest but she slipped out. Tears burned Evelyn's eyes as she raced towards her friend's aid.

She couldn't hear things anymore, the world went silent.

She couldn't hear Henry and Carina speaking nor could she hear Will calling her name.

She couldn't tell if she heard Jack call Henry's name.

Evelyn couldn't control her actions anymore. She almost lost her son and she wasn't going to lose Jack too. She was done dealing with this monster of a man hurting the people she loved.

Everything felt like it was happening in slow motion as Evelyn drew near. Henry race towards Jack and Salazar as well. They made eye contact for a mere second though to Evelyn it felt like longer than that. Tears fell faster down her cheeks, relief washing through her, causing her body to shake. Returning her gaze on Salazar, she reached for the sword Will crafted for her all those years ago, pulling it out by the gold flower carved handle. The blade ringed as it was released from its cage and raised into the air. She could feel the coldness radiating off of Salazar as she came just a few feet from him.

Henry reached them first, lifting his blade and crashing it down on the Trident of Poseidon.

A force came from the break, sending everything perfectly still.

Evelyn reached Salazar as she slowly turned to take a step away from Jack. A battle scream came from her throat as she held the handle of her specially crafted sword over her head, before plunging in down into Captain Salazar's back.

The captain let out a cry pain, arching his back.

"This is for my family." Evelyn spat at the back of Salazar before pulling the blade out from him.

Suddenly, everything was happening in normal speed.

"Evelyn!" Will shouted, coming up behind Evelyn. He pulled her back to his chest, pulling her as far back as possible.

Evelyn went numb at what she saw next. Salazar fall to his knees and on to his back but he looked different. Gone was the faint floating of his black hair and the black cracks across his grey face.

Now, he looked human.

Alive.

Evelyn's eyes widen, looking down to her blade.

Blood was across the metal.

She killed him.

Will spun her around, holding her pale face. "Evelyn, Evelyn, look at me. It's okay." He rubbed her cheeks with his thumbs.

"I killed him." Evelyn's voice grew soft, disbelief haunting her words. "I killed him." She repeated. "How? How did I kill him?" She questioned.

"All curses are broken." Henry spoke, stepping up to her.

Evelyn dropped her blade, spinning around to her son. She instantly pulled him to her chest, cradling him in her arms. "Henry." She cried softly, pressing small kisses to his cheeks. "Are you okay?" Her vision blurred as she pulled back to hold his face.

"I'm alright, mother. It's okay now." He reassured her, holding her back, rubbing soothing circling.

Then a thought hit her.

"Jack. Where's Jack?" She panicked, gripping Henry's collar.

"I'm right here, love." Jack spoke behind Henry.

Evelyn craned her head around Henry's shoulder, letting out a choke-like sob. There stood the grin struck pirate whom she loved dearly. She gently moved out of Henry's arms and into Jack's opened arms. Evelyn sobbed into the pirate's chest, holding him tightly. "I thought I lost you." She cried, not bothering to hide the tears now.

"You could never lose me even if you tried." Jack softly reassured, smiling down at her. His word only made her cry harder. She truly couldn't stop the emotions. Evelyn truly was scared for the sake of her son's life and her dearest friend's life. "Oi, what have I said about the tears? I only want to see that beautiful smile I've always been so fond about." He pulled back to look at her face.

Evelyn pulled back to look at him with a red and tear-stained face. She gave the best smile she could, sniffling.

"Close enough." Jack nodded, patting her biceps.

She let out a small chuckle, looking towards Carina. Evelyn stepped up to Carina, placing her hands on her shoulders. "Are you okay?" Her voice was a bit squeakier than she thought as she spoke.

"I'm okay." Carina nodded, giving a teary smile.

Evelyn let out a noise of adoration, pulling Carina into a motherly embrace. "Oh, my sweet girl. Thank you for everything."

The sounds of cheering and laughter caused everyone to turn around. There stood Salazar's crew, looking alive and happy. They looked human.

"We should probably go before they find out you killed their captain." Jack spoke lightly to Evelyn.

Evelyn gave him a pointed glare before turning to look at the others. "How to do we get out of here?" She asked.

Suddenly, the walls of water made a strange noise. They began to slowly close in.

"How ever we do, it better be fast." Carina spoke.

"Where are we going to find a place to get us out of this place before we are submerge in water?" Henry asked, slight panic growing in his voice.

Will gave an impressed frown, nodding ahead of them. "Right there."

The group turned to where Will looked, tilting their heads up.

Coming for them just above was Captain Barbossa standing on the giant anchor of the Black Pearl.
