I told the nice lady, vivian beforhand that I wasn't really in the mood for dinner. she understood and didn't push it, which I was happy about.
after she left, i had pulled out the portrait of my brother, i couldn't believe he was gone, he really was young when he died, just 16. .
he had stepped up as my father figure when my own father couldn't.
so, losing him was a big loss for me, i lost my everything, my salvation, foundation, and roots. without him, i feel afloat, and missing him gives me heartaches.
today, is 22nd of April, the only day I let myself feel,
I hugged the portrait of Xavier.
"Xavi... what do I do without you" I sniffed, trying to stifle my cries, i didn't want to give off an attention seeking girl.
"Xavi do you know how much pain I've gone through..?" Now the tears were spilling.
"Xavi do you know how much I hate that you took the bullet." i mumbled as the tears proceeded to fall,
"bowther.. I miss you." I cried, i started hugging my stuff animal zebra, it was a gift from my brother, he had won it during a state fair.
"Xavier I got adopted again yay. Right?" I cried while laughing a little.
"It's so stupid, I've been guarding my emotions. But I still feel the pain" I clenched the zebra closer.
"Xavi if I could turn back in time, I would've just let myself go to them. Now our family is dead." I sobbed.
"Xavier... can you see me?" I looked up to the stars in the night sky.
we had so many plans.. and now I can't see ahead.
I cried harder into my zebra, when I hear a sudden knock to my door.
I quickly hid the photo away and put the zebra under the bed.
I wiped away the tears and grabbed the glass of water sitting by my bedside table.
I drank it, I was hoping I didn't look like too bad, so as I was hurrying to clean myself up the door sounded again.
"I'm coming!" I said walking to the door.
"Liv How are you settling in?" the nice lady, vivian says with a kind angelic smile.
I fake a smile, "I love it here! I'm glad you adopted me" I said earnestly, the room was so spacious, and screaming million dollar bills... it was luxurious.
"I'm glad too, also I apologize on behalf of my husband he just really isn't into children" Vivian explains.
"It's alright. I don't expect anything from him" I smiled.
So he's going to be like my birth father..
This time there's no Xavier.
Maybe Vivian is my Xavier?
Perhaps Xavier came back in a female form??
I'm getting ridiculous.
"well it's getting late so I'll tuck you in" Vivian says.
I nodded.
then I was placed onto my bed and she turned the lights off.
I rolled to my side and stare out the sky view window.
I saw the Big Dipper and the Little Dipper.
"Xavi you may not be around anymore but you'll live in my heart" I said patting the left side of my chest.

i was a bit surprised that I did not see the child at all, since we arrived, i mean, i don't really care about what she is doing, but then again I was always curious.
Then while resting on my bed I saw the door open.
"hey babe" i say, and I notice vivian starts to sit at her vanity gushing about how she's happy to have Olivia.
"where were you?" I asked setting my book down, not paying attention to the second of what she said,
"I went to tuck Olivia in" My wife replies, suddenly I felt guilty, i couldn't help but look down in shame.
"Hey don't worry I apologized on your behalf she doesn't expect anything so don't feel pressured" My wife tells me as she removes her earrings.
"Well that saves me the hassle" I chuckled.
Why do I feel disappointed?
Come on I really don't care about this child.
"Babe I'll be dropping Liv to school" My wife says and she removes her makeup.
"Okay I'll be working in my office" I said.
I had awaken up to seeing my lovely wife sleeping away, i glanced to the clock it was just 630 in the morning. i got out of bed, and went to my wardrobe pulling out a new shirt and pull it over me.
I started off to the workout room, and decided to just do 30 mins worth of exercises, by the time i finished it was around 7 in the morning.
I wiped the sweat off of my face and I made it back to my bedroom.

It was the same nightmare all over again.
Our house was being attacked by unknown people.
I rolled over onto my side.
The image of my brother laying dead on the ground bleeding with pools of blood was so fresh in my head.
It's been years why can't I just move on?
Things happen, nothing in life is constant!
I still remember the days when my brother was studying so hard.
"Liv please leave me alone" Xavier says shooing me away.
"Bowtherrr" I said now plopping myself on his lap.
"Haha how can I stay focus now?" He says ruffling my hair.
"You're my favourite baby sister" he says giving me a slobbery kiss on the forehead.
"I ish you only!" I said holding up one finger.
"yes baby you really are" he says and presses me to his chest.
I savored every memories of him.
He wasn't here but I guess his memory still lives on...
but Xavi you know those memories just bring me more pain?
I cried into the pillow, and my alarm goes, so I take that as my cue to wipe my tears away.
"Guard your emotions" I remembered My grandpa telling me.
"can't wait for school!" I rolled out of bed and went to the bathroom.
After I finished brushing my hair and brushing my teeth since I won't be eating anything.
I walked out of my bedroom and headed down the stairs.
"Hey Liv!" Vivian greets me.
I walk up to the kitchen table, Mr. Black kept reading the newspaper.
"good morning" I said to Vivian.
"since you didn't have dinner I'm sure you are starving !" Vivian exclaims.
My stomach churns, i really didn't want to eat... but I didn't want her to suspect so I nodded.
"Can I take it for a to-go?" I asked.
"sure sure, and I'll be dropping you off" she says.
Wow she really is a energetic person...
"Okay so I packed your lunch and here's your breakfast it's the classical Nutella and toast!" Vivian says.
I accepted it, but soon my stomach was hurting just the thought of having to eat lunch.
Ugh I'll just give it to a random kid, solving my issue.

i was got ready in time, and grabbed my backpack but to my dismay vivian wouldn't be the one to drop me off.
"last minute changes. I'll be dropping you off" Mr.Black utters with this monotonous tone to his voice, so uncaring too!
he grabbed the keys and I couldn't help but internally groan, just my luck.
"okay" I said, following him towards his car, and I expected I'd have to open the car door myself, i guess Mr. MeanFace can be a gentlemen as he opens the door for me.
the whole ride to my school was silent like always.
I opened the door and stepped out but then Mr. Black called me.
"Olivia, don't get into trouble" he says.
I was confused, why would he even care? so I just nodded, already forgetting to use verbal responses..
As if I'd get into trouble.
i walked towards my locker, and as usual, this boy Michael, always belittles me.
"isn't this the 6th adoption bahaha" Michael says, using his taunts.
I clenched my fist in response, but Michael just keeps smirking
"oh somebody is mad."
"yeah, unlike you, I am wanted." i say, ugh! he infuriated me!
"whatever floats your boat." he says, and he went off to his next class.
He was a freshmen in high school yet he bullies a middle schooler.
Xavi why aren't you here.
I sighed sitting in the back of the classroom, had its perks, i got to zone out.
"Good morning class, today we will be learning about the Triangle Theorem" the teacher says.
i really didn't want to go to school, i just want to lay in my bed..

"Alright well I'll go visit him soon." I responded with a smug look. I love torturing people.

normally I'd be frustrated that my wife had a urgent meeting to go to so quickly, because it means I would have to drop Olivia off.
but the thought itself didn't exactly bother me, hell I even told her not to cause trouble while at school.
while I watched her get out of the car, for a split second I felt like it was normal, watching your kid go off to school, but I quickly dismissed the thought and drove back to the estate.
the pathetic little falcons. have met their demise.
